Summary: Wonderful parties are springing up all across Wonderland, but there are still plenty of other places to explore. This is a log for any new arrivals who want to experience different parts of Wonderland life, and any current guests not in the mood for a log or transmission of their own.

The Story:

On the morning of September 1st, everyone in Wonderland, on both Real and Mirror Side, will awake to find one of four possible invitations has been shoved under their doors. The glass has been carefully removed from all mirrors, and everyone will be able to cross to and from Mirror Side with ease, without forcing any sort of swap. The Queen of Hearts' chambers, discovered in the previous event, will be mysteriously inaccessible, leading only to a tearoom.

Additionally, there will be many more Wonderland guests than usual, each of them with their own random invitation and network device (wired to make replies only). As the week goes on, as per the invitations, more and more parties will appear (and everyone is invited to all of them, whether they received an invitation or not). But who brought them here? Why are there so many parties? Who is responsible for all of this exactly?

It's anyone's guess, though if parties or riddles are not your style, then there is always plenty more to see...

Perhaps the best description, using things familiar to Ed, would be that they resemble an entire person made of automail.

"I judge this likely. I have not been here long."

They stare at him curiously for a moment.

"You believe your stay is temporary?"

[seekinghome]

"Last time I was here, we got a big influx like this who only stuck around for a few days," Ed explains. "I'm fairly sure that's what's going on here. I could be wrong, obviously, but I don't think I am."

Please, Wonderland, don't prove him wrong. He'd like to get back to Al.

"Acknowledged." They pause for a moment, considering. "I am attempting to learn about this location, so that I may attempt to return to my universe. Would you be willing to elaborate on the nature of this previous event?"

[seekinghome]

"It's been awhile, so I'm almost certainly forgetting some things," Ed says, pausing for a moment to cast back his memory. "I believe in that case there was a party being thrown by the Red Queen. The mirrors dividing the sides were down then, too since she wanted everybody to be able to join. There were people who had been here before brought back, and I think some new people. I don't know if there's anyone brought here who's entirely new to Wonderland because I have no way of telling if someone was simply brought here after I went home and who got here at the same time I did."

"Acknowledged. I appreciate your willingness to exchange data."

After a moment, they realize they should probably introduce themselves.

"I am Legion, a terminal of the Geth."

[seekinghome]

"I'm Edward Elric. I'm usually just called Ed." Okay, he's letting his curiosity kick in now. He's not going to remember the answer when he's sent back to Germany, but he may as well ask so it isn't bugging him while he's here. "What are the Geth?"

[forwearemany]

"Acknowledged."

Legion creates a new file. Edward Elric, also referred to as Ed, Human, male, previous resident.

"The Geth are a machine race originally created by the Quarians."

[seekinghome]

"And they are?" He feels like his question was evaded. Not that he doesn't evade with the best of them, but come on. He doesn't see any point in doing so.

[forwearemany]

"The Quarians are an alien species from the planet Rannoch. It is unlikely you will be familiar with them." They aren't quite intending to evade, but when no one has any prior knowledge of their universe, it's hard to give a succinct and satisfying answer.

[seekinghome]

"You would be right. Is there a chance they might come up in a book in the library?" He's not going to bother wasting time on research he isn't going to remember while here, but he could probably do with something to read when he needs a break from the crowds.

[forwearemany]

"My exploration of the library is insufficient to answer this inquiry." They don't actually know if there are any books on Quarians.

"There is a Quarian Creator currently residing in Wonderland."

[seekinghome]

"Maybe I'll meet them when I'm not occupied with trying to find people I knew." Considering Ed is pretty sure he has a limited amount of time here. It's the only reason he isn't flipping out about not seeing his brother so far.

[forwearemany]

"Acknowledged." It is understandable that this mission would be of higher priority.

"Who do you seek?" Perhaps they can provide assistance.

[seekinghome]

"Hmm. It's a long shot, since he got sent home before I was, but considering I'm back, a guy named Greed. He has long black hair that's typically in a ponytail and purple eyes. Along with an ouroboros on the back of one hand." Ed knows full well what Greed was sent home too, since a Winry from the appropriate timeline was here the last time this occurred. This is basically his last chance to see him.

[forwearemany]

"Acknowledged. If I see him, I will inform you." They do not know this, but they understand the desire to interact with allies. If Edward will only be here temporarily, then time for this is limited.

They intend to explore and interact with new arrivals. It would not be difficult to "keep an eye out".

[seekinghome]

"All right," Ed says, rubbing at the back of his neck. "I should probably go see who is here."

Along with maybe getting something to eat. It's been awhile since he's last eaten.

[forwearemany]

"Acknowledged. I will continue my quest for data."

And they're just... gonna leave now. Probably find someone else to bother.
