Summary: Wonderful parties are springing up all across Wonderland, but there are still plenty of other places to explore. This is a log for any new arrivals who want to experience different parts of Wonderland life, and any current guests not in the mood for a log or transmission of their own.

The Story:

On the morning of September 1st, everyone in Wonderland, on both Real and Mirror Side, will awake to find one of four possible invitations has been shoved under their doors. The glass has been carefully removed from all mirrors, and everyone will be able to cross to and from Mirror Side with ease, without forcing any sort of swap. The Queen of Hearts' chambers, discovered in the previous event, will be mysteriously inaccessible, leading only to a tearoom.

Additionally, there will be many more Wonderland guests than usual, each of them with their own random invitation and network device (wired to make replies only). As the week goes on, as per the invitations, more and more parties will appear (and everyone is invited to all of them, whether they received an invitation or not). But who brought them here? Why are there so many parties? Who is responsible for all of this exactly?

It's anyone's guess, though if parties or riddles are not your style, then there is always plenty more to see...

[Parties are fine and good, but somehow things are less fun when they happen because someone plucked you out of your plane of existence and dropped you in actual Alice-style Wonderland. So Jeremy's eschewing all of that business and is instead investigating the premises. There's a tense young man creeping down the halls of several floors of the first mansion, and treading warily through the garden hedge maze as if he expects something to jump out and bite him. He's carrying a gym bag on his shoulder; someone with sharp eyes might notice the awkward bulges and angles within from the vampire-slaying mini-arsenal he's carrying around with him.

Eventually, he'll approach someone to sate the bigger question he's still not confirmed.]

[ It hasn't even been that long, but Bruce has been counting the days, the hours, the minutes.

His counterpart, in that boringly unsurprising way he has about him, had covered up his mirror even before Bruce managed to get a good glimpse of him and his bedroom, but it didn't matter. Well, it frustrated and angered him to no end, but there were plenty of other mirrors on the real side for him to peek through. If that pathetic excuse for a man thought Bruce hadn't been keeping an eye on him and everyone else around him, then he was very much wrong.

He made no plans, though. He just watched. And now, finally, he's on this side.

He's here without plans either, at least so far. He knows his opposite well enough to know he's probably hiding in one of his holes somewhere, so Bruce feels more or less at ease here, walking around Wonderland as if it were his own place. Seemingly much more comfortable and confident to those who might know him, he can be found literally anywhere on the mansion or grounds, looking, exploring, but most of all: watching you. ]

As Bruce's "EXPLORE ALL THE PLACES" journey brings him to the labspace, Fitz looks up from his computer only briefly. Everything is awkward and terrible between them now; he quickly focuses back on his calculations.]

[ Annie wakes up on a familiar beach.

It's weird, because like, she's been here before, she knows. She knows exactly where she is and she knows exactly the last time she was out here, but like. She left. She escaped. She got away. How the hell is she back here? That doesn't seem fair.

There's a ton of people milling around, but none of them are anyone she knows. No one from home, and no one she recognizes from before. It's lonely, and colder than she expects it to be on the beach. She pulls the comm device out of her pocket, but it won't let her post to the network, beeping loudly every time she tries.

With a sigh, she looks up the beach, toward the mansion. She knows there'll be a sweater in there, at least. ]

[James hasn't even had the opportunity to realize there are more people in Wonderland than usual. All he has is an odd invitation in the pocket of his cloak to a party sometime next week, which...different, but not immediate cause for alarm.

It does seem vaguely more crowded as he moves through the halls, but not in any way that strikes James as unusual. Everyone must have received invitations, so there's reason for people to be out and about.

Then, he nearly collides with someone on his way out the front door.]

Oh, sorry, I-- [He looks up though, and shock strikes him.] --Annie?!

[Seeing her after so long is such a shock that James jsut blurts out her name, with o regard to whether or not she'll actually remember him in return, and it hits him as soon as the word is out of his mouth. ...Oh, well. Can't take it back now. All he can do is hope for the best.]

One moment, Dean was scrabbling to not be dragged by a hellhound off the table Lilith threw him on; the next, he's hitting the floor of a room somewhere else. He lays there stunned for a moment, gasping for breath.

