BODY SWAP x March 20th x Closed to Emma Swan

[She'd been expecting some sort of summons ever since the unfortunate matter of Lydia Martin's voice ended. And really, she was well within her rights when she decided to keep it. It's not her fault that Lydia doesn't read things before signing them. But eventually the call came as predicted, and she agreed to meet Emma on neutral ground - the dining room.

The facts are these: Regina's life sucks, her son barely remembers her and Peter Pan is intent on making living in Wonderland even more difficult than it already is. And then Hook decided to give the one thing that could restore Henry's memory to Emma.

Emma's lucky she was gracious enough to agree to this meeting, she has every reason not to. Emma's already there when she arrives, so she takes a seat opposite her.]

Well, I'm here. What's this about?

[cursebreaking]

[It had taken far too long for this meeting to happen, but with all that had been happening in the last few weeks, it had been hard to find the time to speak to Regina privately. Now, however, Emma was making the time, no exceptions. This matter had to be dealt with -- she needed to know more than what Stiles had told her.]

It's been awhile since we've gotten to talk privately. In person.

[The addendum is necessary -- they've spoken on the network or with Henry present plenty of times, but this wasn't the kind of thing to talk about in front of him or anyone else.]

I wanted to ask you about Lydia.

[madehervows]

[That earns Emma a raised eyebrow, because how on Earth does she even know about that? The concept of the girl having friends goes over her head, apparently.]

What about her? The matter's since been settled.

[She did have to be strong armed into returning Lydia's voice, but it happened.]

I was well within my rights.

[cursebreaking]

'Settled.' Right.

[Emma raises an eyebrow right back. She's not buying it.]

Well within your rights for what? I've got her friends coming to me asking why the hell you took her voice and what needs to be done to get it back. You want to give me some details, here, or should I go ahead and assume the worst?

[Because she's trying incredibly hard not to do just that.]

BODY SWAP x March 20th+21st x OTA and anywhere in Wonderland

[Well that was an interesting meeting. She can honestly say she's never been in somebody else's body before. Looked like somebody else, sure. But she can feel the raw, untapped power of the Savior coursing through her veins. It's certainly a different feeling than the constant thrum of dark magic.

Of course, she's going to take advantage of being Emma Swan to spend time with her son. But Emma Swan has been in Wonderland an awful long time, and Regina isn't that good of an actor.]

Mom?

[Things have always been crazy in Wonderland, but they had been a lot crazier yesterday than they usually were. Henry doesn't have Lucky with him right now. There was too much going on and if something crazy happened to him he didn't want Lucky getting lost again.]

[An entire day spent in Emma's body without being able to track down Henry amidst the chaos of Wonderland had been... interesting, to say the least.

But there he is, and he's none the wiser. She'll feel bad about it later, when the swap is fixed and she's back in her own body.

Now, what is it Ms. Swan says?]

Hey, kid. You holding up okay?

[Nailed it??]

20th

[Hook's only been here a little while, and he hasn't seen nearly as much of Emma as he'd like to. That's not saying much. If it were up to him he and Emma would never be apart. So when he sees her, it's no surprise that he approaches her with a smile. A besotted one.]

Did you see there's some sort of carnival, Swan? Might be worth exploring.

[unwantedvow]

[This is so far from what she wanted that it might as well be Hook. ...Oh. Wait. But she hasn't seen Henry yet, and she just knows that if Hook finds out the truth, he'll go running to Emma.

She can't have that, so she's forced to play along.]

A carnival? Didn't think you'd be interested in that sort of thing.

[Look, Hook! She's even pretending to be glad to see you.

[unhand]

[He shrugs. It's not precisely his thing, but he'd be interested in exploring. And spending time with Emma.]

Thought your boy might be. We could take him.

21st!

<sub>[Peter only makes his presence known around Wonderland for two reasons: 1) he has a purpose in mind, or 2) he's bored and wants something to do. These "events" as they call them are certainly not boring--this one just so happens to be particularly thrilling.

That just leaves the first reason.

Guess who "Emma" is going to find sitting on the stairs when she tries to leave the eighth floor to visit other parts of the mansion. You can run, but you can't hide... not even in the body of someone else.]</sub>

How are we enjoying the changes?

_{[Peter has his back to her and doesn't even bother to look up at first. He'd taken his dagger out to scrape a bit of dried mud off of his boot, and now he twirls the blade between his hands idly.]}

[All good things must eventually come to an end, and of course the end comes with Pan's face.

She briefly entertains attacking him with Emma's face, attempting to trick him into think Emma broke the deal and later working something out with him more privately, that didn't include the Savior.

But whether being in Emma's body is affecting her thought process, or she is genuinely becoming a better person, she squashes that impulse down. Instead, she crosses her arms against her chest and stares at the back of his head.]

What do you want this time, Pan?

It could simply be that Regina is smarter than she looks at first glance--though right now, Regina doesn't even look like Regina, not that Emma is the brightest bulb in the box, either.]</sub>

_{[You make it sound like he's scheming for nefarious reasons. As if he's ever given you any reason to think so. He rests an arm on his knee and turns his body slightly to view her.]}

GENDERBENT x March 22nd+23rd x OTA and anywhere in Wonderland

[You know the drill, you go in the gazebo one way, come out another. Regina, at least, managed to get turned into an equally fabulous man as she is a woman. Unfortunately, he's the spitting image of a certain Lord Buckingham.

Once she gets over the shock of that, she'll attempt to go about her life and avoid her son. And Peter Pan.

But mostly Pan.]

