Summary: The Bar is open and scrambling to keep up with the sudden unexpected flood of new visitors. Stop by for a drink or a game or just some interesting company.
The Story:

The bar is always one of the popular places in the Mansion, mostly because it's such a big coping mechanism for the people stuck here - or at least a necessary stop for new arrivals who are still coming to terms with the fact that they've just been kidnapped into a pocket universe based on a children's fairy tale. And that there are other worlds out there much weirder than the one they came from.

Although it's not always the alcohol that draws people in. Sometimes it's just the atmosphere, or the promise of interesting information and gossip. Sometimes it's just to get 'out' as much as one can in Wonderland.

Whatever the reason, the Bar's three bartenders are here to happily serve, or you can help yourself to the stock and closet supply. Jo, Simon and Cami will all be around - and might even be pulling in some emergency help when the number of newcomers keeps growing exponentially.

Feel free to pull up a stool and have a drink!

[ OOC Note: Feel free to drop your characters in for a top-level of their own if they want to hang out here for a while. The bartenders may or may not hit up random threads that get dropped into their bar as well. Let us know if you'd like someone specific! ]

[ Simon's an almost constant presence at the Bar, especially this week when they've found themselves so unexpectedly busy with new faces. As one of the permanent Bartenders, he's almost constantly on hand during the days of all the parties, usually parked behind the bar to mix drinks or take orders, or maybe just to lean on the bar and strike up a casual conversation when the opportunity presents itself.

Either way, he's cheerfully friendly and happy to pause and answer some questions or chat up new friends that show up to park at the bar for a while. ]

[As one, rather grumpy looking Rose, slides onto a stool in front of the bar. Sitting away from the many new (to her at least) faces who seem to have flocked to the closest source of served alcohol.]

[ It's never unusual to see Isabela in the bar but today she holds up two fingers when she sees Simon pouring her a drink. It feels like she's going to need it. ]

This place seems to have produced another mansion overnight and an influx of confused visitors.

[Because why just say there's a bunch of confused and awkward people wandering around when you can give it the Kenzi flair.]

[ Most of the people here have been friendly enough. Probably due to that 'we're all in this together' mentality. Makes sense. And she's used to that feeling from back home. Andrea isn't often separated from Michonne these days, but tonight, she's enjoying some time at the bar, more than happy to engage the friendly bartender in conversation. ]

[ Ron doesn't know what this place is. He woke up in an empty room, no Diane, no kids. He'd set off to find them, and had instead a brochure on this place. Wonderland. Ridiculous. He knows about Wonderland (only thanks to the kids, only because of the kids), and it's nothing like this.

Slowly, he starts to realize that Diane, Zoey, and Ivy aren't here. That none of the people he knows are here. Wherever he is, whatever this place is, he's here alone.

It isn't as fun as being alone back in Pawnee.

His wandering brings him to a bar, and that's when Ron decides on one of two plans, both of which start in the bar. He will drink whiskey until he can get back home, or he will drink until he can come up with a better plan.

This is a good plan. ]

[and just when Ron thought his day couldn't get any better, if he turns to the left, he will see (1) raccoon climbing up onto a stool beside him.]

[ cordelia isn't really here to drink, but she's been wandering from room to room on a mission to try to figure out what the heck is going on. the sudden overpopulation hasn't escaped her notice, and angel is nowhere to be found - probably because these are his sleeping hours. she finally exhales a frustrated sound and fixes her stare on the nearby stranger, as if he is somehow responsible for all this. ] Was there some kind of Wonderland Blue Light Special no one bothered to mention?

Ron! [Ben's been wandering around awestruck for the past few hours, but he's still made his way to the bar eventually. It doesn't matter how many of his favorite characters he meets. He still needs a drink to deal with all of this.]

At least he thinks he's here because Tom can't ever be sure what exactly is real but the ground is solid beneath his feet and brass of the door handle to the bar gives when he pushes and there are people. Voices. Everywhere. People he can see and touch and the voices are coming from them and not from his head and that-

That's gotta mean something, right?