Then his current location registers and he scrambles to his feet, ignoring the pain in one leg to stand and look around. "I remember this..." he says to himself. A previous time of ending up in some weirdo place claimed to be Wonderland was bubbling back into his memory.

This place sure has some timing.

Sam is off on his mission to the other side of the mirrors when it happens. He's making his way through the hallway from one room to another, packed up as if going on a weekend trip... when he sees Dean. This one looks similar enough to the other that currently lives in the mansion, but... Sam knows. He knows better, knows the differences.

"... Uh," he says by way of announcing his presence, hovering. "... You okay, man?"

Why's he look like he's just seen a ghost, possible though that may be?

Ed had simply been walking down the street, head down and hands shoved into his pockets in classic 'don't bother me' fashion when from one step to the next, he goes from Germany to... somewhere else. His head snaps up almost the instant his location changes to find himself in a very familiar locale.

"Oh. I'm here again. That's nice. Fuck," he huffs, using a hand to brush his hair out of his eyes as the other one checks it's pocket, resulting in him fishing out the communicator he knew would be there. A quick moment of pressing buttons later, tells him he can't post, just respond. "Huh."

Well, there was that time when people who came back only did so on a temporary basis. Looks like it's the same for him. He shakes his head and starts looking around, checking for familiar faces. Time to see who he knew was still here.

Legion is also exploring the mansion.

They, however, are not seeking familiar faces, but unfamiliar ones. They had noticed the presence of the second mansion, as well as the sudden increase in population. An anomaly. Likely an "event", though their lack of experience rendered this conclusion difficult to verify.

They have decided to investigate.

Human, male, golden hair and eyes. They had not previously seen him, and he does not appear to be otherwise occupied; they approach.

"You are not a resident of this location?"

[They've been waiting for this. They've been waiting so long for this. It crept up like an itch in their bloodstream, burning and inexorable and insatiable, and now that they're free they can do whatever it is they please.

And, lucky them, this place is just packed with all sorts of new meat.

The child roams about with a Worn Dagger in hand, a locket swinging around their neck as they peruse the area, every area, with a vicious, locked intent. Hunting down anyone and anything that might pose an adequate challenge.

Unquestionably, they're looking for a FIGHT. Won't you indulge them?

[It was the most horrible sensation he could ever remember experiencing since waking up as a flower at all.

He was in Wonderland, just sitting in his room, and everything went black. Then he was back in the Underground, right where he had been left before any of this started, except... he was the flower. He'd turned back into the flower again. And now he was back here, plopped back in the Mansion's halls and the sensation of having part of his soul, losing it completely, then regaining it in rapid succession is enough to cripple him for awhile.

Asriel lays on the ground, clutching at his chest, digging shaky claws into the wool of his sweater. Back and forth and back and forth and how long was this going to go on?

Everything swells up all at once and he just starts screaming, the sound piercing through the halls.]

They've never got to meet him like this before. It's so new, and interesting. How intriguing. How novel. And they're even in a hallway, a la that stupid skeleton's hypocritical judgment. It's perfect, really! They've even got the Locket and Dagger his best friend uses!

They could play mind games, it's true. Shuffle up to him all quiet and demure like their Real would. But the mirrored blood is racing through their mirrored veins, adrenalized and exhilarating, and they just want to see him suffer.

So they stride forward, an edged smirk carving their stony features in half, and they slam the Dagger into the ground an inch from where he's lying, burying it almost to the hilt.]

[Frisk isn't sure why they suddenly have this invitation, nor why it transported them to yet another strange place. It's a little cooler here than Florida had been, though the lack of humidity makes running around with fur a lot less uncomfortable.]

[Of course, like any good RPG protagonist, they start exploring immediately. Searching through rooms, looking around the garden, exploring that hedge maze...the little child can be found just about anywhere on either the Real or Mirrorside in both their monster and human form. They look younger than the version of them 'native' to Wonderland, but they wear the same locket around their neck. The dagger strapped to their side is a lot less colorful, though.]

This was honestly getting to be a little ridiculous. Couldn't he stay in one world for a while? The multiple curses must have marked him in some way, because he was getting bounced around more than a tennis ball. And this one was...

