Summary: Wonderful parties are springing up all across Wonderland, but there are still plenty of other places to explore. This is a log for any new arrivals who want to experience different parts of Wonderland life, and any current guests not in the mood for a log or transmission of their own.

The Story:

On the morning of September 1st, everyone in Wonderland, on both Real and Mirror Side, will awake to find one of four possible invitations has been shoved under their doors. The glass has been carefully removed from all mirrors, and everyone will be able to cross to and from Mirror Side with ease, without forcing any sort of swap. The Queen of Hearts' chambers, discovered in the previous event, will be mysteriously inaccessible, leading only to a tearoom.

Additionally, there will be many more Wonderland guests than usual, each of them with their own random invitation and network device (wired to make replies only). As the week goes on, as per the invitations, more and more parties will appear (and everyone is invited to all of them, whether they received an invitation or not). But who brought them here? Why are there so many parties? Who is responsible for all of this exactly?

It's anyone's guess, though if parties or riddles are not your style, then there is always plenty more to see...

[ Natasha's in the coffee shop, since it's still early, nursing a steaming mug of coffee while idly reading a book. She might be absently people-watching herself, as she often is. With so many new faces showing up recently, there's plenty to observe, after all.

The Mirrors wandering over to their side, however, is something new and undiscovered so far. It's not something she's anticipating when she glances up to see Bruce walk through the door.

Which is why she glances up to offer him a wave in invitation before she pauses, her gaze narrowed slightly as she takes in the subtle differences in his manner and posturing this morning. ]

[dystonia]

[ He's not even actively looking for her yet when he finds her, but now's as good a time as any, he figures. Spares him the time of tracking her down when she's actively hiding, and it gives him a particular kind of pleasure to disrupt her early morning routine just to come say hi.

Despite the wave that never comes and the suspicious look she throws at him, he makes his way over, sliding onto the seat opposite hers, smile in place. ]

Natasha, [ If everything in his posture and mannerisms wasn't enough to give him away, his airy tone of voice certainly is. He's not even trying, honestly. ] I was hoping to run into you sometime.

Doctor Banner.

[ Quick to make the distinction, she straightens a little in her chair, hands folded on the table in front of her as she watches him, takes in... well, everything really. It's easy to tell he's not even bothering to try and fool her, which at least shows he's not an idiot.

Instead she plays mildly coy and curious as she assesses him. ]

Were you? Well, here I am.

[dystonia]

[ Bruce's eyebrows lift up a little, feigning surprise but bleeding amusement. He doesn't carry nearly as much tension as she does right now, in fact the more tense and uncomfortable she looks, the more relaxed and satisfied he seems. ]

I don't get a first name treatment? Aw. That wounds me.

[ Said as if this version of Bruce could even have his feelings wounded. A deliberate pause, he weighs his words, then decides to have a bit more fun. What is she gonna do, punch him? Right. She's not that stupid. ]

I assume a massage is off the table too...?

[widows_kiss]

[ Well. That explains what he's been up to lately, doesn't it? ]

It was never on the table. For you.

[ Was that blunt enough for you? ]

[dystonia]

[ Oh, he's been up to all sorts of things. The Mirror side is far from the most exciting place, after all, and Bruce likes to keep himself entertained, not to mention well-informed.

Also if he gets to creep her out a little bit, he'll call it an added bonus. ]

That's a shame, really. I could show you the time of your life.

[widows_kiss]

[ The smirks she gives him is comfortable and knowing. ]

You could try. I'm quite adept at handling that all on my own.

[dystonia]

[ Oh, Agent Romanoff, you make his little black heart skip a beat. (That's a bad thing, for the record.) ]

Hmm, promises. You shouldn't lead a guy on like that.

Maybe you shouldn't be so easily led.

[ She's pretty sure she can handle that, too. ]

[dystonia]

Not as easily as the other one, believe me on that.

[ There's some bite to that. Not that he doesn't find Natasha interesting, but it's almost pathetic how his Real version allows himself to be so easily played by her. ]

[widows_kiss]

[ She just smiles at him, knowing and perhaps a bit amused by the bite she can easily hear in his tone. ]

'Easy' is a matter of opinion. Are you jealous, Doctor Banner?

[ Is it wise to taunt the evil rage monster version of her favorite scientist? Probably not. But here they are. ]

[dystonia]

[ He lets out a dry, insincere laugh. ]

Of that poor excuse of a man? Spare me.

[ He tries really hard to act like she didn't just hit the mark dead on. Because she did. Of course he's jealous— if nothing else, jealous that he gets to be on this side, jealous of the amount of freedom he has... and how little he does with it. ]

Was that meant to be convincing? You're as bad a liar as he is.

[ She's really very good at hitting her mark, Bruce. ]

[dystonia]

Maybe I am—

[ He lands a hand on the table between them, standing up abruptly and leaning over. ]

But I'm much worse at playing nice. I'd be careful if I were you, Red.

[widows_kiss]

[ Natasha just smiles, showing absolutely no fear as she keeps herself on level with him, holding his gaze as she pushes to her feet across the table from him, refusing to let him intimidate her. ]

I'm always careful. [ Her answer is mild, steady, and she doesn't so much as blink, let alone flinch in the face of the threat he offers. Or, at the very least, hints at. ] It's you who should be careful, Doctor Banner. Make too much of a menace of yourself and you might not like the consequences.

[ She doesn't wait to let him react to that, hands picking up her coffee mug as she saunters towards the door, the heels of her boots clicking defiantly on the tile. She doesn't look back. ]
