Summary: The Summerween Trickster has made his decree - Trick or treat...or die! This is a mingle log for Trick-or-Treating!
The Story:



On the morning of the 24th, everyone will find that the mansion was inexplicably decorated for Halloween...sort of. The idea behind the decorations is mostly the same, except that every jack-o-lantern is made out of a watermelon instead of a pumpkin. No, this is SUMMERWEEN.

For the first day it will be harmless enough, just a change in décor and a little spooky summer fun. However, by the second day there will be sightings of the Summerween Trickster, a creepy fellow made entirely out of unpopular loser candy, and he is not happy. In the entrance hall, there will be a giant jack-o-melon container with a counter and a count-down clock ticking away to the end of the event.

Your job, Wonderland, is to trick-or-treat for your lives. You have until the end of the event to deliver one million pieces of candy to the jack-o-melon before the end of the event, to appease the Summerween Trickster.

What was that? You'll just sit this out and wait for the event to end? I wouldn't do that if I were you. You see, the Summerween Trickster could be lurking around any corner. If he catches someone not fully embracing the spirit of Summerween (refusing to trick or treat, not wearing a costume, etc), they will not survive the experience. The Trickster will kill them and swallow them whole, making them part of his horrible loser candy body.

"Do it," York says. "Go on, man. You know it'll bug you if you don't."

Plus this will give him something to tease Wash about all afternoon.

"You're just gonna love that, aren't you?" he asks. He knows York too well to be fooled!

[howkickassiam]

"Who, me?" York says, with faux innocence. "I wouldn't care one way or the other, man." He snickers a little, though, and goes over to open the closet himself. The thong he removes from the closet actually rather matches the costume Wash had removed from it—it's black, anyway. The metal rivets might put it in a different kind of style, though.

Wash rolls his eyes and sits back on the bed with a snort. Like he believes that.

He eyes the thing that York pulls out of the closet. It's black. And leather. And why does it have metal studs on it? "That is just a sign of your depraved mind."

[howkickassiam]

"You might as well do it in style, Wash," York says, but he's laughing as he tosses it in Wash's lap.

[beforeblue]

"Style. Yes, I've always wanted to fit in with the style of a sleazy dockside sex club," he grumbles.

[howkickassiam]

"Nobody's going to see your thong," York says. "They're just going to see what a smooth ass you have under your costume."

[beforeblue]

Wash glares at him, but he is right. Why does he have to be right? "Yeah well, we'll see. Maybe I'll find something else. Less revealing."

[howkickassiam]

"What, are you kidding? That costume is perfect for you." He nudges Wash's knee with his. "Come on, Wash, don't be uptight. I'll take some pictures for posterity, it'll be great." He grins for a second, then adds, "I mean in the costume, not the thong."

[beforeblue]

Wash gives him a sour look, but it's hard to stay pissed at him when he's grinning like that. "Ugh, fine. Give me a minute to change." The things he lets himself be talked into.

"Sure," York says, and then doesn't move. He figures they changed in front of one another in the locker rooms all the time back at the Proejct—it doesn't matter if he continues to sit here.

He doesn't care if York sees of not. Modesty was not a thing in the military. He slipped off his shirt first, then his jeans and grabbed the, well, the cat suit, and pulled it on. It wasn't easy, even if it was obviously the perfect size.

[howkickassiam]

"All that effort to get a thong for underneath and you're not going to bother with it?" York says with a slight snicker. Because it's true, boxer shorts are not going to work under that costume. It's pretty much completely on display right now how much that's not going to work.

[beforeblue]

Wash pauses, the suit halfway on and sighs. Even like this, it's obvious his boxers are not going to look good. And will probably be really uncomfortable.

"Fine," he says, somewhat sullen as he strips off again and reaches for the thong they'd found.
