[OPEN/PARTY POST] And when you all get shot and try to carry on;
Who: Anyone and everyone who is already a participant or wishes to join the Wonderland resistance! That means you. Yes, you. Get in here!
Where: Fort Dixon-Potter
When: Sunday, 6/15, 9:00 PM and onwards.
Rating: PG by default.
Summary:
The Story:
Sometime before nine o'clock rolls around, those who know their way begin heading towards the resistance hideout in the woods -- or Fort Dixon-Potter, as its come to be known. To any who have been invited to attend but don't quite know how to get there, Daryl Dixon has made himself available to escort people to the meeting, letting people in a few at a time.
Though the resistance's de facto leader is no longer with them, several veteran members have chosen to make use of their resources and bring as many more people into the fold as they can. There's food provided for all who attend: burgers, hot dogs, and other standard cookout fare to be passed around throughout the evening. Notebooks will be handed to all new members, and all will be asked to sign their names on the official roster, for reasons. It's time to discuss how to move forward with Operation: Anti-Jabberwocky. If anyone has questions about the last eight months or so in Wonderland? Now is the time to ask.
((OOC: This log is the follow-up to this post concerning re-organizing the resistance. If you're looking for the full OOC rundown of what the resistance is and how you can use it as a tool ingame, please see the information provided here and here! Feel free to use any of the subthreads below, or start top-levels for your characters as you see fit!))

Well you certainly look pleased with yourself.

[ His smile turns a little more amused as he nods at her. ]
Name's Crowley.
no subject
[Her lips quirk into a smirk, humor in green eyes as she inclines her head in return.]
Natasha. A pleasure, Crowley.
no subject
[ Not that he knows any of those. ]
So what sort of world are you from? Elves and dwarves or Borg and Klingons?
no subject
Well, let's hope not. Flannel is terribly tacky.
None of those, I'm afraid. At least, not that I'm aware of. More Norse gods and people with too much of a hero complex and not enough sense. [A pause, because that thing in Greenwich was still a bit of a mystery to her.] Okay, maybe an elf or two, but that's still up for debate, last I checked.
no subject
[ His smile grows into a slow, lazy grin. ]
Demons and vampires, too. No elves, though. Just angels. Equally ridiculous in the long run.
no subject
[Natasha casts him a sideways glance, still smiling, especially at the tone of voice he uses to explain.]
Are they? Although I've been informed they're sadly not the half-naked little cherub kind, so I'll have to take your word for it.
no subject
Ask that fellow if you can see a half-naked angel later. I'm sure he'll be happy to oblige.
no subject
Him?
[Her tone's a little incredulous.]
no subject
[ The skin around his eyes crinkles as his grin turns just a little more friendly--a little more charming, in his estimation, because so much of his manner, even casual, is calculated when it can be. ]
Now, if you want to see a half-naked demon, you need only ask.
[ He holds up his arms. ]
no subject
[I's an easy confession as she shakes her head, still dealing with that surprise of a revelation, but then he tacks that on and she turns to give him an intently assessing look.
The she purposefully takes a half-step to his side and peers around behind him.]
No horns or a forked tail. I feel betrayed.
no subject
[ He grins and gives her an easy shrug, entirely missing the irony of his next question. ]
I like to be up front. Honesty's an important virtue, don't you agree?
no subject
[She returns his grin with a coy smile, amused and entertained by him.]
Then again, honesty is usually very open to interpretation. It also doesn't sound like a very demon-like thing to deal in. Isn't it supposed to be the fae who can't tell a lie?
no subject
[ Sure, they tend to be a little bendy and she's really hit the nail on the head with her interpretation comment, but Crowley's never been one to nitpick unless the nitpicking works in his favor. ]
I wouldn't trust any sort of fairy as far as you can throw it, though.
no subject
[That possibly amuses her more than the demon bit.]
How far can you throw a fairy exactly? I haven't encountered all that many, back where I'm from.
no subject
You can't push a good product if there's no trust between seller and buyer. The last thing you want is some slimy used car salesman pushing his wares your way.
no subject
[Possibly a little all too well.]
So does that make the pair of you mortal enemies or something?
no subject
[ No, Crowley is much different. ]
no subject
What do you respect then?
no subject
[ It's an easy answer, but it's loaded, because there are so many ways to define intelligence. Is it by books or by scraping by or playing the system better than anyone else? Maybe it's all of the above. ]
Why? What do you respect?
