[Event!]
Who: Everyone!
Where: Dream bubbles
When: 9/15-9/16
Rating: PG
Summary: Everyone is stuck with their memories. And some other people.
The Story:
This log's pretty straightforward. There is one thread per group for the first day or two of the event, before people are able to leave their initial dream bubble groupings. ♥ If you have any questions, grab a mod on AIM.
EDIT: The mods have decided to let everyone continue with phase two of the event in this one log, since there's overlap between being stuck in the bubbles and moving between them.
So if you're posting to a group thread that isn't your initial group, just your thread with what day of the event it takes place on so people will know it's not from the first day or so.

no. He is just feeling like it stretches on forever because he kind of doesn't want to get to the end, isn't it?

She found herself in the hallway of what looked like a castle and she looked around before walking cautiously down it, being slow with her steps. There was always a chance that something could catch Bela off guard and come out of nowhere. She wasn't armed and didn't have any other means of defence so perhaps finding a weapon of some sort would be useful to her now.

But... she was not here. No, he's not going to meet Poland for the first time, what was he thinking. These are the 100th anniversary celebrations, of course, her dress would be off... "Good afternoon." She must be of one of the parties that arrived from lesser kingdoms or a countryside noble of Poland's, he's never seen her before.

She looks up at him again, hoping that he could give her a better explanation or at least some sort of a clue. "Where am I exactly?"

Tara Gregson; Bowling Alley
"I'm gonna teach you to make this ball your bitch."
It's a simple enough line. Maybe Buck's said it before. The deja vu can't be too strange, in that case. But...no. No, he's said it before, exactly this way, exactly here.
He reaches out to Alice with his mind, and she doesn't know what's wrong either. She remembers this too. But it's happening again.
An eye twitch, a straightened spine, and Alice is in charge. This is definitely wrong. This is not how this went.
Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear.

Tick tock, tick tock. Time to wake up.
no subject
"Oh, goodness, are you alright?"

Redglare tousles her own hair, making it even messier. She raises herself off the machine she was perched on and looks to Alice, then to the bowling alley. "What is this place," she raises her nose to sniff, and smells the scent of a person and more people in that person. It's a curiosity, and she had no opportunity to smell it up close.

For the moment, the boy is concentrating on what exactly is wrong. He's just learning... this. Which was working with a new brand of firearms just a few moments before.

And the same goes for Marshall himself. He's Marshall-- sweet, cynical, old soul Marshall. But he's also someone else. Someone with long hair and a confused expression.
Alice isn't sure what to make of this, so she decides to ask. "Excuse me, but may I ask your name?"

And the room doesn't work. "Lithuania." They shouldn't even be inside.
And they aren't, now. The room around them seems gone, maybe they are on the roof, but the chairs and ball return and everything else is still there.

Neophyte Redglare; Libra-themed Alternian Courtblock
But then it goes wrong and she can feel the arms grabbing her. She things to herself Who let this many low-bloods into the court?! How is she managing them all? and it's her last coherent thought before she is fighting. They grab her and they slip the noose around her neck, and she looks into their dead empty eyes.
She's been here before. She's hung like this before, trying to choke out Mindfang's name and managing nothing but indignant gagging and teal spittle as the cerulean-blood picks up her cane. She wants to tell herself that this isn't how it's supposed to go, but her eyes taste peppermint-vanilla and her neck is bleeding and This is exactly how it went. How pathetic.

Tapping the closest person to her on the shoulder, Bela straightened up and looked approachable, a neutral expression on her face.
"Could you tell me what is going on?"
no subject
Regretted.
It's what reminds her that this already happened, that she doesn't need to adhere to it now. The knowledge brings her cane-sword back to her hands, and she cuts herself down with a single slice. She loosens the noose once she hits the ground, turning it into a tie of sorts.
"I don't know," she says in a tone laced with plenty of trepidation.
no subject
"I don't even know how I got here in the first place." Bela replies pleasantly enough, not wishing to incense her any further. "Just found myself here."
Her eyes scan the room quickly, then she looks at object in the others' hands, wondering where she got it from. Bela finally raises her gaze to the cut noose around her neck and that's the thing that intrigues her the most.

day three (if it's okay? o/)
Of course, he wasn't expecting to find himself in a courtblock as soon as he entered this bubble, but when he sees Redglare's hanging body, he can figure out how he got here.
"...You might as well just come the fuck down from there, don't you think?"
His voice comes out calm, which he appreciates. This is all a memory, but it's Redglare's memory, and that's reason enough to be wary.
YES IT IS
The memory is fading to dark around Karkat, coming to a close until he opens his mouth and it sort of hits her. What is keeping her from coming down. This has already happened.
'Idiot.' She thinks to herself, pulling off her gloves to reveal sharpened claws, 'You're dead, remember?'
Now that the crowds aren't restraining her, she's free to slice the ropes multiple times with her claws. It takes a while, but she comes down eventually.
"What are you doing here?"
The eyes looking but not seeing Karkat are white, slowly bleeding back to red.

He glances around at the dark setting, then looks back at Redglare, intending to keep his distance if he can.

Bela Talbot | Apartment in New York
Of course, she didn't intend to piss him off too much because as rich as he was, the client was quite psychotic as well; the last thing Bela wanted was someone coming to kill her because she didn't agree with him.
The conversation ends and she heaved out a sigh, leaning against the kitchen counter. A noise caught her attention and Bela reached for her gun, only to have the conversation begin all over again with her talking on the phone.
Day 3/4-ish, if that's cool?
He pauses inside in order to consider how ridiculous that is. But it's too late to really be that bothered by it, so he shrugs it off and watches Bela hang up her phone and lean against the counter.
"...Human hives are pretty much like troll hives, I guess."
Absolutely fine!
"This isn't a hive!" Bela says rather indignantly after a few moments, hoping that she wasn't about to be attacked. "Is that what you are-a troll?"
Honestly, she had expected trolls to be much larger, just like the ones described in fairy tale books. But this was her apartment and she doesn't remember having a troll here at this time.
:D!
Karkat mosies further into the kitchen, glancing around. He's not super used to human adults, but his understanding is that they aren't nearly as dangerous as troll adults, so he's not being as cautious as he might be otherwise.
