Summary: The Summerween Trickster has made his decree - Trick or treat...or die! This is a mingle log for Trick-or-Treating!
The Story:



On the morning of the 24th, everyone will find that the mansion was inexplicably decorated for Halloween...sort of. The idea behind the decorations is mostly the same, except that every jack-o-lantern is made out of a watermelon instead of a pumpkin. No, this is SUMMERWEEN.

For the first day it will be harmless enough, just a change in décor and a little spooky summer fun. However, by the second day there will be sightings of the Summerween Trickster, a creepy fellow made entirely out of unpopular loser candy, and he is not happy. In the entrance hall, there will be a giant jack-o-melon container with a counter and a count-down clock ticking away to the end of the event.

Your job, Wonderland, is to trick-or-treat for your lives. You have until the end of the event to deliver one million pieces of candy to the jack-o-melon before the end of the event, to appease the Summerween Trickster.

What was that? You'll just sit this out and wait for the event to end? I wouldn't do that if I were you. You see, the Summerween Trickster could be lurking around any corner. If he catches someone not fully embracing the spirit of Summerween (refusing to trick or treat, not wearing a costume, etc), they will not survive the experience. The Trickster will kill them and swallow them whole, making them part of his horrible loser candy body.

"Well, the closet spit out the costume for me, and any time I tried to get something different, it gave me a sluttier, and sluttier version, and with my brother here, you know, i went with this one."

She couldn't ever, no matter what the threat, dress in a costume like that while her brother was within a hundred mile radius of her. She just couldn't.

Damon smiles as he keeps her gaze then, folding his arms across his chest as he does so. "But slutty is so much fun."

Damon Salvatore: forever a bad influence.

"Never said it wasn't," she retorts, holding her own. "But while playing trick-or-treat-or-die with my brother? Not so much."

[eyething]

"But your brother isn't around now, and you're a grown ass woman." Damon folds his arms across his chest, lifting an eyebrow, with a flirty little smirk at her. "Is he one of those very overbearing, very protective sorts?"

[blackbirdsing]

"Yes and yes. FBI agent, likes to go 'big brother must protect the little sister mode' all the time." She can't help but tip her head to the side, and yes, he's very attractive, and yes, her brother isn't around. With any luck he and Jane are somewhere working out their issues while they gather candy.

"So is this a vote toward the slutty version?"

[eyething]

Damon shrugs lightly since FBI agent isn't remotely scary to him, but that's what happens when you're an almost 200 year old vampire. Damon smiles at her as she tips her head to the side as if he can sense what she's considering in her head. Yes, he's very attractive and a lot of fun.

"I always vote for the slutty version."

[blackbirdsing]

"And what about whatever it is going around killing people for not actively trick-or-treating? Can't really appreciate a slutty costume if something's trying to eat me."

But she's thisclose to inviting him to her room. She just doesn't want to die over Halloween costumes that are in poor taste.

"I believe there has to be an allowance for breaks. People can't trick-or-treat if they're falling over out of exhaustion or boredom. There's always time for a slutty costume."

He's just saying as he eyes her with a flirty smirk on his face.

Sarah eyes him again, then begins making her way toward the sixth floor.

"If you're coming, I'm heading up just to keep from uh...falling over," she calls over her shoulder. When she starts walking again though, she doesn't turn back to see if he's coming; if he is, she's happy to see where things go and if not, it was fun flirting.

[eyething]

Damon smirks with a little shrug before he follows her up, watching her from behind, noticing she doesn't turn to see if he's following or not... and he certainly doesn't make any indication either way. He's a vampire, which means very, very stealthy.

He can follow in quietness from behind.
