[OPEN] Second Lesson

Where: The oasis/jungle and the pyramid
When: Throughout the event! (From the 13th to the 16th!)
Rating: PG so far? It will be edited if need be. Being a DR character, mentions of murder/death could come at some point.
Summary: It's Ishimaru's first event! Let's see how he fares.
The Story:

[Out of the available clothing, Ishimaru ends up wearing the get-up with the high-waisted pants on the far right. Equipped with his kendo shinai along with the supplies he was given, he begins his new journey....]

A. To Explore

[Once more, Ishimaru finds himself waking up in a very unexpected place. At least, just like when he arrived in Wonderland, finding himself outdoors is a relief compared to the times he spent locked in Hope's Peak. He takes some time to regain his bearings and check his supplies.He then begins journeying onwards.

You can come across him when he's using his kendo shinai to try to push aside some foliage in the way.

Or he can approach you with a question:] Excuse me! Are you are aware of where you are right now? Are we anywhere near the mansion?

B. To Survive

[The journey continues onwards. Ishimaru is getting a bit worn, but he's been able to stagger out what food he had, and luckily he knew some tips about surviving in the wilderness from his studies. He makes his way towards the pyramid because of it being the only shelter.

But, during a lull between storms, Ishimaru suddenly finds some very undead interlopers standing in his way. He quickly attempts to fend some off with his shinai and run, but he can only hold them off/evade them for so long...

Or, you may also find him suddenly freezing up during an escape attempt, as if he's lost in some sort of a daydream. One about the Japan of long ago...]

C. To Remember

[Ishimaru made it to the pyramid! Hooray! But there's no time to celebrate, as on the last day, a change comes over the young man. Suddenly, there's a different type of intensity in his expression, and he wields the shinai with a much more trained hand. He searches the pyramid, trying to find someone and suspiciously eying everyone he comes across.]

Where could she have gone...? [He now believes that he is a young samurai who was assigned to bodyguard a certain someone...]

D. Wildcard?

[Hey Ishimaru, here's an annoyed shonen protag in outdated safari gear.]

Don't know where we are, but the mansion's probably going to be long gone for a few days.

[And she can't help but be relieved that he mentioned the mansion. Sounds like everybody's themselves this time around, and that's a good thing.]

[moraloutrage]

[FOR NOW

Ishimaru looks towards the girl curiously.]

But, how can you be sure of that?! If we search this area thoroughly, we may be able to find a way back to the mansion!

[uncoils]

[She'll consider this for a second, and then...]

You're new, aren't you?

[It's the only answer.]

[moraloutrage]

[He nods firmly.]

That is correct! I arrived in this world a week and four days ago!

[uncoils]

Thought so. So I don't know how to explain this and have it make sense, but the mansion's not coming back for a while.

[Sorry, buddy.]

Father... Ishimaru-san, where are you?

[At some point during this event, Sayaka herself also seemed to undergo a strange change. While she was still generally the same, she had a more refined aura and she spoke like someone who came from ancient Japan.

Right now, she was completely lost inside the pyramid. She was already out of breath due to running away from some of the natives and she was starting to feel scared, especially since she was all alone. Suddenly, she hears a sound that spooks her and she's yelling and running for her life, not paying attention to her surroundings.

It was then she accidentally collides into the young samurai. When she lands on the ground, she's covering her eyes in fear of it being one of those undead villagers. She doesn't even realize who she ran into.] I apologize! P-Please don't hurt me...

[moraloutrage]

[He had been inattentive as he wandered, lost in thought as he walked two lives at the same time. But then, he was snapped to reality when someone bumped into him. The person he had been seeking! He looks down at her with a silent gasp.]

I... I would never hurt you! [He drops his shinai and leans down to try to hold onto both her hands, to pull her back onto her feet.] I could never apologize enough for what just transpired! Are you alright?!

[idolings]

[Hearing the familiar voice instantly catches her attention and she slowly moves her hands away from her eyes. Her face immediately brightens up at the person that was standing in front of her.]

Ishimaru-san! [She smiles and gently holds onto his arm, she didn't want to end up splitting up with him for even a moment in this strange place.] No apologies needed! In fact, I'm the one who should be sorry for not recognizing you at first. I know you'd never hurt me.

Yes, I'm perfectly fine, just a bit spooked from those strange creatures. [She moves closer to him, as if she were inspecting him.] What about you? I hope you didn't get hurt...

[moraloutrage]

Maizono-sama! It is alright... I am fine! [He lets her hold onto his arm with a light flush as he wields the shinai in the other hand. He does have a hole in the left knee of his dorky pants, through which a small bandaged area can be seen, but for the most part he does look fine.]

I am immensely relieved that you are well. I was worried as I tried to find you! But... Now, you can be truly safe...

[idolings]

[From the corner of her eye, she did happen to notice a bandaged area around his knee. While she was worried as to how he got hurt in the first place, it made her relieved to see that he or someone was looking after him.] Looks like that wound was tended to. Did you do it yourself or did someone help you? If so, I must thank the person who so graciously helped my dear bodyguard!

