He wants to get some distance, at least go up to the roof, but all the outside doors are sealed. Maybe Lust would have had better luck with that. He's shut in with everyone else, with the body count already rising. He murdered his last surviving friend. None of his own possessions yet, at least, although a moment's perverse reflection says that at least it would give him an excuse to make his own kill, and they'd only come back anyway.
