Summary: As an apology for all of the mess associated with the redecorating last week, the Red Queen has organized a party for everyone in Wonderland, and invited
The Story:

The ballroom's high, arching ceilings seem to reach up at least two stories above your head, despite the fact that there are definitely second and third story rooms above this spot. High, wide windows let in sunlight during the day; at night, chandeliers and wall sconces light up with so many candles, it's hard to believe the light isn't from an electric source.

In preparation for the incoming guests, the ballroom has been decorated in light, pastel colors. There are many streamers and balloons, and garlands made with fresh flowers that will not wither for the entire four-day duration of the party. Confetti floats through the air now and then, but upon closer inspection it is not paper, but flower petals. There is a long table set up towards the back with beautiful flower arrangements and more food and drink than anyone could imagine, including an abundance of cake, tea, and alcohol of various kinds.

There are smaller tables to the side if you would like to sit and talk or eat, but there is a great space open as well for mingling and dancing. Various kinds of music will be played throughout the weekend, though there does not seem to be any particular source - no stereo system or DJ booth to be seen.

But most importantly, the party will cater itself to what makes you, the guest, most comfortable. This is your night and you are guests of Wonderland. There's no need to worry or fear. The mansion will take care of you so long as you are in its walls.

(And perhaps, when the party is over, you won't want to leave at all.)

[The dishes clank in the sink and Souji leaves them there. The Mansion can do its own dang dishes.]

That's appreciation, not mouth-feeding someone like they're a freaking bird.

At least I know what to do if you ever can't eat for yourself.

[Souji is so amused he can't even]

Please, no. Take me to a hospital and get me a regular feeding tube like a civilized citizen of the 21st century.

[Souji laughs again, gripping the edge of the counter. He's feeling better right now than he has in awhile, though knowing that just highlights how crappy the past little while has been.]

I promise.

[Yousuke can't help but smile, even when he's trying to play a straight joke. Is he trying a little harder to make Souji feel better? Maaaaaaybe.]

[eatsyourscience]

[Souji quiets and stays where he is for a minute, then comes back over to Yousuke and takes his seat beside him.]

I really miss you.

[masukukunai]

Yeah... [He doesn't want to say "I'm sorry", because he's already said it too much.]

I'm not going anywhere, as long as I'm here.

[eatsyourscience]

[Souji takes Yousuke's hand and just sits there holding it for several minutes. He just wants to take this in and enjoy it.]

[masukukunai]

[Yousuke spiders his fingers in-between Souji's, creeping one at a time.]

[eatsyourscience]

[Souji leans over and rests his forehead against Yousuke's.]

Let's go somewhere more comfortable.

[masukukunai]

[Yousuke smiles... And then his smile shakes, and he fights a laugh.]

[eatsyourscience]

[Souji rolls his eyes and nudges him with an elbow.]

I just want to sit around. It wasn't a pick up line.

[masukukunai]

Oh, come on! That was the pick-upiest pick-up line I've ever heard!

[eatsyourscience]

That's how you know it wasn't one. Because I'd never be so obvious.

[Conversation over. Game goes to Seta. He gets up and drags Yousuke toward the door by the hand.]

[masukukunai]

You're obvious enough to me, buddy. Notice how you're dragging me by the arm?

[eatsyourscience]

It's because I'm the leader.

[masukukunai]

Yeah, I think we established that awhile ago. You're gonna give me an indian burn.

[eatsyourscience]

Walk faster. [He still lets up, though.]

[masukukunai]

Okay, okay! [He trots to keep up the pace, rubbing at his wrist.]

[eatsyourscience]

What do you want to do now?

[Regardless of the answer, they are going to Souji's room. Hope you like stairs!]
