Summary: The Summerween Trickster has made his decree - Trick or treat...or die! This is a mingle log for Trick-or-Treating!
The Story:



On the morning of the 24th, everyone will find that the mansion was inexplicably decorated for Halloween...sort of. The idea behind the decorations is mostly the same, except that every jack-o-lantern is made out of a watermelon instead of a pumpkin. No, this is SUMMERWEEN.

For the first day it will be harmless enough, just a change in décor and a little spooky summer fun. However, by the second day there will be sightings of the Summerween Trickster, a creepy fellow made entirely out of unpopular loser candy, and he is not happy. In the entrance hall, there will be a giant jack-o-melon container with a counter and a count-down clock ticking away to the end of the event.

Your job, Wonderland, is to trick-or-treat for your lives. You have until the end of the event to deliver one million pieces of candy to the jack-o-melon before the end of the event, to appease the Summerween Trickster.

What was that? You'll just sit this out and wait for the event to end? I wouldn't do that if I were you. You see, the Summerween Trickster could be lurking around any corner. If he catches someone not fully embracing the spirit of Summerween (refusing to trick or treat, not wearing a costume, etc), they will not survive the experience. The Trickster will kill them and swallow them whole, making them part of his horrible loser candy body.

"I do, yeah." Caitlin reaches up to fidget with her hair, forgetting that it's all pulled up and pinned like Holly's. She isn't quite sure how to play that off, so instead, she'll just look awkward and a little sheepish.

"My best friend Barry and my friend Iris. And my—" She hesitates before continuing. "My former boss. That one's a little.. yeah. Oh. And I don't know if you've met Ray Palmer? He's currently about yea big," she says, as she holds her hands roughly 3-4 inches apart. "He's from my Earth."

Jane just smiles a little, not calling attention to the hair thing. "I don't know Ray, but a friend of mine has been talking to him...I don't think she knows he's that small. She thinks he's cute, though."

And that spurs the follow up:

"...How is he that small?"

"Seems a bit odd, doesn't it?" With just that question, Caitlin believes she can safely assume that Jane doesn't come from a world with magic or superpowers. It would be interesting to compare the various universes represented here, see where the similarities begin and end.

"Ray has built this... supersuit. Something of a powered exoskeleton armor that enables him to do a variety of things. One of those things happens to be him being able to shrink to microscopic size. Now usually, he can reverse the process, but because of some complications with his arrival here, he's currently stuck that small."

"Wonderland having some fun at his expense?" she asks a little wryly. "I've heard this place likes to do things like that. Things never really go the way you expect them to. Although....honestly, I'm not sure what I do expect from this place."

She thinks about what it would be like to be stuck at just a few inches tall. "I hope he gets to reverse that soon"

"I think it's less Wonderland having fun and more... technical difficulties. He was apparently traveling through time when he came here. That's his working theory, anyhow." Though she's sure it's also Wonderland having fun at Ray's expense. Because it wants them to be comfortable, sure, but never too comfortable.

"He's working on that. For now, though, the suit lets him fly, which makes getting around easier. It's that, or he rides on my shoulder." She looks a little amused at that. "It's a lot funnier once you see him his normal height. He's about a full head taller than me."