I only feel truly safe when you are around. Truly I'm blessed to have such a wonderful bodyguard. Let me know if I happen to get in the way, though! I want to do my best to support you in anyway I can, especially since we are in this... unknown world.

B!

[hairdont]

[Between the heat and... the heat, Josuke's hair is beginning to droop and he is absolutely miserable about that fact. He certainly makes an interesting sight in his safari gear and drooping pompadour, and Ishimaru might be able to hear him angrily muttering to himself in the distance.

Which comes to a halt when he looks up at the sound of a struggle nearby.]

Hey!

[The call is more to distract the undead than for Ishimaru's benefit, but. Josuke charges, throwing himself fist first at one of the undead; a sickening crack sounds from the force of the punch, and another when the creature appears to be punched again despite Josuke not moving. Glancing back at Ishimaru, he speaks again.]

You alright?

[moraloutrage]

[Ishimaru was quickly losing ground and losing hope in this struggle. Luckily he hadn't been harmed yet, and suddenly an unexpected person came to his rescue! He gasped and paused for a moment as he beheld the stranger with his drooping pompadour. Even in its current condition, the hair style reminded him of someone he misses.

After that pause, Ishimaru nods at the stranger.]

Yes, I am well! And... I thank you for your timely assistance! [He nervously tries to keep his shinai steady, in case he needs to swat away more of the enemies. But at least this new ally is helping him to feel like the tides are turning!]

[hairdont]

Don't worry about it!

[Josuke calls over his shoulder as another fist connects with another mummy. It feels kind of weird to be punching pygmies like this, because it kind of feels like he's punching Koichi, but he's not about to let anybody get torn apart.]

When you can, run for it. I'll keep them busy and catch up with you.

[moraloutrage]

Incredible! [He's in awe seeing the stranger's strength in action. But he's tense as well and holds up his shinai, ready to try to swat some of the pygmies back.]

Are you sure that is alright, sir?! You should not have to face this on your own!

[hairdont]

Do you really want to fight them off with that?

[He's not trying to be condescending, but it didn't look like it was going well when he showed up and he'd rather protect those he can. Josuke nods in the direction of the pyramid.]

[naughty_nurse]

[As a nurse, it's usually Mikan's duty to help people after the damage has been done. She's never been there to prevent the damage from happening in the first place. And she sees Ishimaru like a sitting duck, and... there's a temptation. To let him get hurt. So he'll need her.

'But I... don't want to be that person again!'

She shakes in place - but then she runs toward him.]

Ish-Ishi-KIYOTAKA ISHIMARUUU!

[There is no tripping or falling - she will grab him and try to make him run with all of her strength!]

[moraloutrage]

[He was lost in a memory of learning the way of the sword in some other life. And the mummified enemy was ready to take advantage of that distraction with a spear thrust...

But Mikan pulls him out of the way at just the right time. Kiyotaka quickly snaps back to reality and starts running with her!]

Tsumiki-san! Th-thank you! I apologize... I do not know what happened just now!

[naughty_nurse]

[She's holding onto his hand and may not let go for a long time at this point. She's also crying.]

We've already lost so much because of Monokuma... I d-don't want to lose anyone else! I want to keep people alive! I don't want to lose my school-mate!

[moraloutrage]

[A-aw... Ishimaru tries to keep up with her while she has his hand, and with his other hand he's holding onto his shinai. Her words bring tears to his eyes.]

I understand exactly what you mean!! We have lost too many people... No more!! I- I wish to do my best to help, too! We can survive this, Tsumiki-kun!!

[naughty_nurse]

We can do it! All events end! W-we just... have to endure it! And there have been worse times than this! If someone as pathetic can me has survived this far... then you'll definitely make it!

[As far as events go, this one has to be the weirdest one Stefan's experienced yet. The outdated clothes are bad enough, but he sure can't stand his Dressed in equally outdated clothes, and ungelled hair. It keeps flopping into his face too much.

He adjusts his knapsack when he's approached, tilting his head a little at Ishimaru. Huh. So everyone's in equally strange clothes - good to know.]

I'm not sure. If it's anything like what I've heard, we're probably nowhere near the mansion.

[moraloutrage]

[Kiyotaka looks towards the older man attentively as he speaks and tugs at his own sack of supplies.]

No-nowhere?! [A nervous bead of sweat rolls down his forehead, but he's not about to give up yet.] Then we simply have to find our way back! I imagine that it will be quite the hike...!

[stefanged]

[Poor kid. Stefan can't quite help admiring that Determination, though - as weird as the mansion was, it had become home.]

Unfortunately. But we've got enough supplies to make it back, and it won't be so bad in numbers.

Do you, um - you're not gonna go by yourself, are you?

[moraloutrage]

If I have to, I will! [Except, he hesitates.]

Of course, it would be beneficial to travel in a group... and there are some others from my school here! I absolutely cannot leave them behind!

[stefanged]

I understand. My brother's here too.

[Even if their relationship may be complicated, Stefan still loves his brother more than the entire multiverse. His decision's pretty easily made then and there.

He holds out a hand,] So let's team up. Between the two of us, we should be able to find your classmates in no time.
