Summary: The Red Queen has thrown a carnival for everyone!
The Story:


From Friday, March 9, through Friday, March 16, the gardens and grounds of the Mansion will be a sprawling a carnival. The masked, unspeaking vendors will be selling trinkets and running free game booths. Carnival rides, exhibits, and foods represent all of the various cultures of those currently residing in the Mansion.


Of particular note, and perhaps incongruously, everything is decorated with red hearts.

heh, i appreciate it, but you sure you don't wanna try a round? it's easy, even if it's rigged. you just try to knock all the bottles down.

[He throws another ball and knocks down half the stack.]

[And maaaaybe he'd be willing to kind of fudge things with his magic and knock over a few extra bottles for her. He holds out the ball.]

[He'll have to super-fudge things, because WHUFF - her throwing skills are pretty bad, man. Barely got any air.]

[Oh lordy. He snags the ball in midair with telekinesis and tries to make it look as normal as possible as the ball sorta...changes direction and goes and knocks a bunch of bottles over.]

heh, hey, look at that.

[Wait, what? Is it her imagination, or did the ball - but then there comes a second shock, the bottles going down!]

Huh?! Did I do that?

[Seriously, she has trouble believing that.]

yeah, must've been an updraft or something, huh? way to go, mikan. you wanna try to knock the rest of 'em down?

That must have been some updraft...

[But she'll accept it, if that's what Sans says.]

Okay... n-number two!

[WUFF.]

[This time Sans catches it with his magic as soon as it leaves her hand. It actually looks a bit more realistic. A bit. The ball sails over and knocks over the remaining bottles.]

[Sans claps his hands.]

hey, you won. good job.

I won...? ... I won! Oh my goodness! I actually won!

[Has she ever won anything ever? She's hopping up and down, clapping her hands giddily.]

Sans, Sans, did you see? I did it!

hee hee, i did. that was awesome, mikan.

[He's so happy that she's happy.]

[The vendor moves to give her the prize - A fluffy white dog plush. Mikan hugs it tenderly.]

... I'm going to name it Sans!

[Okay he can't help laughing at that.] heh, aww, that's sweet.

[He could say that she's probably cursing the poor thing by giving it his name, but he doesn't want to ruin the moment.]
