[Open] This time, baby, I'll be bulletproof!
Who: Loki and EVERYONE
Where: Various (Library, Roof, Mansion, Garden, Kitchen)
When: 5/8-?
Rating: Gonna stick with Teen to be safe.
Summary: Pretty much a catch-all log for anyone who wanted Loki interaction.
The Story:
[Jane]
He'd be lying if he said he wasn't almost tired of everyone showing up all at once. Damn them all for waltzing in, stealing his proverbial thunder, and forcing him into a state of hiding! (Also, for throwing books at him. Yes, this is a thing that he's tired of as well.) He made a retreat for the roof. Hawkeye wasn't there at the moment, he knew that already, and he really needed a vantage point that was high enough for him to keep an eye out for any other offending Avengers. But as soon as he made it into the fresh, crisp, night air, he found he wasn't alone. And it was far too late to slink back into the shadows. Well. Damn again.
"You wouldn't happen to be armed with a book, would you? That seems to be the mortal woman's weapon of choice, as of late." Why yes, that tone is heavily swathed in sarcasm.
[IsaacAnd look, it's NOT PROSE for you]
[Loki isn't exactly one to break down and give in to mortal urges, but he felt it was about time to ingest something suitable for a change. So, a quick visit to the kitchen was in order. He... really doesn't know what he's doing, so he's just going to fumble about until he happens about something moderately edible and nutritious. He isn't expecting company in the middle of the night, but you never know...]
[Everyone Else]
[Prose or Bracketspam is fine. Feel free to bump into him anywhere and engage him in conversation. He doesn't have much of a routine, but he frequents the library, walks around at night in the garden, generally avoids Avengers and whatnot. Also feel free to assume he's in his Sif persona, because that's a thing he's been doing lately. If you wish for Sif, just mention her in your tag and I'll respond with her icons.
Another prompt could be mentioning/making fun of him for his Disney Sing-off with Captain America, or the like.]

But this... this is so calm, the whole moment almost ordinary even if he knows it's a feeling entirely misplaced. He doesn't know how to feel about it, if it should worry him more or less that Loki's acting this way - but it sure makes him more suspicious.
"I guess magic is something you're more used to than me," he says simply, the words almost casual, even if carefully chosen. The thought that right now he could try to get some information from Loki comes to him, and though he wants to ask, he only hesitantly looks up at the demigod, words at the tip of his tongue.

Still, he doesn't deter Banner from asking whatever is on his mind. He even seems exceptionally open to conversation at the moment. Maybe he'll get a truthful answer out of the trickster. At the very least, he'll get a partially true answer.
no subject
But it doesn't matter anyway, it's not like he'll get access to it, neither here nor back in his world. And right now he has other problems, more pressing issues than to think about tinkering with kinds of science he doesn't even have at his disposal. Though if he did, maybe it would go a long way in helping find a way back.
He doesn't know if Loki's calm attitude relaxes him or worries him further, but he takes it at least as a sign to try and ask a question or another, hopefully getting any information from it. "How... how long have you been here?"
no subject
The question posed of him gave him pause. He thought long and hard about just what the implications of the answer could do for his covers. So far, 'Sif' hadn't actually stated when Loki arrived, just that she hadn't seen him until his massively embarrassing network sing-along. Something he wishes never to revisit. He's also quite certain Rogers will even keep it under wraps for the sake of his own pride. So, he decides to answer truthfully.
"Thirty-two days to date." The answer was simple and accurate. Not that he'd been keeping track or anything. "Is my length of incarceration of some importance to you?" Because he really can't figure out what good it would do, other than sating curiosity.

He wasn't sure yet what made this place tick, but he knew that understanding it would definitely help in trying to find a way out of it. Or, even if they couldn't do that, they could at least try and predict how the events worked in this place, their timeline, anything to make their whole stay here more stable, more manageable.
He looked up at Loki then, finding some semblance of confidence in the fact that Loki didn't seem that interested in forcing the other guy out of him. The light provocation he could handle just fine, and if Loki changed his attitude, he could just find his way out of the library easily. Or so he hoped. "Can I ask you... were you in Asgard? When you were brought here, I mean."
Basically he wanted to know what point in time Loki was from, this just seemed like the most appropriate way to ask.

