Who: Human!Darcy
sorryitasedyou or Angel!Erica
seizurings and YOU!
Where:Various
When: Angels/Demons event
Rating: PG for language? Will bump up if needed
Summary: Erica and Darcy wandering around the mansion (catch-all)
The Story:
Darcy:

Darcy is getting more and more confused as the weekend progesses, doing her best to avoid people with wings. Whether or not they do the same remains to be seen. She can be found wandering around the mansion, most of the time with earbuds in or her nose buried in a book trying to pretend that a ton of people didn't just sprout wings.
Erica:

Erica is beyond annoyed. Being an angel carried its own responsibilities, but that meant she had to care about other people and their issues. She has taken to perching on ledges and finding the roof increasingly more appealing than she had before. She doesn't have to deal with people if they aren't around to bug her about stupid things like miracles and guidance.
[ooc: Hit me up with who you want, where, and when. Prose or action both okay.]

She runs a hand through her curls giving a small sigh. Flower-y crap or not, this was one of her charges and she couldn't ignore her responsibilities.
"There's more peace out here than inside. Flowers don't whine about stupid things."
Giving a small smile, she runs a finger over the rose she'd revived. "Any ideas on what has you so restless?"

There's no reason she wouldn't be slightly different to the girl she remembers in the vault. Erica knows what happens to her. And it's not something Cora expects her to merely let slide from her shoulders and not affect her posture in any sort of way.
Cora cocks an eyebrow. Inner peace. Flowers whining. She glances toward the suspects and notices that they haven't grown eyes nor mouths, nor even voices. "There's not much to do," she says, returning her gaze back to Erica. Her incredulous expression remains, eyebrow arched. "Thinking about chasing some inner peace out in the woods." With a look toward Boudica, her butt the only thing unusual about the bush, she has a feeling the woods will have to wait. "Or she's found it already."

"The woods are dangerous, be careful if you do decide to go alone. I'm glad you'd have Boudica with you." It's about as close to her duties as she's gonna get, attempting to guide Cora into making wise choices. Between the demons running rampant and the Jabberwocky, she didn't like the idea of Cora going off alone.
Her eyes drift back down to Boudica, partly curious and partly worried that the wolf could sense what she'd done to the rose.

Maybe Erica was worried about that. But Cora's not — even if she feels the need to check her calendar every morning to ensure she hasn't lost an entire year, instead. She can handle the dangers in the woods. What's Thumper going to do to her besides encourage her in a game of chase?
Following Erica's gaze, she looks down toward Boudica. The wolf's head is now free of being stuck in the bush as she moves toward Erica to sniff her hands. "She won't bite," she says, before looking back up to Erica.

Well, no time like the present.
"I know she won't but there's something you should know. I'm..." Ugh, she hated this part, "I'm an angel."
She prepares herself for the reaction, not sure how Cora's going to take it.

But there's no time to really dwell on it, nor even tell Erica Boudica likes a hard scratch within the scruff of her neck to have her liking her friend even more, before Erica begins to speak again. Cora takes in none of it, eyebrow arching as Erica announces she's been touched by an angel — literally.
She looks at her, cocking her head slightly, brows pinched, before her expression smooths out. Then, Cora laughs.

She stops, turning and running a hand through her hair.
"If you still don't believe me, I can show you my wings."
It's really not something she likes to do, but it's sometimes necessary. She slips off her leather jacket, gently depositing it on a nearby bench just in case Cora says yes.

Her laughter dies down the moment Erica slips her jacket off, encouraging, rather than protesting, anything that Cora may say to push her into embarrassment. There's really no fun to be had if she's willing to place herself in an uncomfortable position.
With her expression sobering, she's no longer laughing. Her tone is earnest, "Show me."

"There are also demons - they will try to lead you astray."
Moving a little closer, she gives her a soft smile.
"Do you want to touch them?"
