Tavern Mingle (INSIDE) | OPEN
Who: EVERYONE
Where: The Dark Lantern Tavern!
When: 1/15/16 -1/18/16 - The duration of the event!
Rating: Probably PG-13, will vary by thread.
Summary: Let's go to this creepy tavern and ask for some directions! A log for staying nice and dry inside.
The Story:

For the duration of the event, the mansion has become a dingy tavern. It has two floors, the bottom being the main tavern and the upper floor has six bedrooms with one bed and one magic closet in each room for everyone to fight over, unless they don't mind sleeping on the floor or in the tavern somewhere. With the amount of people in Wonderland, everyone is cramped together and it will be very crowded. The closets will work, however they will only provide clothing and items from time periods long gone (though they do not seem to be bound to any particular time period). There are no employees to be found in the Tavern, but there's a working kitchen with a wood fire stove and enough food and drink for everyone to last the entire event comfortably. There's even a stage with musical instruments to entertain yourselves with! There's no electricity, but plenty of candles and lanterns around.
For the entire length of the event, it will be dark outside. In addition to the never-ending night, it will pour for four days straight, and it will all seem rather ominous once it becomes apparent the sun isn't coming out. Pretty much all signs will suggest that everyone should stay in the tavern and eat, drink, and be merry with their stupid new names. But it really is tight quarters, and some might be curious to see what else is out there. Maybe there's another place to stay out there, or something. Maybe the Beast Alice spoke of is out there.
(Lost? Perhaps you're looking for the outside log or the event information.)

Showed up about a week and a half ago. He doesn’t know how bad it is, yet.
[She realizes then that Regina probably doesn’t know either, because she left too.]
I went home. I think you did too, right after me. We never had the chance to talk. Everything...better now? [You know, like that Dark One affliction.]
no subject
Hopefully he doesn't find out for some time. [But he will eventually, and Regina can only hope it isn't too bad. Her voice is softer when she speaks again.] I'm glad you have someone, again.
[The moment passes, hopefully not awkwardly.
Because Michonne brings up that, and well.]
Better isn't exactly how I'd put it. I killed someone, she killed me, now she has unimaginable power. [A half-smirk appears on her face before she shakes her head.] How are things at home?
no subject
Well. Shit happens. So. Haven't seen anyone let loose with any kind of power, unless this whole thing isn't Wonderland screwing with us.
[At Regina's question, there's almost a weary sigh.] You know, I'm not a true pessimist, not really. But I'm not liking my odds against a hoard of dead people that have me and my group surrounded. I came back from being right in the middle of that. So. To be continued, I guess.
[She doesn't want to dwell on the idea that she very well might die. That she actually does think that maybe this could be it. They'd had a shot, if some kid wouldn't have started talking. But she can't really fault him for being scared.]
no subject
[Regina just waves her hand dismissively. They have more important things to talk about.
Her expression turns serious as Michonne talks, knowing there's nothing she can really to say to make the situation less awful.]
I don't think anybody would like those odds. But you're not alone, and it's not doing to do you any good to assume the worst when you don't know when you'll get a chance to see it through.
[Oh god was that her inner fairytale character shining through.]
no subject
Michonne nods, she knows, then takes it back to amusement and light teasing, not wanting to dwell when the conversation started out on a much better note than this.]
With a name like The Evil Queen, you know you give out some nice life advice.
no subject
Don't tell anybody my secret. [She smiles, and a few months ago she would have scowled, reacted badly, but... things are looking up. Kind up.] But I think it's just something you pick up when you're what's considered a fairy tale character.
no subject
Well, maybe that's what I need then. Just a little time in your world picking up the good advice. Learn something to take back to the group.
[There's a small smile there, then, knowing Rick would call all that hope bullshit. She'd had a hard enough time getting him to stay in Alexandria, and even then he'd lost his fucking mind.]
no subject
Having friends is strange and wrong and she's not sure she likes it.]Or we could find a way to get them to Storybrooke.
[She says, like it's no big deal.]
no subject
You know, I think I’d take you and yours over zombies. Long as dressing like that isn’t a requirement. Not that you aren’t pulling it off.
no subject
[And she doesn't even know that Arthur is a humongous dick hole yet.]
I don't want to make a promise because we both know how many things could go wrong, but, [Regina shrugs.] one day, I hope it will be an option.
no subject
[She's being serious as she meets Regina's eyes.]
The zombies, that's...they're one thing. They never change. You get to know how to deal with them. It's humans. When you're at the end of what's left of them, you don't find a lot of good. There isn't much left. So. If it's something that can be figured out, if there's ever a chance, I mean it. I'm grateful.
[She's just not holding Regina to it. She knows Wonderland comes with no guarantees, no matter what they think they figure out.]