It's foggy, coming back in bits and pieces, Christmas.. a war.. a great, terrible monster with teeth and claws that they couldn't stop from a future that hadn't happened yet but they all knew it eventually would. He'd sent men to their deaths and told no one. He'd married a woman he loves only to fall back into The Before and have nothing to show for it but a ring and a photograph he didn't really understand and then he was too sick to do anything. That he was too frightened to recognize outside the illness consuming him and then all of a sudden it was nothing and everything and he was back in Harmony.

Harmony, home, where where he girl he'd left behind pulled the trigger. Harmony where he'd done so much wrong and then, like nothing, he's back here not knowing if any of it's real or if going back was real and maybe he'd been in the bottom of this mansion in a cell made for his own protection all this time and he isn't standing in the bar but rather he's just dreaming of freedom.

He should run, he thinks. He should run and put himself back behind bars before anyone else can get hurt. Before anyone notices. Even if he'd dreaming, it isn't fair to them. It isn't fair to himself to long for a freedom he knows isn't right and yet here he still is pushing forward the doors and entering quietly.

No one screams. No one rises from their seat to pull their weapon, it's almost like he's just.. some guy. That's what seems the most unfamiliar, the biggest reason he is now sure this isn't actually happening. The faces look familiar but not really. He looks for Blake and doesn't see him. He looks for Dean and doesn't see him, hell- even Sam of Crowley or Jo--

And that's where he stops himself because the pain of her name hurts too damn badly. It's paralyzing and he stops, ten feet into the bar, eyes falling to his feet, hands nervously clenching before shoving themselves into his hoodie pockets-- that same green hoodie he's lived this whole life in. There's a hole in the side of it from a gunshot but no wound to accompany because what fun is a party guest who's bleeding out all over the floor.

So he just stands there, unsure what to do but positive Jo is going to come around the bar any minute and grab the shotgun he knows is just under the beer taps.

It's almost too much to step to the side and get out of the central gangway as people come and go. If he's in your way, you'll have to move him. He might startle and bolt. Or he might be coaxed to sit down like a normal human being, but he won't approach the bar himself. Instead, like a genius, he stands there like a deer in headlights needing someone to sit his stupid ass down before he bolts and makes a mess of himself somewhere else.

Waking up from the worlds most disturbing dream to find that Wonderland had been overrun by a hoard of new people was enough to drive anyone to drink and Rose wasn't about to be the exception to that rule. There was something so completely unsettling about the timing of the new additions and the star of her dreamscape that a drink felt like the only thing that could even her out.

Not making eye contact with many people as she dodged and weaved around the unfamiliar patrons. She didn't stop long enough to really look at the guy blocking the way, merely lit up at the familiarity of his profile as she moved towards him, nudging him in the side

"I've decided now's a good time to take you up on that drink you owe me."

Ed hasn't seen as many familiar faces as he was hoping for, which was... disquieting. He knew that people could be sent home from Wonderland at any time. Hell, he was proof of that. Still, it doesn't keep him for looking for familiar faces and being disappointed when he doesn't find them.


His feet carry him on a familiar path, bringing him to the bar. There were a couple of people who were new to him behind it, but there was one he did know and he gives her a sunny smile as he sits on the bar stool across from her. "Hey, Jo. I seem to be back."

Section for everybody not Jo:
Ed could be found at the bar at random times, nursing drinks and keeping an eye out for people he knew. A task complicated by the mirrors going missing, but he couldn't have everything. At least his own Mirror seems to have disappeared when he did and hasn't come back. Saves him from telling people it was best to shoot the asshole on sight.

Clay Morrow | Sons of Anarchy | OTA

Once Clay determines he hasn't been drugged and tripped his balls right out, he books it out the front door and away. Except he can't get away, and this clearly isn't even California, and as far as he remembers the last place he was was passed out on a couch in the clubhouse.

After he gets the lowdown, and reads all the brochures- like it's a cute little vacation and not the craziest goddamn thing he's ever been though- he makes it his mission to find booze. Because fuck, if he's going to be stuck in a fairy tale mansion, he's not going to do it sober.]

