+ FOURTH WALL EVENT: GENERAL NON-PARTY MINGLE POST +

Who: E V E R Y O N E
Where: Everywhere that isn't one of the parties! Both Sides!
When: Sept 1st to Sept 10th
Rating: G to PG-13 (please label higher ratings, thank you!)
Summary: Wonderful parties are springing up all across Wonderland, but there are still plenty of other places to explore. This is a log for any new arrivals who want to experience different parts of Wonderland life, and any current guests not in the mood for a log or transmission of their own.

Please also see THE FOURTH WALL MASTER POST for rules, information, and all the fun parties you can visit!
The Story:

On the morning of September 1st, everyone in Wonderland, on both Real and Mirror Side, will awake to find one of four possible invitations has been shoved under their doors. The glass has been carefully removed from all mirrors, and everyone will be able to cross to and from Mirror Side with ease, without forcing any sort of swap. The Queen of Hearts' chambers, discovered in the previous event, will be mysteriously inaccessible, leading only to a tearoom.

Additionally, there will be many more Wonderland guests than usual, each of them with their own random invitation and network device (wired to make replies only). As the week goes on, as per the invitations, more and more parties will appear (and everyone is invited to all of them, whether they received an invitation or not). But who brought them here? Why are there so many parties? Who is responsible for all of this exactly?

It's anyone's guess, though if parties or riddles are not your style, then there is always plenty more to see...

[Oh, good. It's not quite Clint, but at least Clint has another friend who understands the "normal person doing crazy things around people with superpowers" dilemma. Relief floods her features, and she makes her way toward the redhead, a palm settled at the small of her back to help the process along.]

Oh, I can't tell you how glad I am to see you, Natasha.

[There will be hugs! Just... Give her a second to get there.]

[ Natasha's quick to hurry towards her, reaching out to offer her a hand, her expression worried but fond. ]

I can imagine. Did you just get here?

It was a little bit ago... but if you don't mind me asking, where is "here" exactly?

[Is it not safe to be having this conversation? She probably shouldn't be here at all distracting them from their work.]

[ 'Safe' is a relative term at the moment. Like Laura, for instance. Just how pregnant are you? That looks highly uncomfortable, she suspects. ]

Wonderland.

[ The answer is blunt, and Natasha grimaces. ]

And yes, I know how ridiculous that sounds, but here we are. Come on, there's a tea room through this door, you can sit.

Wonderland.

[She repeats it, testing out the sound of it in her tongue. She doesn't laugh; this isn't the kind of thing Natasha would joke about.

In either case, her attention is captivated the moment sitting down is presented as an option. ]

That sounds amazing. Nathaniel's taking after his aunt and getting into the kicking business.

[He's also seventeen thousand pounds. Give or take.]

[ It's becoming something Natasha will joke about, if only out of necessity, but to a newly-arrived and very pregnant Laura? Not even close.

Although the mention of the problem itself has Natasha glancing down at the woman's rounded stomach with mingled fond amusement and exasperation. She pauses to lean in, giving the location a narrowed gaze. ]

It's a good start, but you're still a traitor.

[ Right. Chair, sitting. Fortunately the tea room has both a table with a pair of chairs under the window and a long sofa set before a little fireplace. Natasha glances over to Laura as she hesitates inside the doorway, to see which the woman would prefer for comfort. ]

[Laura gravitates to the chair's immediacy, lowering herself into it slowly. She chides herself over this sometimes; by the third pregnancy, she really ought to have the late-term issues handled by now.]

We'll be sure to hold him accountable for all his crimes as soon as we can look him in the eye and tell him so.

Yeah that never works. [ Natasha's voice is wry as she helps Laura sit before moving to the chair across from her. ] Baby charm is lethal. He'll have you wrapped around his tiny fingers in three seconds flat. Especially if he takes after his aunt.

I think baby charm works better on my husband. He changes fewer diapers.

[She matches Natasha's smile with one of her own.]

Is he here?

You should fix that. Changing diapers would be good for him, I'm certain.

Of course he is. [ Her tone is wry. ] If there's something weird going on, of course Clint finds out how to be smack in the middle of it. Even if it's in another universe, apparently. He's reliable like that.