"Wonderland? Are you serious?" He wasn't really talking to anyone in particular; he was just irritated by the situation in general. He needed a drink... There better be good alcohol in this place. Stuff that didn't make him shrink, preferably.

With Wonderland completely forgotten in all of the time that Martha's been gone, she wasn't at all prepared to be snapped back here and afflicted with years worth of memories that had been taken from her. Of course, she had heard that people could go back home for years only to suddenly find themselves here again, but...

All the same, she could see that a lot had changed since she'd last been here. There were new areas set up in the mansion, and she didn't recognize any of the faces that she passed in the halls.

Until she turned the corner and saw someone who had become very near and dear to her, even if she'd only just remembered.

"Dr. Whale!" Martha called out as she rushed over. "You're still here."

[Sometimes they'll have these dreams of walking down a long hall, but it's not as dark and dreary as the labs had been. Sometimes the hall extends forever, and sometimes they eventually wind up somewhere else. But this is different. This actually feels real, and they can see other people roaming these halls too, looking just as confused.

They... were in the canyon just a short while ago, weren't they? And there was that weird invitation. Something else is going on.]

[Well, this event is off to a great start, if this even is an event. There's what seems like a million new people around, an entire extra mansion, and all the damn Mirrors are crossing over and wreaking havoc. Or so he assumes. So far he's only seen two Mirrors wreaking havoc, but havoc they have indeed wreaked. It's annoying.]

[He's heading back indoors, actually walking instead of teleporting since he needed a bit of time to think, surreptitiously dusting grass and dirt off his hoodie. If Mettaton sees that he messed up this hoodie again, he's probably going to get a second vision from the fashion police. He'd really rather not deal with that right now.]

[He heads down a hallway and spots...a monster a few feet away. Not a monster he's ever seen before, and at a second glance, it looks more like one of the amalgamates than anything. A mishmash of shapes, and kind of...melty. The monster looks rather lost, and no one else is nearby, and the thing is standing in exactly the direction Sans is heading. He stops, appraising the monster for a second before speaking.]

hey, uh. just showed up here, huh? you've got that look. yeah, it's pretty jarring, right? i'm starting to think someone broke this place, heh. lots of new folks coming in. i can show you where the pamphlets are, if you want.

He closes his eyes and grits his teeth as he forces his temper down. Then he opens his eyes again and gives the nearest person a death glare. "There better be a damn good reason for this."

[Fiddleford is not entirely sure regarding the details of how he suddenly arrived here, but one thing is for certain: we're definitely not in Gravity Falls anymore.

Thankfully, he has not reached full-blown panic yet, despite the hand running nervously through his hair as he examines the items he has on his person. An invitation that, he's honestly starting to regret accepting, and what appears to be a communications device of some kind. The latter is the life preserver in this peculiar situation: if he can figure out how to use it to contact someone, then he can analyze the situation at hand more thoroughly.

Unfortunately, however, it doesn't look like we can post any messages ourselves, only reply to existing ones. Still, that doesn't stop Fiddleford from making an attempt otherwise as he fiddles with the device while occasionally looking up and eyeing his surroundings a tad warily for anything that might be too weird around here...]

He's been debating figuring out what's going on with that weird other mansion, but he also feels like it's a pretty obvious trap, so he's been loitering and waiting to see if anyone comes out of it in tact. But two kids-- no, not kids, huh. Two very familiar young adults catch Stan's eye. He squints across the way and wonders if his eye sight's getting even worse. But...that's gotta be them, right?]

[At some point Jolyne's going to make her way over to the party, but at this point there's just so many people that it's sort of hard to wander around the mansion without stopping to stare. It's not like Wonderland's deserted most of the time but even then, the mansion feels...full almost? It's weird.

She's trying not to bump into anybody, but if it happens, it happens.]

[Alternatively, she'll actually stop and chat someone up because they're new. She's not doing this to everyone, there's too many of you for that, but maybe someone looked cool or like they needed someone to talk to. And she can at least try and help with that.]

[And before there's any sort of partying going on, she's going to poke around on the mirror side of things, managing to make her way to that tea room. Which from what she remembers shouldn't be a tea room. So she's just standing around it looking confused.]

