[OPEN MINGLE] Or perhaps in Slytherin
Who: Slytherin House! (And friends and visitors, of course!)
Where: Slytherin Common Room, Quidditch Pitch, various places around Hogwarts
When: Duration of the event
Rating: G (will edit as necessary)
Summary: Slytherin open log!
The Story:

The Slytherin common room was a long, low underground room with rough stone walls and ceiling, from which round, greenish lamps were hanging on chains. A fire was crackling under an elaborately carved mantelpiece ahead of them, and several Slytherins were silhouetted around it in carved chairs.
The common room has changed, somewhat, from its historical description, thanks to the decorative powers of one Mettaton. Though it still extends beneath the lake and thus retains a greenish, aquatic cast, it's much more brightly lit, its cold, damp atmosphere replaced with dazzling MTT-brand warmth. Even the giant squid, occasionally peering in as it does its rounds of the lake, seems just a shade more glamorous inside such a charming space.
Students - and a ghost or two - can be found nestled within its confines, plotting mischief around the fire, studiously doing their homework (as good students do), or perhaps trading Chocolate Frog trading cards. Though Slytherin is not especially well-known for its wide-open, trusting nature, Slytherins are known for not snitching on each other; if a guest or two were to creep in for a while, then odds are, nobody saw anything.

[Awww, flattery will get you everywhere, kid.]
Hey, you're pretty cool yourself. That's why you're gettin' in the know. I gotta leave somethin' for people when I'm outta here.
no subject
[Not that it's hard for her to do get detention. She smiles at her.]
Thanks. Like a path for other people to follow to the coolest hideout places? That's a good legacy.
no subject
[She's glad she picked Clementine for this, honestly. The kid is great, and smart as a whip. Wendy can appreciate that.]
But yeah. Like, cool stuff passed from person to person. So there's always a cool kid hangout. Totally vital.
no subject
[Then she'll get to have potentially really fun, 'scary' detention. Clementine looks up to Wendy. She's cool. She knows what she's talking about, and she's got some awesome ideas.]
Way vital. Without a cool kid hangout, would there be any cool kids? No one would know who was cool and who wasn't. Total chaos. [She smiles in amusement, joking obviously, but also, the cool kid hangouts are so cool.]
no subject
I know, right? Gotta keep the hierarchy of coolness.
[She ducks her head down a hallway, and seeing it empty, motions Clementine along, quietly opening a door to a small, spiral staircase.]
Up here. It's a little ways, but it's so worth it.
no subject
[Clementine follows after, keeping her voice quiet as she looks up the spiral staircase. She smiles, looking up as high as she can, but she can't see much just yet. There's adventure in it. She likes adventure, and she'd forgotten that.]
I'm right behind you.
no subject
[She leads her up, taking care to take the steps quietly, before opening up a trapdoor at the top to a flat area of roof with two chairs and an umbrella set up, offering a gorgeous view of the grounds and horizon. She climbs out, offering a hand to Clementine.]
Welcome to the Roof Spot, capital R, capital S.
no subject
...woah, you weren't kidding. [She moves to the incredible view immediately.] How do you find places like this?
no subject
[She kneels to a spot in the middle between the chairs and wrestles a roof tile loose, where a makeshift minifridge pit can be seen, holding a variety of drinks. Thank goodness for spells to keep things cold.]
Want anything?
no subject
[Clementine moves over toward some of the chairs, sinking down on to one, as she catches sight of the minifridge. It makes her smile. She's not used to feeling like she fits in as well as she feels in Slytherin, at Hogwarts.]
Yeah. What have you got?
no subject
[She takes out a butterbeer for herself, using her wand to open the top.]
So what'll ya have?
