[THE ENGLISH CLASSROOM] [OPEN]

Who: All residents of the Mansion.
Where The English Room
When: During the Mad Mod event.
Rating: PG. \o/
Summary: Today the Mansion's turned into a most unusual sort of learning environment. Can you survive the perils of Education, now with its own unique Mansion flavor? [Note that while your character can only be in one of the classrooms to start with, they can sure as hell escape... only to land into another. Feel free to interact with one another. \o/ Hey, you might even rescue your poor friends!]
the Story:
This room is lined wall to wall with books, and right in front of you, in the desk you've been dropped into, is a small, neatly-bound edition of Alice in Wonderland, illustrations and all. In front of the class, there's a faceless teacher (resembling the vendors out back) droning a lecture. He's literally droning-- there isn't an intelligible word in what he's saying, and if you focus too much on it, you'll fall asleep.

If you're not looking for it, at the edges of your vision, you might see words crawling up along the walls... but when you look, they're gone.

Should you eyes stray or you attempt to leave the class, the books will literally fly from the shelves to angrily flutter around you/smack you, babbling excerpts from their contents as they go. The only way out lies within the words of your book.

A sign above the door reads 'What is a raven like?'

That was all the opening Vexen needed. Nodding his head curtly, he snapped out at Fakir, jerking his head towards the door. "You, boy!" Fakir was a distant acquaintance at best, and the situation a bit too pressing to recall his name at once. "The door's open! Let's get out of here!"

For a brief moment, he looked at Yuuko, then inclined his head in silent thanks, before smacking away another stray book and bolting through the open door--

And disappearing into an optical illusion.
