Summary: After a short conversation between Patchouli and Lelouch, Lelouch agrees that if the chance comes, he would take Patchouli to visit his homeworld. Now that chance has come, and they're taking it.
the Story:
Honestly, Lelouch was a little frightened by the thought of returning home. One reason was because he didn't expect the chance to come so soon, although he wanted to go back. The second reason was because he couldn't image how "home" was after his forced departure. He sat in his computer chair, staring outside the window that he and Patchouli were soon going to go through, voices of the world beyond it clouding his thoughts. When this got boring - and somewhat annoying - he turned his head slightly to the opposite side and exchanged glances with the door, waiting for his guest to arrive. The door was left unlocked, so entering wasn't the problem. It was the concept getting out of the room - out of the mansion - that had his mind jumbled up.

"Hello, Lelouch," she said.
[[OOC: Now, when I say Patchy is rather underdressed today... (http://www.imagehustler.com/0408/1210124283.jpg)]]

Standing up, Lelouch examined his guest and her clothing. A very bold look, he silently commented to himself- much more flashy then his Ashford Academy uniform. If he was to return home, he would be in the correct outfit doing so.
"Aa," Lelouch nodded in a greeting, putting on a smile to match, "You got here rather quickly."

"No, I don't think there are any preperations left. Oh, except," Lelouch held out his hand, offering it for Patchouli to take it into her own, "so we don't lose one another on our way to the other side."

She took Lelouch's hand. "Very well," she said, "lead on."

"If you want to explore more, we should probably pass through the school gates." Lelouch commented, his smile once again back on his face.

"Yes," she said. "I'm very interested in looking around a little more..." This place, though, seemed abandoned. She was a bit disappointed by this but did not voice this.

((...Am I allowed to act out other characters from the Code Geass canon?))

...then, she thought she saw someone in the shadows...
[[OOC: Yes...]]

Lelouch also felt as if he saw someone lurking in the shadows. He turned around to see who it was, but was interrupted and attacked by a girl...
"Lulu, where have you been all this time? Slacking off when the rest of us are working back at the student council room!" she shouted.
It took a while for Lelouch to grasp who it was. "Ah..Shirley. Sorry, I was a bit pre-occupied with my friend, Patchy." Lelouch held out a hand, pointing at his partner, wishing to be forgiven for the nickname. He wasn't about to give out Patchouli's full name to anyone on this side of the window.
((...Although Shirley can't see her...right? XD I hope I'm doing this right ><))
no subject
An eye traced immediately to Lelouch. 'Lulu.' It sounded cute; Lelouch, as far as boys went, was pretty cute. Were her eyes less-trained, she'd have assumed him to be a girl.
"Calm down," she spoke to the one who had just attacked 'Lulu.' She was used to nicknames, and didn't mind in the least.
[[OOC: Completely unsure, sorry. You could have her see Patchy if you want, I guess? She'd probably do something to get herself noticed, anyway...]]

Lelouch waited to see how Shirley would react to Patchouli. Her reaction was not expected at all, "...Patchy? Lulu, are you hallucinating? Who are you pointing at?"
Lelouch was surprised by this reply. He could see Patchouli perfectly fine, why couldn't Shirley? He chose to roll with it, "Ah, I guess. I haven't been getting much sleep lately." He slightly turned his head to face Patchouli, giving her a 'what's going on?' look, but then turned back to Shirley, "Why don't we go back to the student council room then? The President must be furious by now." Lelouch motioned Patchouli closer, telling her to follow them and went on into the school, Shirley folling them closely.
((Just remembered! Patchouli is like an 'imaginary friend', so...I'm guessing she can't be seen by Shirley..? I hope it's okay if I made it that way. If not, tell me, and I will delete 8D))
no subject
Her attention quickly turned to the fact that Shirley didn't see Patchouli. "Maybe you can't see me? I'm not from this world..." At least she didn't have to worry much about as far as dressing properly. She followed as Lelouch instructed.