[Clay will learn that no one in the entire camp will be able to blame him. They've all been there and done that and most of them ended up in the bar as well. For drinking, yes, but it's the biggest social hub of Wonderland. The bar is where most deals go down, good and bad alike. The woman who runs the bar makes a mean sandwich and pours a hell of a shot so there's no reason not to.

Especially when there's a batshit crazy event coming. At first Raleigh was trying to keep on top of things but at this point he really doesn't care anymore. Keep sharp. Keep ready. Fine. But he can have a beer and do that as well.

The bar seems safe to him and this here is an event coming so you can bet he's making his way there for what seems to be a monthly 'Drink and wait to see what bullshit happens next' adventure.

He'll just ease around this big guy towards the bar, hand briefly on Clay's shoulder to ease past without bumping him. It's getting busy in here. Something is definitely happening.]

The bar was one place that she was sure her real counterpart wouldn't go, so Elizabeth heads straight for it, not wanting to inadvertently run into her, not yet. She sits at a stool with one arm propped on the bar top, sipping a dry martini and watching people come and go over the rim of the glass. Whenever she spots someone who piques her interest, she offers them her most dazzling smile, and though she intends it to seem friendly it looks somewhere between sultry and as though she's sizing up prey.

"You wouldn't let a girl drink alone, would you?"

[Regardless of where Elizabeth is looking, the answering voice won't be from any of the gentlemen in front of her. Despite the sound quality coming out clear as day, its origins are not so apparent. Should the lass look, she'll note it seeping from her newly acquired network device; though if that is the only place it came from, one wonders how she knew to look for it in the first place...]

"YOU KNOW, the ORIGIN of SMILING for MOST SPECIES comes from the DESIRE to BARE THEIR TEETH in AGGRESSIVE DOMINANCE."

[It's not a history lesson or a question, he is suggesting she does in fact know this. How else could such a damsel look so demure and so dangerous at the same time? If she is like any of the other mirrors he has encountered, Bill is willing to bet there is far more to her than meets the eye. The voice chuckles mildly as Elizabeth's invitation goes ignored.]

"Think they might be AFRAID of your BITE?"

[so Rocket has a pretty low tolerance for people in general, and while Wonderland is a big place and full of people, he's gotten used to that. now there's almost double that number here, and he's annoyed.

And when he's annoyed and ready for a fight, he usually heads to the bar to drink the last of his willpower to not pick fights away.

As such and much to Jo and Simon's chagrin, he is currently standing on the bar, half-full glass in hand, drukenly making a speech.]

Awright newbies, listen up. I don't know where you came from or why you're here or if you're gonna leave, but let's just... let's just say you ain't. WELcome to WonderHELL, the newest in maximum security, flarkin' impossible to break out of, demented as flark prisons in the whole d'ast universe.

[Look who walks in during the middle of that spectacular address. The least surprised by the whole, talking Raccoon thing as she leans against the bar and with a casual wave of her hand. Signals for a drink.]

I used to be a prison warden. [The smallest of smirks playing across her lips.]

Wherever there are three walls, and people slowly become aware of a fourth. Wherever that wall gets smashed in, as if with a giant hammer or something, and most importantly, wherever there is booze waiting, that is where I'll be.

[Is Deadpool aware he's narrating as he walks into the bar? It's questionable. But a bit besides the point. He slings himself onto a stool and calls out:]

BARKEEP! A flagon of your most questionable and cheapest ale! Daddy's wants to get CRUNK tonight!

[He settles down and adds, as an aside.]

Not that I can actually get drunk. The same experiment that gave me my sweet healing powers and broke my brain made my liver heal way too quickly for booze to really do anything. But it's sure fun to try and get there anyway, right?

[A beat.]

...are my yellow boxes broken again?

[ The figure that wanders into his bar today is enough to give even Simon pause as he blinks in a sort of stupefied fascination at the man talking to himself (maybe?) before he sits down at his bar. Considering he's the only one working at the moment, he wanders over. ]

All the ale is cheap, technically, since it's free. Although you might have to forgo the flagons. Will a glass do?

