Who: Orihara Izaya and Aikawa Yuu
Where The office where Izaya does all his ridiculous therapy work
When: Sunday
Rating: PG-15
Summary: "Exposure Therapy is the only way!"
the Story:
Filling out paper? No. Being professional? Nope. Izaya's spinning around in his very fancy leather chair and laughing. He was supposed to have a patient or something like that in this time slot (The work schedule having been thrown in a fit of uncaring sometime earlier in the day) but they're oh...2 minutes late. He's damn well entitled to what he wants in that time.
It's a very tedious job.

"Perhaps this one then."
The thing is missing a foot.
no subject
"Why... What happened to it?"
no subject
He'll be setting it down, suspiciously turned towards Yuu, and going through another drawer of his desk. In due time, the rabbit's missing foot is tossed next to it.
"Do you really want me to fill you in? The people I got these from said that you were the one to have done it."

"...It reminds me of Eiji. Mitsu-- The wolf cut off his hand."
no subject
"Mm, might I suggest you actually use the wolf's name. Otherwise, that is simply a cheat to yourself."

Though the law would say otherwise. There was never any proof of Rei's presence of the crime scene, her involvement with Mitsuki, or that Mitsuki had ever been under any form of mind control. The idea was just too ridiculous to even warrant investigation, after Hajime had died.

Now quite honestly, since they're both Japanese and all, Izaya could very well take 'Rei' as 'Zero' and go off on some wild tangent on how that was some reflection on Yuu's personality and how he was the real wolf. Yes, Rei screwed you over one last time.
He might still bring this up later, but for now, don't mind Izaya as he fishes yet another rabbit from the desk. Even though it's kind of hard to miss, missing a head and all.

He stops abruptly when the headless bunny emerges. Swallowing, he forces himself to look away from it.
"--Look. You're not a therapist. And I'm not crazy. None of this is real."
no subject
"I know it's very hard to come to terms with this, but you can't very well claim to have died and yet be sitting here in my office at the same time. Please, you've already started talking. Don't break the chain."

His distaste for the toy is obvious, but the fact that it has no head makes it a little easier to deal with it. Even if it does remind him very strongly of Haruka.
"There."

"What? Why can't you?"
no subject
"While I can tell you what's wrong with you, I can't give you the short hand between doctors. You could easily learn what to and not to do."
no subject
"Then what's the significance of me being able to pick this up?"
no subject
"To explore the depths of the phobia you have and to treat you for it. If you are shown an abundance of said phobia you will be forced to adapt and essentially become desensitized to it. That's what this therapy is." Izaya pauses a moment to take some notes.
"And as I said, you're doing very well."
