Summary: It's your chance do your dance
The Story: After the culture festival wraps up on Wednesday afternoon, all students are invited to a dance in the gymnasium! There are snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic, of course!), as well as cheesy paper decorations made by the student council members.

She laughed lightly. "I'm beginning to think that they're a little bit shy." Bela doesn't think she has given them a reason to be afraid of her. "It's a dance. You're supposed to be social and mingle with people." That's how Bela saw it at least.

"Some guys think dancing and girls are pretty terrifying," he counters, looking as if he's not one of them. "Put them together and it just gets more so."

"Not for you though." Bela can tell by the expression on his face and the confidence in his voice. "So, what are your classmates like?" She asks, beginning to dance to the song- it has an up tempo beat.

[luckynumberthree]

"Girls aren't terrifying unless they're my Nan," he answers, making a play of looking sufficiently cowed for a moment, grimacing. But then he just grins, brushing it off as he starts to dance with her, moving easily. He's not as great as some at dancing, but he's not bad either. "In fact, I'm not sure anything can ever terrify me again after that woman. And my classmates are pretty great, for the most part. Some pretty smart ones, but a bunch of us are pretty laid back. We had the speed dating stand for the festival, did you stop by? I don't think I saw you."

"Your Nan, hm?" He was becoming even more endearing by the second and not just because of his dance moves. If Bela was being honest, she wasn't the greatest dancer either but she didn't care, she was having fun.

To his question she shakes her head. "No, sorry. I didn't go to the speed dating stand. I was a little caught up in our own class project." Bela looks sheepish for a moment. "Was it a good turn out?"

"Terrifying is an understatement," he stresses, nodding solemnly, but he's in a good mood, especially since she seems to be having fun. "And yeah we did, I think. What about you? What did your class do?"

"We were telling people's fortunes; some of my classmates chose a specific theme within that but I was just general in my predictions." Which were all wrong and just in the spirit of fun. "It was good and a little bit silly."