[Because this looks like all the other tea rooms in Wonderland, not anything out of the ordinary. Did she take a wrong turn or something? It's possible she's never been on this side before, but from what she remembers, she should be on the same side as those mirrors were.

...okay, so not a Wonderland merchant but a weirdo in a mask who happens to be a merchant. Zacharie's remarkably chipper about being yanked out of his game, however, and defaulted to his usual setup: let's sell shit.

Oddly enough though, he also seems to be pretty much everywhere. Real Side, Mirror Side or anywhere in-between (does Wonderland have an in-between?) it doesn't matter. If you need a merchant, he's there.

[Hello Zacharie, a small stripe child is staring at you. Not in a particularly friendly manner, but that's par for the course for this one. Sorry, but you happen to look very human.

FIGHTing shopkeepers is impossible, anyway, and in turn they can't attack you either, so Chara still feels marginally more safer here than they have the entire time since arriving in this place.]

[Even with the nonstop party going on, people have to sleep sometime, and Adrian's found that sleeping people tend to be so much more willing to chat with him. [He has made himself at home in Wonderland... for the few hours he's been here. Or days. He's lost track by this point. But you know what? Running around the place has really tired the poor guy out.

And you know what? He might be sleeping on your bed. Or if you're already sleeping in it, well, he's making himself at home right next to you. And he isn't exactly sleeping beauty.

He lays in the bed, his arms over his head, his peg leg hanging off the edge of the bed, his invitation on his chest as he snores so charmingly. His face is covered in soot, and if you squint hard enough, you may notice that a few tips of his hairs are still bright hot with embers. He itches his stomach with his prosthetic hand, muttering something in his sleep. Something along the lines of 'omnics' and 'scrap heap'.

Whoooaaa... Look at all these books!

[Maybe said a little bit too loudly for a library, but Connie can't help herself. She's never been to one so big and grand, with so many different books before, and she's more than a little excited about it.

Sure, being here is kind of weird, but she's trying to make the best of it- and this is definitely a great way to do that!

So, maybe you heard her when she came in, or maybe you found her gathering up as many new stories as she can- either way, there's an unfamiliar girl here in the library! Nothing too out of the ordinary about her- well, except maybe the huge pink sword she's got by her side that's nearly as big as she is. Can she even use that thing...?]

[For anyone that happened to see Connie in the library and wondered if she can even use that thing... the answer would seem to be yes.

Connie may be away from home for a few days, but that doesn't mean she's on vacation! She still needs to practice, after all- so, she's found a nice, open spot on the beach to do it. She also seems to be much more agile than you'd expect a girl her age to be- she obviously knows what she's doing, and knows how to do it well.]

[Clementine hasn't done much reading. She only recently learned how to live before the apocalypse happened, but there are so many books in the library. Sometimes she walks into it to stare at it all, wonder about picking out one or two to try reading, because she has all this free time now. Survival isn't the only focus.

She's noticed there seems to be a whole lot of new people around, and it's kinda hard to miss the girl with the giant pink sword in the middle of the library. Clementine has a gun on her in a holster, and a knife in its sheath at her ankle. She always carries weapons to protect herself.]

...is that a sword?

[ If anyone could greet an invitation to a party with a scowl, it was Harrison Wells. He snatches up the invite from the floor, flipping it over to see if there's any hint as to who left it — as if he even needs to ask though, knowing the mansion. He folds it up and shoves it into his pocket roughly, leaving it to be momentarily forgotten. Maybe West or Snow will have ideas. Allen? Well. Probably not. Harrison files that in the back of his mind as he steps out of his room, heading out towards the dining hall.

Funny thing though about making a daily habit of stalking through the hallways — one tends to notice when it's gotten more and more crowded in the general area. It had been easier to blend in and skulk through the mansion when the population was more manageable, for lack of better words. Now, not so much. Harrison pushes his way past a person here and there without much more than a grunt, making his way off in the general direction of the dining hall. ]

Do you mind?

