For the duration of this event each character will discover that their room has been replaced with one of their own memories, one that they find themselves particularly happy or "at home" in. More information can be found here.

"I see why humans keep killing themselves in these things," Lucifer continues, as though he hadn't heard. Castiel ought to know by now that Lucifer would not be constrained by him of all angels.

"What can the appeal be, Castiel?"

It's not as if Castiel truly expected Lucifer to leave simply because he asked him to. That would be far too simple. He doesn't have the kind of power to force him out, either, and that would end up being more trouble than it was worth, so here they are.

"The only faster way they can travel is by airplane," he points out, "and Dean..."

He pauses. He shouldn't be telling Lucifer about any of Dean's phobias.

"Dean prefers to travel this way, I assume so that he can see the countryside with his own eyes." As far as Castiel can tell, it's the only interesting part of driving.
