[Open] This time, baby, I'll be bulletproof!
Who: Loki and EVERYONE
Where: Various (Library, Roof, Mansion, Garden, Kitchen)
When: 5/8-?
Rating: Gonna stick with Teen to be safe.
Summary: Pretty much a catch-all log for anyone who wanted Loki interaction.
The Story:
[Jane]
He'd be lying if he said he wasn't almost tired of everyone showing up all at once. Damn them all for waltzing in, stealing his proverbial thunder, and forcing him into a state of hiding! (Also, for throwing books at him. Yes, this is a thing that he's tired of as well.) He made a retreat for the roof. Hawkeye wasn't there at the moment, he knew that already, and he really needed a vantage point that was high enough for him to keep an eye out for any other offending Avengers. But as soon as he made it into the fresh, crisp, night air, he found he wasn't alone. And it was far too late to slink back into the shadows. Well. Damn again.
"You wouldn't happen to be armed with a book, would you? That seems to be the mortal woman's weapon of choice, as of late." Why yes, that tone is heavily swathed in sarcasm.
[IsaacAnd look, it's NOT PROSE for you]
[Loki isn't exactly one to break down and give in to mortal urges, but he felt it was about time to ingest something suitable for a change. So, a quick visit to the kitchen was in order. He... really doesn't know what he's doing, so he's just going to fumble about until he happens about something moderately edible and nutritious. He isn't expecting company in the middle of the night, but you never know...]
[Everyone Else]
[Prose or Bracketspam is fine. Feel free to bump into him anywhere and engage him in conversation. He doesn't have much of a routine, but he frequents the library, walks around at night in the garden, generally avoids Avengers and whatnot. Also feel free to assume he's in his Sif persona, because that's a thing he's been doing lately. If you wish for Sif, just mention her in your tag and I'll respond with her icons.
Another prompt could be mentioning/making fun of him for his Disney Sing-off with Captain America, or the like.]

As Loki worked, Hannibal rose from his chair to get a better view. Even as he did so, he was respectful to keep some distance between them. Like his dealings with Lucifer, Hannibal didn't quite believe but he also felt it was unwise to challenge fate and risk death. Just incase one of them was capable of crushing him.
"Amazing," he repeated in a slow breath. "The only 'magic' we have in my world are cheap tricks performed with trick cards or sleight of hand."
A finger touched against the curved side of the frozen tea. Some things he had to confirm for himself. What he said next wasn't intended to be flattery, merely a stating of what he believed in and found true in his own time.
"Your brother is a dullard then? That must be difficult for your family to bear."
Given what he had heard, Hannibal had placed it best in the context he understood. Only brutes resorted to force instead of something requiring intelligence, and they were usually the shame of their families. Those more intelligent and refined were credits.

He was such a showy being down to the very core of his nature. So he drank up the attention like a precious few drops of water on a parched tongue. His smile never faded, it only grew. And when Hannibal reached out to touch the tea, he simply hummed appreciatively because the man was more intelligent than most. Seeing wasn't always believing. He needed to confirm with all of his senses.
The demigod pushed his Jotun power back, struggling just a bit to keep from frosting over the vicinity as he reined it back in. As it was, the air temperature had already rapidly decreased around him and frost lingered.
When his brother was insulted, the grin took on a sharper, more dangerous sort of glee. "Quite so. Oh, but if only the others saw through him as I do. He is the first-born, and as such, will always be forgiven his ignorance. My intelligence tends to intimidate."