"No." The answer was simple and absolutely untrue. "I was in a realm known as Svartalfheim. Home to the Dark Elves, whom, by all rights, should have been extinct." Yes, well, Bor didn't do a very good job when it came to genocide, it would seem. As a matter of fact, the book had also said the Aether had been destroyed, and that was another untruth.
However, that answer should give Banner the time-frame he was looking for. The consistent time-frame he'd given all of the Avengers so far. "If this is to become an interview, would you not be more comfortable sitting?" Loki gestured to the tables situated about the library. "Unless, of course, you enjoy standing about with an arm full of literature."

The offer hung between in heavy silence for a moment. He couldn't deny he'd like to hear more, whatever Loki would be willing to share, but on the other hand it was clear that Bruce was far from comfortable around him. Still, after brief consideration he nodded calmly and made his way to the table, setting the books down, as he waited for Loki to take a seat, adding regardless. "If you don't mind."
no subject
"Of course." He followed Bruce to the table and took a seat, sitting with a dignified posture, motioning for Bruce to follow suit. He was sure the other didn't exactly wait for him out of knowledge of his royal status, but he just had to flaunt it a bit given the opportunity. "And what is it that you wish to know? We are in a place of learning and information. How appropriate." He smirked slightly, a bit amused with the outcome.

"This realm of the Dark Elves you mentioned," he couldn't remember the name, Loki had only briefly mentioned it in any case. "You got there through a rainbow bridge too? Do you remember if that's how you got brought here?"
no subject
He might be being helpful. Only because they have a similar goal in that respect. He wanted out of here as badly as the rest of them, even if he did claim all that awaits him is death on the other side. "I will provide, and you may extend this knowledge to the rest of your little team, whatever assistance you wish in the interest of escape. If it is my magic you require, I will lend it. My knowledge? That as well." And for once, he isn't lying. Does that tell you how badly he wants out of here? "In return for my cooperation, I ask only to obviously be included in our escape."
Loki's eyes narrowed slightly when he made that offer, because he wouldn't put it past any of them to use his skill and ditch him here while they left. What reason did they have to take him along? Again and again, he was to be used for his power then hung out to dry. Odin, Thanos, Thor, each to different degrees were guilty of it.

He looked him over quietly at the offer, for a long moment not even sure what to think of it, let alone how to answer. Bruce wasn't a liaison, he couldn't speak for the group - and neither did he want to. Yet, right now, as bizarre a situation as this may be, he was the one sitting across the table from Loki, of all things holding something weirdly akin to a civilized conversation.
"I'll keep it in mind. But you gotta know that it's not-- the others probably won't want you anywhere near." And with reason too. Fair enough, he hadn't done anything as massively insane as New York - yet -, and since more Avengers began showing up he'd been making sure to remain mostly silent, but he'd still had his encounter with Darcy, though Bruce couldn't speak much of that. All he knew was that she had used a taser on him, but he wasn't too familiar with the details that had led up to that. "Even if your magic or knowledge would be... useful, and I'm sure it could at some point, a good number of them aren't going to accept it."
Some of them might even prefer to remain stranded in here, rather than accept any help from the demigod.
no subject
"Oh, I have no doubt that they desire me as far away as possible in this little bubble of Hel." Bruce didn't want to agree to anything and Loki subtly found amusement in that. He'd put the man in an odd position. For the sake of keeping the peace on both sides, he couldn't make a decision. Even when he was being civil, Loki was enjoying being the cause of any form of strife, no matter how minute.
"Then, I suppose it all comes down to which of you would step off this rock if I opened a portal between realms. Perhaps, I will only alert yourself and Agent Romanoff, if such an event ever comes to pass. I'm sure I could predict who would show once you relay the information."
