Presented by 2-3, this chic and semi-intimate karaoke lounge is heralded as the perfect get-away for those students and visitors looking to burn a little energy dancing and singing. Despite how it might first appear, the room boasts a deceptively large space, plenty of seating, and basic refreshments.

Nearest the stage is a sign-up list for those looking to sing. The music database is massive, so pretty much any song is offered (however, there are signs warning against selections that may not be appropriate for all audiences, even if no one will be closely monitoring).

Tohru happens to be visiting the Karaoke Lounge at the time. She has no plans of singing herself, of course, but she wanted to be there as moral support for Angel, since his class was running it.

It...it isn't the most polished singing she's ever heard before (to put it politely), but he's trying very hard and clearly doing his best, and that's what matters in the end. When he finishes, she applauds, making a whole two people unironically clapping so far.

Once he makes his way back to the audience, she makes her way over to him and sits by his side.

"Hi, Angel!" she says, smiling bright as always. "You did really well!"

Tohru, you're a better friend than most people deserve, if we're being honest here. He smiles as she takes her place next to him, ducking his head as he rubs at the back of his neck, still holding onto some residual embarrassment, but there might be a touch of pride there, too-- he'd enjoyed himself, enough not to realize how abysmal he'd been. It counted for something, right?

"Yeah? You think so?" He grins, nudging her with his elbow. "You should go up and sing. I bet you're great."

That flusters her almost immediately, and she shakes her head and waves her hands in front of her in protest. She's too modest to accept the compliment.

"O-Oh no! I'm not, I mean...I couldn't possibly!" she says, as her face quickly grows red. "I...I'm not very much of a, um. Performer..."

"Neither am I, and I still got through it." He may be tone-deaf, but that doesn't mean he can't hear himself. He may not realize how terrible he truly was, but he knows he's not about to get discovered by a convenient record agent anytime soon.

"We could sing something together. It could be fun. I'd be with you, so you wouldn't be embarrassed. People would be paying attention to the both of us, not singling you out."

"Ah...well. Um. I suppose that's...true?"

She still sounds kind of unsure, but he's going out of his way to encourage her to sing with him, and he wouldn't do that if he thought it was going to horribly embarrass her.

"...Okay then," She finally decides. "I'll sing something with you. It really could be fun, I think!"
