Summary: The Red Queen has thrown a carnival for everyone!
The Story:


From Friday, March 9, through Friday, March 16, the gardens and grounds of the Mansion will be a sprawling a carnival. The masked, unspeaking vendors will be selling trinkets and running free game booths. Carnival rides, exhibits, and foods represent all of the various cultures of those currently residing in the Mansion.


Of particular note, and perhaps incongruously, everything is decorated with red hearts.

That's right, I'm Mirror Rick! I suppose it's fairly obvious, isn't it?

[He laughs good-naturedly.]

I'm sure s-some Mirrors gave you a hard time for it, But I wanted to let you know that some of us really do want peace! If that could be achieved without going against o-our Queen and Maker, then, then that would certainly be ideal. I am certain that she could see the benefits of peace if given th-the chance!

That would be ideal.

[Sort of. She very much doubts that the Queen wants peace, and it wouldn't solve the underlying problem of the Queen's total control over the Mirrors, but it's a step.]

But she does seem the "shoot the messenger" type. Not sure who could get that message to her.

[Rick is also pretty damn sure that the Queen doesn't want peace at all, but that's a treasonous thought to have, so he'd best keep it to himself.]

Yes...she does seem that way, doesn't she! Ah, well, s-she wants what is best for her kingdom, of course! Perhaps someone will be able to tell her about th-the benefits of peace when she is...in a very good mood!

Why not? You seem a lot nicer than the Real Rick.

Oh, y-yes, that's what I've been told. But, ah, to put it bluntly..."nice" isn't a trait our dear ruler very much...favors. Haha, what is the use of a Mirror who is, ah, u-unwilling to do any major spying?

You're entirely unwilling? [She raises an eyebrow.] Yeah, I can see how that could present a problem.

Spying on people isn't nice! I just...don't really subscribe to th-this whole...us vs. you mentality. I firmly believe that w-we can all coexist peacefully!

So do I. Too bad not everyone is so… nice.
