[OPEN MINGLE] Or perhaps in Slytherin
Who: Slytherin House! (And friends and visitors, of course!)
Where: Slytherin Common Room, Quidditch Pitch, various places around Hogwarts
When: Duration of the event
Rating: G (will edit as necessary)
Summary: Slytherin open log!
The Story:

The Slytherin common room was a long, low underground room with rough stone walls and ceiling, from which round, greenish lamps were hanging on chains. A fire was crackling under an elaborately carved mantelpiece ahead of them, and several Slytherins were silhouetted around it in carved chairs.
The common room has changed, somewhat, from its historical description, thanks to the decorative powers of one Mettaton. Though it still extends beneath the lake and thus retains a greenish, aquatic cast, it's much more brightly lit, its cold, damp atmosphere replaced with dazzling MTT-brand warmth. Even the giant squid, occasionally peering in as it does its rounds of the lake, seems just a shade more glamorous inside such a charming space.
Students - and a ghost or two - can be found nestled within its confines, plotting mischief around the fire, studiously doing their homework (as good students do), or perhaps trading Chocolate Frog trading cards. Though Slytherin is not especially well-known for its wide-open, trusting nature, Slytherins are known for not snitching on each other; if a guest or two were to creep in for a while, then odds are, nobody saw anything.

[Toriel sits back down in her seat, and resumes watching, just to make sure that nothing happens to any of them, playing such a dangerous game. She doesn't want to interfere with their practice any, after all.
Though she might have brought some snacks for when they're all done.]

Right! Shall we, perhaps, get to warming up? That bludger's probably going to be coming back awfully soon.
[It's sort of circling the lot of them like a buzzard, waiting for some kind of opportune chance to totally bean someone else.]
no subject
Ugh! Looks like I got here too late to join in all the mocking!
[He doesn't even know what happened, but he missed the chance to affectionately tease the hell out of his teammates!]
Guess that's what I get for definitely gettin' here on time and not being five minutes late.
[He wasn't five minutes late anyway. ...He was six minutes late.]
no subject
Yeah, you missed Chara beaning themselves in the face and their mom getting worried. Classic.
[She loves Chara. Really. But also, Chara's a second year, and that's Prime Mocking Material.]
Maybe action item today should be, like, getting that thing down before it kills somebody.
no subject
You're right. Chara, I want you to find the bludgers and try to hit Stan and Wendy with them.
[It'll be good practice for all three of them--Chara won't mind getting a little revenge for being laughed at, and the chasers need to improve their reflexes.]
no subject
[Still, she mounts her broom immediately, because no way is she giving this kid an easy shot.]
You gonna make me juggle while I do that too?
no subject
[He is totally willing to add that task.]
no subject
No! Okay, okay, fine, I'm going, look, I'm flying into abject concussions.
[She's up, she's going, DON'T MAKE THIS ANY WORSE, STAN]
no subject
[Stan whines, but unfortunately Souji's the boss so he gets on his broom and kicks off.]
Not that it matters. [Jerks a thumb at himself.] I'm not gonna get pelted either way!
no subject
Alright, I changed my mind. Chara, I'll give you a sickle if you can hit Stan first!
[How did she even make the team being this much of a jerk, honestly.]
no subject
[Frisk sounds entirely too jazzed about this. Oh, but they know the pain of being on the receiving end of Chara's wrath. They also know that last time Frisk got a broken arm from another team's Beater, said Beater ended up in the hospital wing for a week with six fractures.
Must've been a run-in with a very persistent bludger, Chara had said airily.
Must've been a run-in with a very persistent bludger ten times.]
no subject
[FRIENDSHIP.]
no subject
[BEST FRIENDSHIP. But despite it, the bludger is looking angrier and angrier the higher Wendy gets, and she's whooping as she takes off. COME FIGHT HER, COPPERS]
no subject
Neither will you, and you know it!
[In fact, since Wendy was the one who was actually here to laugh, she's getting that bludger whomped directly at her. Nothing personnel...... kid]
no subject
[She'd stop to put her hand up and look like a proper meme, but Chara's coming at her and she needs to dodge, dropping fast and letting the bludger whiz over her head, though it comes complete with that nauseous feeling of freefall.]
Woah! Jeez, try not to actually kill me, here!
no subject
I said practice, not bicker or try to kill each other!
no subject
This is practice, Souji! A Beater's entire job is bickering and trying to kill!
[Good practice for the Chasers, too. Not like Chara can be riding their tails for the entire game, constantly defending them from any bludger that so much as whiffs near their general vicinity.
They're, generally speaking, far too busy trying to apply that service to Frisk.]
Going to join us up in the air, captain, or are you going to stick to bickering practice?
no subject
[ Rafe shoots over his shoulder as he jogs past Souji, mounting his broom and kicking off without missing a step. Don't ask why he was late and he'll tell you no lies. (Ignore the fresh scrapes on his knuckles and the vague echos of a professor yelling in the distance about morons climbing the west tower. What's twenty points from Slytherin in the long run, really.) No matter since he's here now and soaring after Chara before he speeds ahead, bat at the ready and on the lookout for bludger number two.
To Chara, half shouted over the wind, ] You'd think he's new.
no subject
[He's such a hypocrite. He used to be a beater, but got switched because he played too rough.]
But yeah, c'mon Captain! You haven't wronged Chara lately so I'm sure they won't try and pelt you, if that's what you're worried about!
[Ah, good-natured ribbing and casual threats of murder. Just another normal practice for Slytherin.]
no subject
Why not make it a team exercise? I think it could build lots of character!
[heueueueue charater]
