+ Trick or treat till the neighbors gonna die of fright! | OPEN +

Who: EVERYONE (if they want to live)
Where: EVERYWHERE (inside the mansion, knocking on doors)
When: 6/24 - 6/27
Rating: PG-13?
Summary: The Summerween Trickster has made his decree - Trick or treat...or die! This is a mingle log for Trick-or-Treating!
The Story:

On the morning of the 24th, everyone will find that the mansion was inexplicably decorated for Halloween...sort of. The idea behind the decorations is mostly the same, except that every jack-o-lantern is made out of a watermelon instead of a pumpkin. No, this is SUMMERWEEN.

For the first day it will be harmless enough, just a change in décor and a little spooky summer fun. However, by the second day there will be sightings of the Summerween Trickster, a creepy fellow made entirely out of unpopular loser candy, and he is not happy. In the entrance hall, there will be a giant jack-o-melon container with a counter and a count-down clock ticking away to the end of the event.

Your job, Wonderland, is to trick-or-treat for your lives. You have until the end of the event to deliver one million pieces of candy to the jack-o-melon before the end of the event, to appease the Summerween Trickster.

What was that? You'll just sit this out and wait for the event to end? I wouldn't do that if I were you. You see, the Summerween Trickster could be lurking around any corner. If he catches someone not fully embracing the spirit of Summerween (refusing to trick or treat, not wearing a costume, etc), they will not survive the experience. The Trickster will kill them and swallow them whole, making them part of his horrible loser candy body.

More details about trick or treating can be found here. This is a mingle post for trick-or-treating, if you'd rather use this than make a post! [Brackets] or prose are both welcome.

[Peter Parker is not in an actual costume quite yet. No, he's crawling around in his Spider-man suit, undecided if he should try to defeat the big, bad Halloween man or just hope everyone decides to dress up so no one dies.

His super hearing leads him to the sight of the skeleton and the spider. He has met Sans so it's not a surprise to see a skeleton, but he does tilt his head in slight amusement at the skeleton trying to put the spider in a costume which is basically... a sticker]

I don't think the spider's too into the idea. And I should know. [being Spider-man and all.]

[ the remark causes Papyrus to turn towards Peter, a large smile on his face. The sticker is attached to his radius easily, and he places his hand on his hip happily. ]

GREETINGS, HUMAN!! [ a booming greeting. Gotta start big! Make it count! ] YES, ONE WOULD THINK SO....HOWEVER, I FEAR HE IS MERELY AFRAID HE WILL NOT LOOK AS GREAT AS ME WHEN IN HIS COSTUME! THOUGH HE HAS REALLY NARROWED HIS OWN OPTIONS DOWN...

WHAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND HE DRESS UP AS?

[ it's a real question. Crossword taps his legs against the wall and spins around in a little circle anxiously. ]

[Peter can't help but smile a little even behind the mask. He can already see the differences between Papyrus and Sans (who definitely mentioned his brother to Peter when they first spoke)] Y'know, that's a pretty understandable fear to have. Can you blame him?

[Peter's going to hope that the Trickster won't try to kill spiders or kittens (since he has one of those) that aren't dressed up, because that'd just be cruel...]

What're you dressing up as for Summerween? Maybe he'd be into matching so you could be like a pair instead of worrying about being compared.
everyonecanbekind: (pick me ; the answer is 22!)

I COULD BLAME HIM, BUT I FEEL AS IF THAT IS UNFAIR!! AND I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, AM NOTHING IF NOT INCREDIBLY, AMAZINGLY FAIR!

[ he preens happily. At Peter's second question, he brings his hands together in an excited motion!! Because!! Oh my goodness!! ]

I WILL BE GOING AS SAILOR MOON! THE DEFENDER OF THE MOON!! A HERO TO LOOK TO IN TIMES OF DEVASTATION!!

[peter smiles, nodding in agreement because it would be unfair. he tilts his head to the side curiously at all the excitement. it's kind of adorable, and it's nice to see someone so enthusiastic about trick-or-treating and dressing up despite the fact that there's a big, bad trickster.]

Hey, that's an awesome character to go as. Someone who is strong, inspiring. Can the spider like ride on your shoulder while you go trick or treating? That should keep it safe if it's participating too. Not like they make costumes tiny enough for a spider.
