+ FOURTH WALL EVENT: GENERAL NON-PARTY MINGLE POST +
Who: E V E R Y O N E
Where: Everywhere that isn't one of the parties! Both Sides!
When: Sept 1st to Sept 10th
Rating: G to PG-13 (please label higher ratings, thank you!)
Summary: Wonderful parties are springing up all across Wonderland, but there are still plenty of other places to explore. This is a log for any new arrivals who want to experience different parts of Wonderland life, and any current guests not in the mood for a log or transmission of their own.
Please also see THE FOURTH WALL MASTER POST for rules, information, and all the fun parties you can visit!
The Story:

On the morning of September 1st, everyone in Wonderland, on both Real and Mirror Side, will awake to find one of four possible invitations has been shoved under their doors. The glass has been carefully removed from all mirrors, and everyone will be able to cross to and from Mirror Side with ease, without forcing any sort of swap. The Queen of Hearts' chambers, discovered in the previous event, will be mysteriously inaccessible, leading only to a tearoom.
Additionally, there will be many more Wonderland guests than usual, each of them with their own random invitation and network device (wired to make replies only). As the week goes on, as per the invitations, more and more parties will appear (and everyone is invited to all of them, whether they received an invitation or not). But who brought them here? Why are there so many parties? Who is responsible for all of this exactly?
It's anyone's guess, though if parties or riddles are not your style, then there is always plenty more to see...

Tohru Honda | Fruits Basket | Former Resident, OTA!
[It takes Tohru a moment to realize what's happened. She was so sure she had been walking home from work like always, but now suddenly it's day time, and she's in a lush, beautiful garden. It might be the most beautiful garden she's ever seen! Such beautiful flowers...
But then it sinks in - she's seen these flowers before. She's been here before. This is--!]
...A-Ahh! This is...I'm in Wonderland again! Oh my gosh, how did this happen?! And why do I...
[How can she possibly be remembering Wonderland? It's been such a long time since she's been here. Anxiously, she reaches into her pocket and feels for her green notebook, the one that she keeps her mother's picture in, and she's immediately grateful to find that Mom is still with her. With her most immediate worry settled, she's able to walk around Wonderland, school bag in hand, looking for anyone or anything familiar.]
B. THE DINER (Sept. 1st)
[Of course, she eventually makes her way inside, up to the eighth floor diner. In many ways, the diner became home for Tohru during her time in Wonderland, and her coworkers were like a little family...like the Sohmas. It's strange to think that her stay in Wonderland was actually longer than her stay with the Sohmas has been.
The diner is quiet when she first gets there, which is understandable - there's a party going on, after all, so people might be getting something to eat there. She still can't help visiting though - she wonders who's there these days, if any of her old friends are still around.]
Excuse me? [She peeks behind the counter when she doesn't immediately see anyone.] I don't mean to intrude...is anyone here?
C. THE DINER (whenever else)
[Tohru, being Tohru, spends a significant amount of her visit in Wonderland right back in the diner as though she never left it. She'll still take time to visit some of the parties and get in touch with anyone she thought she'd never see again, but it doesn't seem right to not give the current diner workers a hand.
This is a catch-all for anyone who wants an easy place to find her]