[ I think it's not just your yellow boxes you have to worry about being broken here. ]

Cruella DeVil| OTA

[ Thank God (well, not really, but the sentiment remains) there's a bar. It's the first place she sniffs out, though she can't say this unexpected field trip away from the Underworld isn't welcome. Only that now it's made even better than it was before. She is, of course, in a fabulous fur, tight leather pants, a black top, and with that signature hair. She's flawless, honestly.

Sitting at the bar, she's had enough gin, at this point, for anyone to be concerned, but is amazingly still sitting up straight and speaking clearly. ]

Darling, tell me. Is there any way I could convince you to make that martini more of a...gin?

[ in other words, will someone please get her the gin and just keep it coming? She asks this without even looking to see who might be next to or around her. ]

[Regina sees her the second she walks into the bar. For a moment or two, she debates turning around and leaving before Cruella sees her but, well... At least she can gloat about making it out of the Underworld while the DeVil is still down there.]

I thought I smelled the unique combination of dog and liquor that follows you around. [A thin smile.] Cruella.

Elijah Mikaelson | The Originals | OTA

At first Elijah doesn't know what to think. He's back though. Returned to Wonderland. What he remembers from home is simple. Going to greet Hayley in the woods. Her telling him that Hope needs him. That Klaus can't be all that she knows as she grows up. It breaks Elijah's heart that she's like this. That his brother did it. He told Niklaus that he would no longer be by his side before the battle and he meant it. It's difficult to be here after everything that happened back home. After Dahlia. After their mother. After their father. After Kol. It all leaves a sour taste in Elijah's mouth.

When he first arrived in Wonderland he was clueless as to what his history was. Didn't know what his mother had done. Didn't know what a monster he truly was. He's lived through all of it now. The lies. The truths. The backstabbing attempts. The successes. The loss of his brothers all over again. The issues with Rebekah. It all makes Elijah angry. More angry as he thinks about it. Even the loss of Gia. The loss of Hayley. He can't control that now though. He has to remember. This is Wonderland. He has absolutely no control here.

It's been some time since he's been inside this bar. He's fairly certain the last time he was in here was with Charlie. That seems like a whole nother lifetime ago. He's reminded of who owns it. Jo and Simon. For once it doesn't strike any chords inside him. Time and the absent memories has healed those wounds. All that remains are the ones left by his brother. His selfish brother who claims foolish notions to hide his actions behind. Elijah will never believe him.

He'll order a drink or two and nurse them at a corner table. Memories of this place dance through his head. His father's arrival. The fight he had with Niklaus in the kitchen over his relationship with Jo. His father kidnapping his sister and Elijah as well. Dean Winchester daggering him and burying him in the woods for his family to find. It all runs through his head like a bad play.

In some ways, it seemed like only a matter of time before Elijah showed up. She, Freya, and Klaus were all here now and where they went Elijah tended to follow. She knows he had been here before, but she doesn't remember it. Just like she knows she's been here before and she doesn't remember it either. When Hayley took her the dagger out of her back home she had been working too hard to try to save Klaus from Marcel's wrath to see her other siblings much. The last time she saw Elijah was when she asked him to dagger her during their Christmas celebrations to stop the curse.

Well, she supposes she saw him briefly in the little dreamworld Freya had created for them, but that was different. Not to mention if Elijah does show up there a possibility he won't remember any of that. Elena is here and still human, time is strange here.

Rebekah spends a lot of time in the bar generally because she's a Mikaelson and she drinks alcohol like she needs it to live. But when she spots her brother at a corner table she practically rushes over to greet him, a bright smile on her lips at the sight of him.

"Elijah!"

Wonderland. The name makes Bruce deeply uncomfortable. Then again, there's a criminal in Gotham who calls himself the Mad Hatter so can anyone completely blame him? He also doesn't like situations where he isn't in control and this? This is the definition of a situation he can't control. He's sitting in a suit that's probably a little too nice for a bar like this, but he had been going to meet Amanda Waller at a very nice restaurant before he ended up here.

