Well, this is awkward. Dean doesn't usually just burst into the room of an obviously teenage girl, yet here he is and she looks-- upset. But the memory, he thinks, has mostly to do with that, and he can see why. Whatever it is that had gotten all these people up to this point seems like a fight, a journey, and a struggle.

Still, he turns to her, his voice low.

"This is, uh--" he fumbles with his words for a moment, the pushes aside the feelings that must be hers rather than his. "Intense memory, huh?"

He might as well try to be decent about it all, instead of going hunter on her about how so many people had kept their supernatural identities a secret. He'd always known there were werewolves in Wonderland, but who exactly and what type-- he hadn't known until right now. At least most of them are gone.

There's a very small nod, and Lydia tries to compose herself better - to reel her emotions back in and down again, and to pull her tears away. Turning her back on what is happening helps a little, although Lydia can still hear it - still remember it. She hadn't thought about this moment in a long while, especially not with what had happened since.

Things never rested - at least not for long. Even in Wonderland that was true although Lydia was thankful that it had never really been a supernatural problem, or that they had yet to run into trouble with hunters.

Yet. She knew that Dean was a hunter, and he was probably the worst person to see this moment. Some of these people were still in Wonderland.

"It happened a while ago." She would have said a long time but it feels longer than it has been - although if you include her year here maybe it now is a long time.

He's the worst person to see this, yes, but attacking Lydia about it, right here and now won't do him any good. And even if he wanted to, he can't-- not with her radiating a sort of sadness and tension. Still, he can't entirely brush this all off, so Dean gathers himself, eyes on the memory again, on everything that happens in it.

"What is he?" Or was.

It's important to know, he has to know. This... Jackson guy might not be in Wonderland at the moment, but were he ever to show up, then god only knows they could be in some kind of trouble. It's never great when teenagers have supernatural abilities. They make the dumbest decisions, which more often than not result in other people losing their lives...

That of course makes him wonder if Lydia is human herself. But one thing at a time.

"A werewolf."

It's a quicker answer than Lydia wouod have expected - a brief pause but little hesitation in speaking the words. He's already seen what has happened, he probably knows some of it anyway. He's Dean Winchester.

But he also said is. Is is the most obvious thing given that Jackson isn't the only werewolf in the room? They're easier to recognise but a kanima? That was new and surprising. It's understandable that even Dean Winchester has to ask about it.

"He was a kanima. Becoming a werewolf saved his life."

Just so he knows the stakes. Mr Argent possibly wouldn't have been on board with that if Scott hadn't proven himself against the werewolf stereotype.
