Summary: Kaneki's Mirror is hungry.
The Story:
After crossing over, Kaneki's Mirror spends his time wandering the Mansion and the grounds, searching for the sword without bothering to study the riddle. If it's where he looks, great. If not, maybe there will be a person there instead. That would be much better than finding the sword.

It isn't that he isn't looking for the sword or that he's anything but loyal to the Queen. That's not it at all. It's just that Kaneki's Mirror is so so hungry and he has no qualms preying on anyone from either side of the mirror. They'll come back to life on this side of the glass, right? So there's no problem.

"Ghouls in your world are pretty pitiful, then." His kagune starts to stretch out from the right side of his back. "In the world the other me came from, ghouls are the top of the food chain."

"You don't say."

Blue eyes watched as whatever it was that he was summoning came out. She didn't back off and instead held her ground. She wasn't sure she could defeat him yet but as long as he didn't touch her she wouldn't hurt him.

"Your face reminds me of a boy I promised to protect. I do not want to hurt you."

"That's fine. You wouldn't be able to anyway."

Kaneki's kagune lashes behind him. He decides to give her the same deal he's offered most of his other victims.

"I don't have to kill you. Just let me eat a little, and I'll go on my way."

"How about you go on your way before you do something you will regret."

If he thought Integra was going to let him scare her, he was dead wrong. Her hand hadn't gone to her sword yet. That's how assured she was.

"Why would I regret something that's in my nature?"

The three arms of his kagune plunge toward her.

She doesn't hesitate and instead rushing forward dodging those arms. He was quite the strange creature, she hadn't fought something quite like him but she knew everything had a weakness. She just had to find his.

"You're not cooperating, boy." She didn't rush at him. Instead she reached for her gun and aimed shooting several rounds in his direction.

Kaneki's kagune curls back around to shield him from the bullets. It isn't necessary, but it is instinctive. The bullets clatter on the floor, the tips flattened by the impact with his kagune.

Since she isn't coming to him, he shifts his weight and rushes her instead. His knowledge of hand to hand combat is at a beginning level, and that's clear from his movements, but his speed and strength are greater than a normal human's and he relies more on those than on technique.
