Summary: It's your chance do your dance
The Story: After the culture festival wraps up on Wednesday afternoon, all students are invited to a dance in the gymnasium! There are snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic, of course!), as well as cheesy paper decorations made by the student council members.

[Again, he doesn't seem to mind. He is a babbler, there's no denying that.]

Anyone you've got your eye on? I mean, I'm not a social butterfly but I am in a lot of clubs. I know a lot of people.

[She shook her head, and even though it was an honest gesture, it somehow still felt...wrong.]

It's been just me and the refreshments table all night. We've gotten to know one another pretty well, but I'm not sure things will last.

[He grins a bit.] Not to break your heart or anything, but I'm pretty sure the table is married to its job.

I'd know, I've been courting it all night myself.

Really?

Well, if you can't get its attention, then there's probably no hope for me.

A girl like you? I bet you could bring that table to its knees simply by batting your eyelashes. Or anyone you're into, really.

[keeperfromtheflame]

[The mere idea was so ridiculous to her, and she was in such a good mood, she decided to "test' his theory. By purposely batting her eyelashes at him that, at first, seemed flirty and genuine...but the longer did did it...the more ridiculous it got.]

You mean, like this?

[A laugh, and he places a hand on his chest as if he's just been struck.]

You've to be more careful with that! You're supposed to only use your seduction powers for good.

That's no fun.

[His reaction pleased her. Far more than if it had actually "worked". She was never one for sly seduction and being coy. She'd rather laugh and enjoy herself around somebody with a similar mindset.]

[Oh, good, she was going along with it. He had been afraid, for a moment that she'd not find his sense of humor fun and look at him weird.]

Well, now you've got a brokenhearted boy over here. I demand compensation.