So much for that.

Eventually he's going to start investigating and looking for answers. Ever the detective, after all. But for now he's going to nurse a few whiskeys here at the bar because healthy coping mechanisms are for losers.

[ cordelia is sitting down from him, holding one of the party invites in her hand and twisting it back and forth as she mulls it over. she's not one to ever turn down a party - but the army of newbies is sending up some strange red flags.

she glances over at mr. chiseled jaw over there, before speaking up abruptly. ] Did you get one of these?

perhaps that's why he seems to be taking it in stride, by searching out old comforts, winding his way to the bar and gambling on drinking some whiskey in a mysterious dimension. if he's going to figure out what's going on here, he'll be damned if he's going to have to do it sober. ]

[ It's so nice to have someone wander in who's not looking like this is the end of the world. Simon glances up at a familiar accent, breaking into a smile as he pauses in his work to greet the newcomer. ]

[When your room happens to be staggering distance from the bar and you find your weird, Wonderland kidnapping invaded by unexpected and in one case at least, not entirely welcome people from home? Even someone like Rose, who really doesn't consider herself to be much of a drinker is going to be spending a fair amount of time parked on a stool in this place.

At first she's under the misconception that it's a way for her to get away from everyone. Until she realizes that there's a strong link between being kidnapped and the consumption of copious amounts of alcohol in Wonderland. No matter how busy it is however, there's at least an excellent chance that if you spend a lot of time here over the next week? Rose's is a face that will become familiar to you.

Just, don't make the fatal mistake of sneaking up on her okay. What she lacks in impulse control, she makes up for in violent tendencies.]

[ roy is uh... simmering in his usual rage down the length of the bar from her, trying desperately to get the attention of a bartender, and by desperately, i mean kind of awkwardly with little hand signals that are getting entirely ignored. when her glass gets set down in front of her, he snorts loud enough for her to hear before yelling after the server: ] That's sexism, my friend.

[ There's a dwarf in the bar.

Okay, maybe that's not so unusual where he comes from, but it's not exactly a common sight in Wonderland. Of course, the bar is the very first place Varric seeks out when he finds himself in a strange place among unfamiliar people. If he's going to find out anything about this unexpected turn of events, it'll be at the local tavern.

Which is why he's perched at a table in the middle of the room, a large pint of ale by his elbow and a deck of Wicked Grace cards nearby. A complicated-looking crossbow is propped up on the chair to his left. He's happy to strike up a conversation with people wandering nearby, offering up a chair to anyone who looks as out of place as he felt upon arriving, or who looks like they might be more comfortable with the place and can answer some questions for him.

He'd offer to buy you a drink, but... well. That looks like it won't be necessary. ]

It had taken a fair bit of dodging, weaving and generally shoving his way through the crowd but Hawke had finally made his way to the bar, only to come to a complete stop when he caught sight of that familiar face.]

[He rushes forward, pulling Varric out of his chair and into a twirling hug with no care whatsoever for the fact he's definitely pissing Varric off.]

[Mazikeen was one of Hell's most decorated torturers. Lucifer's right hand Demon, if you will. She'd followed him through the very gates of Hell to the City of Angels and now...

She was in a bar in Wonderland with a glass of Whiskey and a look of complete disdain on her face.]

[As he casually slides into the seat beside her with a smug ass look on his face as he glances over at her. He'd been wondering if she'd show up during this debacle.]

Hello, Maze. It's nice of you to finally show up.

Cami O'Connell | Resident | OTA

[What could be more fun than a massive influx of captives to the fairytale realm? Making sure that all of them have full glasses of booze. Needless to say, there's something of an all-hands-on-deck situation going on behind the bar, and Cami's willing enough to pull her weight. It gives her an opportunity to give the welcome speech as needed, or offer sympathy to the newly arrived.

So she keeps up a smile, despite the often frantic pace; really, it's not all that different from a particularly festive day back home, save for the fact that there's a little less reason for cheer. In some ways, the experience is what she loves most about bartending itself, and why she's kept it up in a place where she's free from rent and student loans.]
