Summary: The Bar is open and scrambling to keep up with the sudden unexpected flood of new visitors. Stop by for a drink or a game or just some interesting company.
The Story:

The bar is always one of the popular places in the Mansion, mostly because it's such a big coping mechanism for the people stuck here - or at least a necessary stop for new arrivals who are still coming to terms with the fact that they've just been kidnapped into a pocket universe based on a children's fairy tale. And that there are other worlds out there much weirder than the one they came from.

Although it's not always the alcohol that draws people in. Sometimes it's just the atmosphere, or the promise of interesting information and gossip. Sometimes it's just to get 'out' as much as one can in Wonderland.

Whatever the reason, the Bar's three bartenders are here to happily serve, or you can help yourself to the stock and closet supply. Jo, Simon and Cami will all be around - and might even be pulling in some emergency help when the number of newcomers keeps growing exponentially.

Feel free to pull up a stool and have a drink!

[ Simon obligingly pours her a second drink to go with the first, not even batting an eye at the request. ]

Yeeeeah, don't look at me. [ His tone is wry as he lifts his hands in an gesture of cluelessness. ] I have no idea what's going on either. I've never seen Wonderland do this before.

[ Exactly what she loves in a bartender. She quirks her lips up at him in a grateful smile. ]

Everything Wonderland does is something we haven't seen before. [ She downs her first drink quickly, taking her time and nursing the second. ]

See anyone new you know yet?

[ He grins, already starting to count Isabela as one of their new staples in the bar. He's okay with it, she's pretty fun. ]

God no. And I hope it stays that way. Even though the people where I come from could probably benefit in a place like this. I'm just not in that much of a rush to run into any of them.

[ Some of them even less than others. ]

I have spotted a couple familiar faces that were here before and left, though. Does that count?

[ Of course she's fun. The most fun.

She lifts an eyebrow at him curiously. ]

No? No one you miss?

[ It usually the opposite, people tend to want the people they love to end up here with them, even if they won't admit it aloud. Having company here helps sometimes. ]

I'll give you that. Are they confused or do they remember?

Nah, lets just say I pretty much burned all my bridges before Wonderland picked me for an extended vacation.

[ Or he nearly had. He knows he will. Everyone else that's shown up has come from far enough ahead of him to let him know he's right, pretty much. Even if Sam still sticks around, but that's Sam. He's a bit masochistic. ]

One or two are confused, but a surprising number remember. Which is odd in itself. Wonderland's never brought people back with memories before, not with how long they've been gone.

[ She nodded. She knew a thing or two about burning bridges. If Hawke hadn't been from before her back home than he might now have been so happy to see her when she arrived. Anders as well. Luckily none of them knew what she's done yet. She didn't think.

She picked up her glass and tilted it towards him.] Well, here's to burning bridges back home. [ She shot him a smirk before downing the rest of the drink. ]

Wonderland never seems to do what we expect it to.

Well, being predictable is so tacky, darling. Not to mention boring.

[ He smirks as she downs her drink, already ready to refill it for her when the glass is set back on the bar. ]

Ah, a man after my own heart. No one wants to be boring. Though I'm not sure this place can be counted as boring. At least not lately. Have you checked out that new mansion that popped up?

[ She will gladly take that refill. ]

[ He snorts and waves a hand at the very full bar around them. ]

Not yet. We've had an unexpected influx of business.

Well, as they say, no rest for the wicked. I'm half wondering if a friend of mine is going to show up. This would be the first place he would come for answers or just to drink and challenge someone to a card game and tell a good story.

[ Varric is afterall probably the only person she would admit to missing from back home. And Merrill. ]

Well, then he sounds like he'd fit right in. Anyone I should keep an eye out for?

Well he's a dwarf, goes by the name Varric and he doesn't stop talking. He might have a lovely crossbow with him that he calls Bianca and is more attached to than is probably healthy.

Hey, some of us get very attached to the weapons that continually save our lives. [ Not that he'd named his bat, per say, but he's met a few people who've done similar. ]

But a very talkative dwarf named Varric. Got it. I'll keep an eye out.