Lelouch agreed with Patchouli's theory for the reason as to why Shirley couldn't see her. She was from a different world. It made sense and to Lelouch there was no other explanation.
Soon enough, Shirley had moved to the front of the group, going on and on about events that had occured while he was gone. For some reason, she didn't want to know why he was gone - Shirley seemed happy enough to know that he was back. Apparently, Zero had been captured, the Order of Black Knights dibanded. Lelouch hadn't thought this as much of a shock, considering he was gone - but who had captured Zero? That is what disturbed him.
Shirley was distracted from her constant talking, not even bothering to look back at Lelouch and where Patchouli was anymore. Lelouch took this opportunity to get away.
"Patchouli, let's go to my room. I don't want to explain to the President the reason for my absense," he whispered to her, loud enough for Patchouli to hear, but not enough for Shirley to listen in.
no subject
"Alright," she replied just as quietly; she didn't know if Shirley could hear, but she wasn't about to let up her guard.
no subject
Once they were out of Shirley's sight and hearing range, Lelouch walked slower (still headed to his room), catching his breath - he was never the type for physical activities. He decided to start a conversation, "So, what do you think of Shirley?"
no subject
"She speaks perhaps a little too much," she said. "...something she said reminded me of someone from home. Lelouch, a little later, I want to explore a little bit later." Explore, and, while she didn't say it, she wanted to find information. The seal had been weakening around her home gradually, so who knows?
no subject
"If you want to explore, we will. I just have to check my room..." Lelouch once again quickened his pace, and reached his room - it was right where he left it - and opened the door. It looked exactly the same - except, as expected, there was no Nunally; no sign of his sister, "Hm..well, there was no point in me coming back here." Lelouch looked back at Patchouli, "Did you have a certain area in mind that you wanted to explore..? I can't assure you it'll still be here, though."
no subject
"Remilia Scarlet. She was the one who watched over me when I was sealed away; she, and many others, were among the others imprisoned. I'm not so sure why I suddenly thought of her... it's possible the seal cracked in my absence." She sighed. "Well... it was just a random thought, I guess."
Patchouli had a quick look at Lelouch's room. Something about it almost felt like it was missing something, but she didn't understand why. Maybe it was just because it had been empty until they entered. "First, I'd like to have a look around these facilities. In theory a school should be a good source of information." She was half fascinated and half freaked-out by this world, and she wondered what damage might have been inflicted upon it. "Just in case, Lelouch -- are you at all competent when it comes to stealth?"
no subject
"Hmm...she seems like an interesting person. Was she a friend of yours? Or just an acquaintance..?" Lelouch was getting more and more curious about Patchouli's past now. However, he knew he had to stop somewhere. Afterall, if he was to recieve information about her past, it was only fair that he would return the favor when asked to.
"Stealth?" Lelouch considered her question for a moment. He thought back to when he was Zero. He had hid his identity from others for quite some time and had even faked his death and had hidden the fact he was a prince, changing his last name to 'Lamperouge'.
"I suppose I am. Why?"
no subject
"She was, indeed, a friend," Patchouli said with a slight smile. "She was one of the few who didn't treat me as less than human outside of England before I was sealed, and was kind enough to give me a home when I was..." She sighed a little. "She had a younger sister. I guess Shirley reminded me of the little one, Flandre; she was always so cheerful... and, maybe the sound of a name reminded me of Remilia...
"As for why in regard to stealth, it's mostly... because having you caught up in conversations you don't want to be part of might be a bit of a hinderance, right?"
no subject
"A name..?" the only name Lelouch could remember mentioning was the President's and Shirley's. However, since Shirley was the sister, there was only one choice left, "Oh, you mean Millay? She's the president of the student concil."
This was true. Lelouch hated to be bothered for meaningless things. But by now, he was used to being caugh up in both conversations and events that he didn't choose to be in, "What kind of conversations?"
no subject
"...I guess that would vary based on who we encounter. the fact that they don't know of my existence is somewhat of a blessing and a curse, as far as gathering information goes... unfortunately such does not apply to you, which here would be only positive, as far as I can tell. Though, maybe if they noticed me, they might be able to help me more. If the Britannia Empire is anything like the Party in Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four, written material may not help us. Of course, information we are told may not be of any help in such a case, either, but, nonetheless... I wonder if there was some way I could get them to notice me?"
no subject
"Hm..us being in Area 11 and me trying to get information from the Britannian Empire probably wouldn't work out. The library might have some information, but they would be very limited, seeing how this place is just a building filled with students." Lelouch could have easily hacked into the program with his knowledge to gain locked information, but this would be a last resort, "...as for someone noticing you...I don't think that would be happening any time soon. Unless you are one who grabs another's attention easily - even when being almost completely invisible," Lelouch smiled, meaning the last staement as a (lame) joke..
no subject
"Such, indeed, presents a problem. Yet, I'm sure we can find some information..." She searched around a little. "Well, sometimes I can do that. I think mostly that it would help me manage to get others to speak to me, in theory; however, how much would they be willing to tell me?"
no subject
"Depending on what you want to know. Some are not as knowledgable as others. And while some may know, they might not want to share their information. I can help you there, though, so you don't have to worry about those kinds of people." Lelouch was referring to his Geass. Times like these, it really came in handy. He could easily order someone to tell him everything they know about what Patchouli was after - as long as he hasn't used the Geass on them before, that is. He didn't know why, but he wanted to help Patchouli find out what she was searching for.

