Summary: The Red Queen has thrown a carnival for everyone!
The Story:


From Friday, March 9, through Friday, March 16, the gardens and grounds of the Mansion will be a sprawling a carnival. The masked, unspeaking vendors will be selling trinkets and running free game booths. Carnival rides, exhibits, and foods represent all of the various cultures of those currently residing in the Mansion.


Of particular note, and perhaps incongruously, everything is decorated with red hearts.

Oh yeah, there were carnivals and shit all the time. Plus, living in Florida, we had Disney World which is about a billion times better than this.

[She doesn't normally brag about back home, but this is one of those few times where she can.]

Nah, it's a carnival. It's still pretty fun. It's just that Disney World is a billion times more fun, I used to sneak in all the time.

There's a Disneyland in Tokyo, but I've never been there before. Just to smaller amusement parks.

Smaller parks can be cool too, and are probably way cheaper, which means you have more money for other stuff.

Yeah, but you wouldn't have to worry about that if you kept sneaking in.

...yeah, but if I had to pay each time, I'd never get to go. Disney shit's expensive.

Yeah, I get it. [Makes sense to him, although he's not totally sure he'd be up to sneaking in even so.]

So what're you enjoying most?

Man, just getting the chance to unwind. But like, really unwind. Not hanging around, waiting for the next ominous broadcast about an event happening or any of that.

[Yup, it's a nice relaxing carnival.]

I mean the mirrors could pull shit, and there's that weird as fuck box, but that's not that stressful.

A lot of people still think something bad will happen while this is going on.

I'm trying not to think about that. Like if on the last day zombies show up or something, I'll deal with that shit then.

I feel the same way. I'd rather enjoy it while I can.

Yeah, the way I see it, enjoy it now and whatever happens happens.

We've dealt with about ten thousand zombies, so whatever happens this time, we should be able to handle it.