[ . . . well. Maybe a bit more than a grunt there. ]

[ The dining hall is full of a lot of lingering smells, and Toothless knows precisely how it works from when he lived here. But more to the point, eventually, everyone shows up in the dining hall. ...Or most people do. He seems to recall a lot of people scrounging from their closets.

He no longer remembers where the rooms of people were, though, so this seems to be the best strategy to see if they're around. Even if it's a waiting game, and even if he might have to fall back on his nose to find them.

It's a hard-working nose, held close to the ground, and means that when he comes around the corner of a hallway -- on the way to the hall -- he's not really looking where he's going. Luckily, he's also not walking fast. So the accompanying bump to Harrison -- via his shoulder -- is gentle at most, and he raises his head with wide green eyes as he realizes what just happened.

Toothless makes a deep rumble in the back of his throat. An apology. This used to happen to him a lot, as he recalls. ]

i. the garden

Waking up in places he shouldn't be is nothing new. What is new is the sheer cartoonish nature of the whole place, bright flowers and sunshine and a mansion looking like it's stepped right out of some obscure fairy-tale looming up in the distance.

And he hasn't even crossed state lines before, never mind this.

He flexes his fingers into the dirt, a reflexive spasm of muscle, as he pushes himself slowly to his feet. He braces himself for the onset of coughing that doesn't come, the inevitable headache slamming between his eyes. But it never comes. His mind is...refreshingly, impossibly, clear.

What is this?

He picks over the area slowly, eyes darting nervously to and fro. Wherever he is, whatever this place is - he's sure as hell not in Alabama anymore.

ii. the roof

[He's burned through half a pack already, which is poor long-term planning and even poorer foresight on his part, but he needs some way to soothe his nerves. Because he's in Wonderland. In goddamn Wonderland of all places, straight outta the novel.

Unbelievable.

Well, no. Actually, considering his life, it's entirely believable. Entirely plausible. It just sucks that he's here, and now everyone has to deal with his assorted psychological, neurological, emotionally-repressed baggage.

So, yeah. It really fucking sucks. He blows out a plume of smoke, cigarette held easily between two fingers, as he steps closer and closer to the edge. Peers over. He can't fully fight back the vertiginous lurch when he glances down, but -

Well, it'd be a stupid idea, wouldn't it?

Yeah. It'd be a real stupid idea.

So he takes a reluctant step back.]

[There's a skeleton up here too. Sitting further down the edge of the roof, slippered feet dangling over the edge, staring out at all of Wonderland, at the second mansion in the distance. Wondering how the ever-loving fuck any of this is happening, and why. His Mirror self tried to kill him, there's approximately a million Frisks running around, and he just ran into some poor--some poor mish-mash human amalgamate who was absolutely devastated to realize that Sans had no idea who they were.]

[It's been a long day, and boy howdy, it's only the first day. He has a feeling this is going to linger.]

[There's some guy up here, doing that thing that humans do, with the--he thinks they're cigarettes. Some of the humans here use them. Mostly they just smell bad, and Sans is pretty sure he read somewhere that humans die from using them all the time, but whatever. Who is he to judge? All kinds of vices like that in the world, and if bad smells bothered him, he'd never be able to exist in his room.]

[He's fully ready to totally ignore the random human, but then the guy takes a step closer to the edge of the roof. Sans glances over at the movement. The human leans outward, looks down.]

[There's a lot of that going around lately, isn't there?]

[He says it as if he didn't just catch someone thinking hard about taking an extra step.]

[There's a seemingly young girl wandering the halls of mansion today, looking fairly lost and confused. Where's Walkure? Hayate? Mirage? Anyone on the Delta Platoon?? She sure doesn't know. But that doesn't stop her from exploring and figuring out her surroundings. That's what everyone else would do!!

And as she wanders the mansion, she's humming a song to herself. It's a little hesitant and quiet, but it's something to fill the silence.

Otherwise, she's popping up in front of the people she meets to simply go:]

Miss Tosaka? Nageki thinks at first. But no. The clothes are different and he's never heard Miss Tosaka hum to herself. He was walking in the opposite direction, seeking a quieter part of the mansion.

"Hello," he replies. Nageki is an abnormally large mourning dove by most world's standards, even if his size is perfectly normal within his own.
