Summary: It's your chance do your dance
The Story: After the culture festival wraps up on Wednesday afternoon, all students are invited to a dance in the gymnasium! There are snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic, of course!), as well as cheesy paper decorations made by the student council members.

[ okay, so, stiles has had a little to drink so far, sue him. but he's just had enough to have a good time--not that he has much in the ways of inhibition with his dancing anyway--and he's just downed another cup of punch when he's stopped by someone's hand in his collar. stiles jerks forward comically and nearly slips, his arms windmilling as he tries to right himself, and he looks over his shoulder to try and see who the culprit is, recognizing one of his classmates. ] Dude!

[ it's an offended "why'd you almost kill me" dude, not a "you are wrong" dude. well, maybe a little. grinning as he rights himself, he makes a hand gesture to blow it off. ] Oh, come on, dude, live a little.

I live plenty. You, however, won't be living for much longer if you keep dancing like an idiot. I've seen five-year-olds who dance better than you.

[ offended face!!! ] Oh, come on, I'm not gonna break anything. Besides, I'm just getting my groooove on.

[ he extends the syllables and bobs his head, but it's on purpose--he's mostly just doing it to be obnoxious. it melts into a grin a couple seconds later. ] Come join the rest of us plebians on the dance floor.

I'm only here for moral support and entertainment. You're ruining the entertainment.

[Yeah, he's so not amused]

Where's your boyfriend? Why doesn't he have a leash on you?

[ he basically splutters for a second, brain having to stop and reconnect at what-- ] Boy--what. [ aggressive denial: thy name is stiles stilinski ]

Dude, ruining the entertainment, talk of a life that's not desperate and single...you've totally got the wrong guy. My entire existence is someone's cruel entertainment.

Watching the hilarious colors you turn when I ask why Hale hasn't dragged you off to the bathroom for scandalous snogging yet.

[Rand just grabs his arm and shoves him in the general direction of not the dance floor]

That's not dancing, that's faking a seizure. Do something else before you hurt someone or get hurt by someone.

[ he goes stumbling two or three steps, arms windmilling a little as he gets his balance, then stiles straightens again and, very maturely, makes a face at rand. ] Was that a threat?

[And Rand just rolls his eyes]

No, because I don't want to have to deal with getting bloodstains out of leather.
