Summary: The Red Queen has thrown a carnival for everyone!
The Story:


From Friday, March 9, through Friday, March 16, the gardens and grounds of the Mansion will be a sprawling a carnival. The masked, unspeaking vendors will be selling trinkets and running free game booths. Carnival rides, exhibits, and foods represent all of the various cultures of those currently residing in the Mansion.


Of particular note, and perhaps incongruously, everything is decorated with red hearts.

[Asriel seems to be wandering around lost, not really certain of where he's headed when an unfamiliar hand plops down unexpectedly on top of his head.

Glancing up, he'd be met with a tall woman, an elf if the pointed ears meant anything to him, her long hair pulled off to the side in an elaborate braid.]

Hey, kid. Are you lookin' for someone? You seem a little lost.

[pleasereset]

[The hand suddenly landing on his hand accidentally gets his fur to fluff up - just a little. It's a startled reaction, and he looks up to see someone he assumes is human. He hasn't really been around enough humans to know the difference between human and elf.]

Oh um... not really. I just wasn't sure what I wanted to try first.

[restinglichface]

[That floof up of fur at least manages to drag a smile onto the elf's lips, her whole expression brightening.]

Oh yeah? I was thinkin' of givin' one of the rides a try. Wanna go with?

[pleasereset]

[He looks a little embarrassed as his fur settles back down. While he hasn't really been all that enthusiastic about trying any of the rides here, maybe he'd enjoy it more if he went with someone.]

Umm, sure, that sounds great! Which one do you want to go on?

[Normally Lup would be all about that crazy ride life, but she doesn't want to try dragging the kid of anything he isn't tall enough to ride. So after a quick peek around the mansion grounds--]

Hey, what about the merry-go-round? That's pretty fun. Give us a chance to plan for what we wanna do after.

[To be fair, he's not sure if he's ready for something as exciting as a roller coaster... even if they do look fast... and cool...]

Okay, we can do that one first!

[He'll let Lup lead the way to the merry-go-round. He... probably should find out more about this person he's gonna be riding rides with.]

So um... which animal are you gonna pick?

[They are pretty cool, kid. You know you want to get in on the fun riding one of those.]

Somethin' cool. Like a lion or a super beefy bear. What're you thinkin'?