At the moment, however, he is there, back in the kitchen re-organizing something in a cabinet because he really doesn't have much else to do. When he hears Tohru's voice, he turns so quickly he actually manages to hit his head on the frame of the cabinet. It's a glancing strike, at least, and it doesn't stop him from backing up on his knees and getting to his feet to go meet her.]
Tohru.
[Though his happiness doesn't broadcast in his tone or his expression, there is warmth in both.]
You came.
no subject
O-Oh my gosh, your head! Are you okay? That really must have hurt! I'm so sorry for startling you.
[She feels terrible that she accidentally made him hurt himself, but once it's evident that he's okay her worry fades a little.]
I'm not sure how but...mm. I'm here! [She laughs, gently.] It's been a long time, Souji. It's so good to see you!
no subject
[Though he'd always appreciated her presence, he didn't realize just how much she brightened things up here until she was gone.]
Has it been a long time at home? [Her home obviously.]
no subject
[Honestly though, thinking about it makes her head hurt.]
no subject
To get off of that particular subject, he gestures for her to come over to the counter.]
I have something to show you.
[He crouches down and pulls out the photo album she started, setting it down, front cover up.]
no subject
It's still here? You...you kept it after all this time...
[She's so touched that she might actually cry. Her eyes are already starting to water, but she tries to blink them back.]
Can I...may I look at it?
[She asks because it's polite, but she knows already that she's allowed, so...she opens it gently, as if she's afraid it might dissolve under her fingers and stop being real.]
no subject
I didn't start adding new pictures until recently, so there aren't as many as there should be.
[But he has managed to get a lot of new ones in in a short amount of time.]
C
And then he's further surprised because--]
Tohru!
[He stands up, hands roaming around uncertainly in the air for a moment before he gives into his impulses, hops the counter, and pulls her into a hug.]
This place has been so much worse since you left.
C
Sirius! It's so good to see you!
[She takes the rest of it at face value though, and her smile immediately fades to alarm.]
Oh no! Really? I'm so sorry! I hope it hasn't been too bad...are you okay?
[With how Wonderland is, it's not exactly hard to believe it might have truly gotten worse in the time she's been gone.]
no subject
No! No, I mean it's been-- Well, I just meant that I missed you. This place was easier when I knew you'd be here in the diner every day, know what I mean?
no subject
[Her cheeks have gone so pink. She knows it's not her fault, but it's hard not to feel bad when she knows that he missed her as much as he did. She wishes things didn't have to be that way...]
I missed you too though! --or, at least I did once my memories came back? That sounds so terrible though!
no subject
You didn't have any control over it. I imagine if you did you'd have told everyone by now, eh?
[He grins and lets her go. He leans back onto the counter and just looks at her for a moment. God. Even now, he misses her. He's missing her in anticipation of this event ending and sending her home. Bugger this place.]
Did-- did you see that Souji's kept your photo collection going?
no subject
Mm! He showed me. I almost can't believe it...when all of my memories came back and I remembered it, I didn't think it would still be here! But it is, and Souji continued it...that means so much to me. I'm so glad.
no subject
It was such a thoughtful idea. So many people come in and out of here, and it's so easy to--
[He almost says "forget", but with all the more serious forgetting that happens in Wonderland, it almost seems tactless to put it that way.]
It's nice to have a reminder of the friends who've gone home, as happy as I am that they're out of this place.
[Speaking of.]
Are you from any further along? Anything exciting happen back home?
C
[Where "here" is is still a matter of speculation. It's certainly not anywhere Jack recognizes in Rubrum, but the accommodations are pretty damn nice, gotta say. Stepping into the larger of the two mansions had stirred a similar kind of awe to when he'd first stepped foot in Akademeia.
Wandering into the diner with his arms folded behind his head, Jack is busy admiring the mansion's sights. Akademeia had had plenty to offer, too, but not this many restaurants so close together.]
This is nice and cozy.
C
[Tohru hasn't been back long at all, but she's already fallen back into her old habits of working too much at the diner. But they're understaffed and they could really use the help! She remembers what that was like.
So, she comes right out to greet the newest patron, a smile on her face.]
Can I get anything for you?
no subject
At least this Wonderland place isn't that.]
Um, you wouldn't happen to have a map or a Moogle, would you?
no subject
Ah...I'm sorry, but I don't. Or, at least, I don't think so? I've never heard of a Moogle before...
[With no way of knowing what a Moogle could possibly be, she's naturally assuming it must be a food dish of some kind.]
no subject
[He laughs. See? Joke. He does that from time to time. Those things would be nice, but he's been in Wonderland long enough not to bank on them.]
I don't think Moogles would be on the menu, though they do kind of look like balls of cotton candy with eyes and a mouth. What do you recommend?
