Open Bar Post for the duration of the event
Who: Anyone!
Where: The temporarily-relocated bar, now in a 1st floor tea room until the fifth floor becomes inhabitable again.
When: The duration of the event
Rating: ???
Summary: With the fifth floor being overrun by Silent Hill shenanigans and weird unfortunate afflictions, the bar staff has temporarily relocated to the first floor until they can return upstairs. Unfortunately, they're still cursed by the unfortunate truth-telling side effects. Drink and Tell at your own risk.
The Story:
The bar has weathered a lot of events in Wonderland, and will no doubt weather a lot more, but between the recent string of murders (Thanks, Dean Winchester) and the current vivid atmosphere on the fifth floor, everyone had agreed that finding somewhere a little less terrifying to get drunk was a requirement until things got sorted and back to normal.
Of course, moving locales doesn't seem to free them from the new geas of truth-telling that's seemed to invade anywhere in the mansion that nourishment is offered. That's not enough for them to close their doors, though. In fact, Simon's all for this, because he thinks it could provide some prettyamusing interesting revelations. And as he is the one most visible in the bar for the next few days, he could use some of that. Jo's still recovering from her attack and he might still be over-protectively fussing just a little.
He's his typical welcoming self to anyone who wanders in for some alcohol, however, always ready with a drink and likely some inappropriate humor. Delve into deep truths at your own risk, however.

OTA
He had people to protect. He was damn well going to protect them. Dean had hurt Jo, had threatened him and Simon, had killed people. While Sam wasn't necessarily planning to hunt him down, he wasn't going to wait around doing nothing either.
It's an unspoken agreement that they're all sticking close to each other for now, and Sam has set himself up in the bar for the moment. Jo taught him how to draw a demon trap and he's practicing it now, drawing it over and over again on pieces of paper until he can do it flawlessly without thinking about it.
He won't let people be hurt again. He won't let himself be hurt again. Van Ark, Moonchild, or Dean Winchester. He won't just lie down and die.

"You look... busy."
no subject
"Yeah. I'm just trying to be prepared."

"We've talked a couple of times. Including a little before I got your message about Jo."
no subject
"Did he hurt you?"

He'd come down to the bar to see if Simon knew where he was and instead found who he was looking for. "Hey." He said quietly sliding into a chair next to his friend.
no subject
Sam didn't want people to get hurt because of him.
"Hey," he replies when Billy sits down next to him. "You don't normally come to the bar."

"Oh, these are pretty good. Are you practicing?"
no subject
"Yeah!" Talking about the sigils is an easier topic. "Jo showed me how to draw them so I'm trying to get them perfect. They're devil's traps."
no subject
"Why are you drawing devil's traps."
no subject
...he really hadn't meant to say that much, and his eyes go wide at the admission.
"Because there's a demon who wants to kill me and Jo and Simon." He winced when it came out of his mouth, and then sat back, looking thoroughly defeated.

She knows better than to wander at the moment, but she has a more specific destination in mind today, anyway. It's well within her rights as proprietress to look in on the relocated bar, she thinks, and seeing Sam upon entering, sitting there and practicing his devil's traps, makes her equal parts proud and concerned. Good that he's taking initiative and making sure he gets it right-- bad that he has to practice it at all.
"Hey," she greets him, sliding into the seat opposite him at the table he's occupying. "You'll have those memorized pretty soon. It'll be like second nature."
no subject
He smiles though when she shows up, tired but a little more relaxed now that he can see that she's okay.
"Yeah, I guess I learn quickly when I have to. How are you doing?"
no subject
It was mostly the latter. The bar was well-stocked to defend against demons and other creatures most of the time anyway, but it seemed even more important now.
"Looks like Simon and Cami have things under control. Not that I love the idea of Dean catching either one of them here-- or you, for that matter."
no subject
Or maybe there were just too many people around at the bar even for a demon to want to take on. He didn't know much about demons honestly.
Sam shrugged, looking a little guilty. "I'm not really the one he's got a grudge against. Much." It was Jo he was really worried about.
no subject
"I'm working with Sam and Cas to find a way to fix this. Dean probably won't love that, and there's-- there are other reasons he might be pissed." Residual anger or resentment, maybe, that had resurfaced now that he was without his humanity, but she doesn't want to think about that any more than she has to.
no subject
He grimaces at the mention of Castiel, not quick enough to suppress it. He knows it isn't the Angel's fault, but he's not someone Sam feels comfortable hanging around. "I don't think he loves anything right now. Hopefully they'll be able to help though."
no subject
"He'll remember that." She presses her lips together, having been worrying at the lower with her teeth. "And-- yeah. That's exactly what I was afraid of. Him threatening Simon, or other friends. He's not afraid to play dirty." And Jo was not only close to Dean on his better days, but she was a dedicated part of Team Demon Cure. That had the potential to draw his ire in a big way.
"If we can get what we need, we can stop him. It won't be easy, but we have to do it."
no subject
He looked up at her tiredly. "What do you need? Can I help?"
