The Grand and Splendiferous Ghost Log of 2013
Who: The Ghosts of Years Yet to Come and YOU!
Where: Anywhere. Everywhere.
When: December 15th - December 25th
Rating: G for Ghosts, Proceed With Caution!
Summary:
The Story:
And so it begins.
Throughout the mansion faded images will flicker in and out – ghosts of Wonderland's future. These ghosts can be of anyone, from any point in the next five years. They will play on repeat, as Wonderland's Chess Piece Ghosts have in the past, and they will offer brief glimpses into the future for anyone who witnesses them.
They cannot be stopped, and the images cannot be changed or altered. This isn't to say that the future can't eventually be changed, of course, but there is nothing that anyone can do over the course of this event that will change the contents of these imprints.

Summary:
• This log is intended to give everybody a good overview of where in Wonderland which ghosts can be found. It can be used as a reference for other posts, or to thread encounters too short to warrant their own entry.
• To help browsing all ghosts easily, please put [Name of Ghost Character] - [Location of Ghost in Wonderland] into the subject line, so everybody can immediately see who they'll encounter, and where.
•If you have any more questions about the ghosts, or the Christmas event in general, go ahead and post a comment to our Q & A thread!
• In short, STEP 1: Posts with ghosts! STEP 2: ?!?! STEP 3: PROFIT!

In the middle of writing up some information about one of the ghosts in a brand new notebook, he doesn't look up from his corrections and notations as he hears someone approach.]
Hey. [He says it without knowing who's there, but as soon as he finishes the line and looks, notices it's Meg, Blake's demeanor changes entirely. Hell, he even smiles a little, which is a marked improvement over the rest of the week.]
Hey. [He repeats himself, a little softer this time.] What's up? You okay? [She certainly looks to be carrying a few more burdens than usual.]
no subject
She walks a little closer, nodding and smirking just a bit. ]
Peachy keen. [ It's a lie, but getting her to actually talk about something that's bothering her is no small feat. Even if she did approach him first. ] Taking diligent notes on all the changes to the mansion? Cheery stuff, right?
no subject
[His expression turns rueful and he closes his notebook, tucking it away for the time being. Before he'd joined the police force, before he'd taken on the mantle of the Batman, John hadn't been much of a note taker. But the details became important at some point, and with Wonderland looking to rob pieces of information at every turn, notes are necessary.
But he doesn't mind the break; the images he's been seeing have all disturbed him in their own right, even those that have cheery intent (like the birthday scene in the kitchen).]
They got you spooked, too?
no subject
Maybe. [ It's less about the majority of them, and more about one she's witnessed in particular. ] Saw a little show of you in the kitchen a few minutes ago. Didn't look half bad if you're into birthdays and kittens.
no subject
If that was the worst of 'em, I'd be sittin' pretty. 'Fraid I've seen more'n my share of worse, though.
[He tips his head a little.]
Maybe it was your birthday? I'd get you a kitten.
no subject
Half this place would tell you I'd try to eat it. [ Which is not true, kitten can't be appetizing at all. ] I'm thinking a snake would be a better choice.
[ If it took care of itself and never annoyed her, that is. ]
You see anything on the tenth floor? [ It's out before she can stop herself, but she doesn't bother trying to back track. She's too unsettled for that. ] Pretty interesting stuff going on up there.
no subject
No, haven't seen nothin' particularly troublin' up there, 'side from the usual, I guess.. Wanna go take a look, then?
[He doubts she'd bring it up if she didn't went him to see it, for that matter.]
no subject
It's not pretty, so don't expect kittens and birthday parties. [ This is actually her warning him, something she rarely does. It's always threats, never warnings. ] Come on.
[ And she turns on her heel to leave the room, not looking back to see if he's following. She assumes he is. ]
no subject
Blake knows he needs to see because he wouldn't be here if he didn't. Still, there's some trepidation; some things can't be unseen.]
You wanna wait out here? Don't mind goin' in alone..
[Sometimes you just gotta offer.]
no subject
Go in and enjoy the show. [ It's not exactly sarcastic, more muted than anything. She walks across the hallway, taking up a spot against the wall with her hands in her jacket pockets. ] You'll have to let me know how many stars you rate it.
[ It's half joking, and a way to play off like she's so not bothered, not at all. ]
no subject
What he sees, though... it unsettles John in a way that has him feeling oddly uncertain about the world. Whatever this process happens to be, he's not so sure the cure doesn't look worse than the ailment. And that's saying nothing of Dean, only of his victim, his guinea pig, his whatever.
He opens the door and looks out at Meg, not even bothering to leave just yet.]
Are you kiddin' me? What the hell is this?
no subject
Looking up when he opens the door, she doesn't move as she purses her lips, halfway tempted to pull a sarcastic comment out of thin air. In the end, she doesn't. She really just doesn't have the mood for it. ]
That is how you cure a demon. [ When she says it, there's the urge to roll her eyes. As if it can't possibly be something that exists, as if it's one big joke ha ha so funny. Unfortunately, it's the furthest thing from a joke that she can think of. ] It's not like killing does jack around here, but that?
[ It's effective. She's loathe to admit it, but one way to put her in line and on the straight and (almost) narrow is exactly what she witnessed in that room. ]
It's a punishment for the ages.
[ Almost worse than Hell. ]
no subject
Looks like torture.
[And he isn't sure how he feels about that. Granted he doesn't understand all that much about the angels and the demons, but he does know what begging sounds like when it's coming out of a very desperate mouth.]
How's that even a cure?
no subject
[ She waves a hand lazily in the air, skipping all the uncomfortable details on the process. Meg herself isn't entirely clear on how it happens, since she'd been of the firm belief it was ten kinds of bullshit. Not anymore, though. ]
Turns a demon right back into their good old human self. Surprised it wasn't tried earlier, you know how icky those demons are.
