Summary: It's your chance do your dance
The Story: After the culture festival wraps up on Wednesday afternoon, all students are invited to a dance in the gymnasium! There are snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic, of course!), as well as cheesy paper decorations made by the student council members.

This is totally a date.

Now what kind of brother would Tommy be if he didn't check up on them, hm? What kind of brother would he be if he didn't see if Billy needed an excuse to tap out? An awful one, that's what.

He slings an arm around either of them out of nowhere.

Take that, potential awful brother status. This is a brother who cares.

"What are you two losers talking about?"

There are times when Billy really wishes he was an only child. He loves his brother more than Tommy likes him to admit but sometimes...sometimes he would very much like to murder him.

He jumps about a mile when Tommy slings an arm around him. He was sure Teddy was just about to kiss him at least he was hoping Teddy was about to kiss him.

He glared at his brother. "We were just wondering if there's a term for killing your twin."

Teddy's blushes when Tommy wraps his arm around his shoulder. He remembers Billy's brother from the Fortune Tellers booth and the Haunted House and while he doesn't mind Tommy hanging around, he would have preferred some alone time, especially since he was hoping to kiss Billy.

"And we're a little busy," Teddy says, trying to be as polite as possible without telling him to leave straight out.

He gets the hint, to be entirely honest. He's not an idiot. The fact of the matter is, though, that his role of being the big brother wouldn't be complete without this sort of behavior.

It's expected of him, really.

"Busy? Want to fill me in?"

Billy really wants to hide, or slam his head against a wall repeatedly.

"Oh, you know, dancing, which usually works out better as a two man activity," he knew Tommy would get the hint and then promptly ignore it, but he was trying anyway. Was it too much to ask for just a few I awkward moments on this date?

"And I was going to try to kiss your brother if you must know," Teddy said, still a bit irritated that his one moment had been ruined. He was so close and now Billy's brother was wanting details?

"I'm sure he'll fill you in with everything once we get a chance for anything to happen."

Obvious, Ted. You were obviously going to kiss his brother. Tommy looks at Billy then, as if waiting for an okay. Consider it your big brother's duty to make sure you don't get harassed by blond jocks.

Billy looked at Tommy knowing exactly what he was doing, and while grateful that his brother was looking out for him he was fine. He smiled.

"I'm good, Tommy, you should go find Natasha before someone steals her away."

If you're sure, Billy. He gives Ted another warning Big Brother Glance (tm), before grinning.

"Please, like anyone could steal her away from me. I'm totally going to get lucky tonight." And he was off, but not before saying as he ran-- "Be safe use a condom!"

Teddy felt his face turn red at the condom comment and he shook his head. "Your brother is..."

Rude. Obnoxious. Frustrating. Ridiculous.

"Special," Teddy said with a sigh. "I almost feel sorry for the girl you told him to go find. But, at least we're alone again."

Billy laughed blushing from his brother's comment. "He was making sure you weren't taking advantage of me, and...being Tommy. You get used to him."

He grinned back up at Teddy. "So, I believe you said something about kissing me?"

"Does that mean you want to keep me around if I'll be getting used to your brother?" Teddy asked, easily charmed once more by Billy's grin. Was the music still playing? Had it changed since they were distracted? Teddy didn't know nor did he care.

"I did say that, didn't I?" he said. "I'd still like to."

"That was the plan," Billy grinned mischievously up at him, giddy with the thought of kissing Teddy. "No kissing in the middle of the dance floor, it might give the first years ideas. Come with me." He linked his fingers with Teddy easily pulling him off the dance floor and into a quiet corner of the room, out of the prying eyes of their classmates.

Teddy laughed, easily led off of the dance floor. "And we wouldn't want to corrupt the little kids," Teddy laughed.

The music was much quieter over in the corner, his arm wrapped around Billy's waist and pulled the other boy close. His heart was beating so fast - this was the moment he had been waiting for, had been dreaming about. "So," he said, his voice low. "About that kiss..."

He let his eyes trail over Billy's lips and he leaned in close, capturing Billy's mouth in a searing kiss.

Billy leaned up and wound his arms around Teddy's neck returning the kiss and trying not to grin against the other boy's lips. This was what he'd been thinking about since he'd first laid eyes on Teddy, and it definitely did not disappoint.

It was everything Teddy had wanted. He couldn't imagine a better kiss. This one made him feel hot and cold at the same time. It left his head spinning even as he was grounded to one spot with his arms around Billy. The world faded away and all that was left was this moment. Teddy had to break the kiss or else he risked forgetting to breathe.

"Wow," he whispered softly. It was the only word he could come up with.

Billy laughed, his arms still around Teddy's neck. "Wow indeed," he said quietly brushing their noses together playfully.

"I think we should have done this first," Teddy grinned, keeping his forehead close to Billy's. He didn't want to break the close contact. It felt as though they were the only people in the room. "It would have stopped me from babbling on and on."

Billy laughed. "You're kind of cute when you babble though," he said grinning at him.

[hulk_ling]

"Only kind of," Teddy winked at him. "I think I'm more cute when I'm kissing you."

He looked down at Billy's mouth again and kissed him, not caring about anything else. He'd always heard that first kisses were awkward, nose bumping , uncoordinated affairs. That kisses only got better with practice. But kissing Billy had already sent his head spinning and the second was proving to be just as dizzying as the first.

Billy hummed his approval against Teddy's lips. This night was going much better than he anticipated.