[ Wonderland has played this trick on him once before, but Buckingham admits that he finds himself rather intrigued by the new take on it. He wonders, briefly, what might have caused the change in its design, but soon finds himself taken by a rather more important cause: The selection of his latest outfit.

...No, not quite right. Stunning, certainly, but he really ought to strive to maintain the resemblance. And so it is his latest outfit that he dons, when he catches sight of himself across the entrance hall. ]

Now this is an interesting surprise.

[Being in an actual male body, as opposed to a magical disguise? Is incredibly weird. Not that the form Wonderland's decided to give her is hideous, quite the opposite really.

If she spent some time looking in a mirror and making herself look perfect, well, that's between her and the inhabitants on the other side.

At the sound of... her own voice? She turns around, and of course, immediately recognises the dress. Altered, of course. And not the exact thing, but it's familiar all the same.]

And here I thought the dining hall was behind the body switching. Or is this something else?

I'm afraid I couldn't say...

[ Buckingham trails off to appraise himself, granted, perhaps politeness might dictate he make an exception to be less obvious about it, but how could he justify not making sure that he is, ah... worn correctly, as it were.

As fortune will have it he is still perfectly handsome, well-presented, and thoroughly satisfied with the display. ]

Last I was entirely myself was before I... stopped at the gazebo, although I have since heard its effect described somewhat differently. Perhaps Wonderland is even more whimsical than we thought.

MERPERSON x March 24th x OTA at the beach

[Wonderland's struck one more time. In an attempt to stay away from well, everything else, she'd sought refuge at the beach. Which worked, until she got wet and turned into something very familiar. Both to her, and those of you that have seen a Disney movie or been on the internet ever.

While she's in the water, she has an octopus bottom. And because she's can resist, she's done her hair, make up and outfit with magic to ensure she looks like the sea goddess one more time. She can't get her in Wonderland, right?]

[ so, being turned into a merperson isn't the worst thing that's happened to stiles since this event started. despite not having legs, he's kind of figured out that this isn't necessarily permanent, so it's turned into an exploration of the water--which also kind of means screwing around doing epic flips and trying to teach himself how to properly swim with a bright red fish tail.

when he turns around and sees octopus legs, stiles almost immediately scoots backwards, then actually gets an eyeful of the...oh hell no.

the eyeroll involves his head and neck jerking, and he wonders if maybe he's actually just been turned into a disney movie for the week. ] Lemme guess, what you want is ~ my voice~.

[ super dramatic voice. he hasn't recognized regina yet--as far as he knows, this is just like...wonderland's version of the bad witch from the disney movie. ]

[The last time she'd been like this, it was all part of her plan to get revenge on Snow White. Revenge doesn't lend itself to wild underwater adventures, especially after the real Ursula decides to threaten you.

But this is different, she doesn't have a role to play or an innocent mermaid to use as a tool. After all, the water's cool and after everything that's happened lately she could use a break.

And then Stiles has to ruin it. There she is, floating along and thinking about Henry probably, and along comes this asshole. But if he wants her to play a part? Then that's what he'll get.]

Oh dear sweet child, no. Why would I want your voice?

[All things considered, this mishmash of events could be much, much worse. Martha's avoided most of the unpleasant things. Thinking she was a part of Hogwarts for a while, that had been brilliant. The carnival had had its downsides, though at least her visions of the Master had worn off eventually.

The point being that she isn't too bothered by what's being going on thus far, though there are others who seem far more annoyed.

She's stayed away from the playground, not wanting to find herself a teenager again. That should be everyone's worst nightmare, almost as bad as becoming male. Good thing she's dodged both of them without too much trouble, then.

With the ocean, though, it's difficult to avoid it considering the way that it's almost come right up to the mansion. Martha doesn't realize when a wave comes rolling in farther than the others and so the next thing she knows, she's got a tail.

She's the little bloody mermaid, except far less graceful, as she has to flail and flap her newfound tail around until she makes it to deeper water. She's too busy trying to learn how to move around like this to even realize who's close by.]

[This event has given Regina a chance to spend some proper time with her son, even if it was a lie. She has no doubt that the truth will come out, if it hasn't already. But now, she's enjoying a nice, relaxing swim.

Not that relaxing is easy to come by when you're adjusting to an octopus bottom. When she'd tricked Ariel, she hadn't done much of the actual swimming part. But actually getting to do it now? Oh this is beautiful, she can avoid everything within the mansion and have some time to herself.

Of course, that hope comes crashing down when she sees Martha learning how to operate with a fishtail, and she can't help the laugh that bubbles out of her.]

Oh, dear. You're doing it all wrong.

25th ish?

Victoria spent his (her) first day being irritated. Magic always seemed to have that effect on him. But there was no reversing this spell as far as he knew, and until Emma pulled out another true love's kiss or something equally miraculous, it was likely he was stuck this way. So he did the next logical thing: he went with it. Why live in Wonderland if you didn't play the madness to your advantage now and then?

No one would even guess that the blonde woman in Wonderland was actually Doctor Whale.

Somehow, and she doesn't know how or why, Regina had found herself back in the gazebo. And once again in her male body, the spitting image of Lord Buckingham. It's not that bad, as far as events went in Regina's experience; mildly irritating and uncomfortable, but there was no danger of being aged into dust.

She's on her way back in from a walk in the gardens when she spies 'Victoria.'

Well, she doesn't look like herself and if she happens to offend the woman, it'll fall on Buckingham to pick up the pieces. Why not? With a smile, she makes her way over. "New to Wonderland?"
