Who: Human!Darcy
sorryitasedyou or Angel!Erica
seizurings and YOU!
Where:Various
When: Angels/Demons event
Rating: PG for language? Will bump up if needed
Summary: Erica and Darcy wandering around the mansion (catch-all)
The Story:
Darcy:

Darcy is getting more and more confused as the weekend progesses, doing her best to avoid people with wings. Whether or not they do the same remains to be seen. She can be found wandering around the mansion, most of the time with earbuds in or her nose buried in a book trying to pretend that a ton of people didn't just sprout wings.
Erica:

Erica is beyond annoyed. Being an angel carried its own responsibilities, but that meant she had to care about other people and their issues. She has taken to perching on ledges and finding the roof increasingly more appealing than she had before. She doesn't have to deal with people if they aren't around to bug her about stupid things like miracles and guidance.
[ooc: Hit me up with who you want, where, and when. Prose or action both okay.]

Of course, Bela has existed for a lot longer than that but Darcy didn't have to know. The less she knew in the beginning, the better for Bela's plans for her.
"Do you have anyone you know from home around?"
no subject
She continues to relax as they chat, the small talk nice comparatively.
"I have a ton of people here from home. It's pretty awesome for the most part." Although it can get overwhelming at times - it's a lot of people to worry about, especially when the mansion starts messing with them. Her expression shifts a little before the smile returns.
"What about you?"
no subject
Which was perfect.
"That does sound awesome." The words seem strange on her lips but Bela was doing her best to relate to Darcy, lull her into a false sense of security. "Yes. There are a few people I know from home but I wouldn't say we were exactly close."
Well, she wasn't close with anyone but details. "Where are you from anyway? Specifically."
no subject
She relaxes a little more, a smile resting easily on her lips. It was a blessing and curse to have so many people here. She felt safe knowing just who they were, but at the same time she should be more careful for that exact reason.
She just gives a small nod to that before arching an eyebrow at her question.
"Like where was I born? Or where was I pulled from when I ended up here? Because the answer to that's England. Although I spent quite a bit of time in New Mexico. A lot of my people from home got here from New York."
no subject
Bela only asked questions to find out any weaknesses that she could exploit and use to her advantage when it came to tormenting people; she didn't have a vested interest in humans.
"New York is where I live now, though I was born and raised in England. I've never been to New Mexico and it's been a long time since I went to my country of birth." The details were irrelevant anyway.
"What did you think of England?"
no subject
She arches an eyebrow, pursing her lips slightly. It was always cool to meet people that had lived in the same cities as she knew, see what parallels ran between their worlds.
"I liked it a lot, didn't really get to do much in terms of sightseeing between the whole Thor thing and anomaly hunting with Jane."
no subject
She could always do an invasive poking around in Darcy's mind but then she was trying to be her friend after all.
"The name seems familiar to me but I have no idea why."
no subject
"If you're familiar with Norse mythology, then you've probs heard the name before..."
She shifts a little, giving a small smile. There's a hint of sadness to it, definitely missing Thor while here.
no subject
Picking up on the sad tone Bela adopts a sympathetic expression, tilting her head at Darcy. "You miss him, don't you? I can only imagine how difficult it is, especially when it comes to being separated from a friend."
She didn't have that issue. "Poor thing. Maybe he will come here like you did."
no subject
"I miss him more for Jane than anything else." Something about him helped keep her grounded in a way she could never manage. It's far more emotional than physical, though she's sure that plays a part. Although a part of her is worried about him showing up, already feeling slightly useless to the scientist around here. Adding Thor to the mix could push her out even more. Being Jane's intern has been her life for the past 3-ish years... Not having that anymore, at least not in the same sense is hard to even imagine.
She clears her throat, trying to not let herself dip down into sadsville.
"But that's not important. No point worrying about what may or may not happen."
no subject
Bela listens carefully to Darcy, making sure to watch her body language at the same time. It was a skill she had honed prior to becoming a demon and Bela found it to be incredibly useful when it came to ruining the lives of the humans and angels around her. She also had to be aware that each situation was different, that not everyone would respond in the same way. Learning more about Darcy was key.
"How true. Especially with what is happening in Wonderland right now; you don't need the extra stress." Continuing to play the sympathy card.
"Tell me about any hobbies or interests you have instead."
no subject
"I don't know if paperwork counts as a hobby." It's a joke. Sort of. "I like baking, reading, music... Although I don't always have time for them. More so here than back home, which is kinda exciting." Kinda not.
She gives a shrug. "I don't know, I'm boring." Especially compared to a lot of the other people here.
no subject
"I wouldn't consider that boring. Maybe safer than some hobbies but not dull." Of course she had selfish motivations for wanting to lift Darcy's spirits and then break them all over again but all in good time.
"Did you study at all back home?"
no subject
She gives a small laugh at the question, finding the whole thought hilarious still. "I actually went to school for Political Science, but took an internship with an astrophysicist." That's a fantastic way for her to put her years at school to good use...
Or not.
no subject
She had been listening to everything that Darcy had told her so far; no detail was too small or unimportant in her eyes. Whatever Bela could learn about her was useful.
"Quite the U-turn, Darcy. To go from that kind of study to a completely different kind altogether. What brought about the change?"