"My room isn't at all interesting enough to stick around. We could go and explore now, if you'd like..?" Lelouch offered, turning to the door - he was more eager to leave the room than he thought he was. His room was too empty and being reminded what it missing only brought him regret.
no subject
"Yes," she said, "I think we should get out of here rather quickly. This is becoming rather uninteresting, and I understand what emotions it must evoke..." She stopped talking; she would probably just end up causing more pain if she didn't.
no subject
"Did you have anywhere in mind that you wanted to go? I know Ashford like the back of my hand, but if you want to go outside of school grounds, I have to ask Rivalz to take (drive) us there." Part of Lelouch didn't want to bump into Rivalz either - if he was still here - because it would be a bother to do so. However, the other part of him didn't really mind because he wanted to see how much Area 11 had changed while he was gone.
no subject
"Well, in that case," she said, "showing me around the school should suffice for now." She knew for a fact that she might want to meet some of these people, but to keep Lelouch away from too many others who might interrupt others. "Some of the students mights be of use, but that's not the point..."
no subject
"The students here who probably know the most are my...friends. They're in the student council as well and should be ontop of everything going on here. We could go visit them now, if you would like to," Lelouch couldn't avoid them forever. He would get yelled at by Millay one way or another and she would find a way to find him no matter where he hid, "however, if Shirley couldn't see you, I can't guarantee anyone else will. I can ask your questions for you, if that happens." Since their worlds were different, Lelouch had his doubts that there would be any information regarding Patchouli's world here, but if she wanted to know more about Area 11 and its history as Japan, that would not be too difficult to reveal.
no subject
"Well, in that case... we should go visit them; hopefully they won't give us too much trouble." She stayed a little optimistinc about this; it was the least she could do, right? No sense getting worried ...
"Well, I'm sure I could modify that, somewhat." She didn't know if the others could hear them, and it didn't seem so, but she had illusion magic she could use to at least appear to them, right?
no subject
"Aa, I want to know a little more about what's going on, too." Lelouch swiftly turned around on his heels and headed out the door, holding it open for Patchouli.
Once the two were out in the hallway, he made his way to the Student Council room. Even though he had been gone for God knows how long, he hadn't forgot the school corridors and which turns were where. He was worried that no one but himself could see her, because it would make some setbacks now, but he was re-assured by Patchouli's "plan", whatever it was. He didn't bother asking, because he knew the answer would come in time.
They reached the room in no time, "All right, Patchouli. Try to keep a low profile if they don't notice you...I don't want the President flinging around her random accusations at me about kidnapping a woman," Lelouch opened the door and took a step in. In front of the two stood the student council, not really working at all, except the President who was unpacking a couple of boxes - fireworks, he guessed, "I'm back, President."
no subject
She turned to the President. She would speak, but knew that this would not help at all. She was slightly disappointed, but what could be done?
[[OOC: It'll probably fade in and out repeatedly then eventually fail completely soon enough.]]

Millay then spoke up, "Lulu, where have you been all this time?"
"Sorry, President, I had other matters to tend to." Lelouch replied.
"And what's more important than our Student Council?" Millay paused for a moment and eyed what seemed to be an empty space next to Lulu, but he knew that she was looking - or trying to look - at Patchouli. Could she see her? "....i-in any case, a punishment should be enough to get you back on track; I'll let you know what it is later." She smiled, knowing Lelouch could not refuse her. She then turned her back to Lulu and went back to whatever she was doing before.
Lelouch turned to Patchouli and whispered to her, "It seems that you were right. She can tell you're here, but your form isn't..solid. I can be your voice, though, so I'll ask her whatever you want, but it has to be a reasonable request or question."
((orz, I am lame, it took me almost a week to find the "link" button cuz the comment faded ;; gah.))

Patchouli was trying to refrain from saying anything she'd regret later. Though Millay probably couldn't hear, there was still the possibility. "It wasn't his fault," she muttered quietly. She wasn't sure that this would do anything, but she was hopeful. She did wonder why Millay seemed to not react to Patchouli much. She turned her attention back to Millay. For a moment, she searched for a query to give to the woman. Finally, she came up with something.
"Do they fear?" She hoped her message got across.
