Summary: Wonderful parties are springing up all across Wonderland, but there are still plenty of other places to explore. This is a log for any new arrivals who want to experience different parts of Wonderland life, and any current guests not in the mood for a log or transmission of their own.

The Story:

On the morning of September 1st, everyone in Wonderland, on both Real and Mirror Side, will awake to find one of four possible invitations has been shoved under their doors. The glass has been carefully removed from all mirrors, and everyone will be able to cross to and from Mirror Side with ease, without forcing any sort of swap. The Queen of Hearts' chambers, discovered in the previous event, will be mysteriously inaccessible, leading only to a tearoom.

Additionally, there will be many more Wonderland guests than usual, each of them with their own random invitation and network device (wired to make replies only). As the week goes on, as per the invitations, more and more parties will appear (and everyone is invited to all of them, whether they received an invitation or not). But who brought them here? Why are there so many parties? Who is responsible for all of this exactly?

It's anyone's guess, though if parties or riddles are not your style, then there is always plenty more to see...

[Okay, maybe it's time to come a little clean.]

Don't take it too hard. I'm internationally ranked. Not at this game, exactly, but once you're good at one all the mechanics are about the same. This is like, my job!

Your... job is playing games??

[Connie looks confused by that, as well as pretty impressed, because, well... that does sound kind of cool!]

My parents always gave me the impression that people that play too many games were all like, lazy shut-ins with no real life. I didn't know you could do that professionally!

Yeah! I've got a whole team, but I'm captain because I've won the most. I haven't had time to play games more recently, though, because my job kinda shifted to fighting real monsters instead of fake ones.

[Y'know, beasts running out of the sea and stuff. She feels like an anime protagonist so she poses a bit to match, putting her fingers up in the winning v.]

We've never lost!

Wait, really?? That's...! well, I guess I kinda fight monsters too, actually, but it's still really cool!

[Connie laughs a bit about managing to forget that for a second, and that Hana's story actually isn't something crazy and impossible that Connie could never aspire to.]

You fight monsters? All by yourself? Jeez, I didn't start moving to like, real guns until I was 18 at least.

[She can't imagine going solo- whether it's her MEKA team or her Overwatch one, she knows she'd be dead in the water. And like, sure, she's doing dangerous stuff, but at least she's an adult. Sort of? Not really.]

Well, from one fighter of justice to another, it's nice to meet you! I'm Hana, Hana Song, better known as D.Va.

No, not by myself! [Connie waves her hands in front of herself, wanting to quickly dispel that idea- it's giving her WAY too much credit.] I'm just a small part of a team. Really, I'm still in training, and I only went on my first official mission pretty recently. I don't use guns, either- I just stick with my sword. [She gives a tap to the pink hilt on her back- still no place to really put it, after all.]

I'm Connie Maheswaran! It's really nice to meet you, Hana. Your life sounds really exciting!

It is! I don't really use, like, regular guns either? I mean, I have a little handgun, but that's just backup.

[She pulls out her phone, swiping through some pics before she comes across the right photo, showing it off to Connie.]

This is mine! Everybody's got their own but I wanted mine to be pink. The gun is just in case I have to leave if it gets too damaged.

[But that doesn't happen... too often.]

I always thought swords were so cool though! I have a friend who's reeeeally good with them but he said it took years to master. What's your team like?

Whoooooa... You pilot a mech??? That's so cool!!

[Easily in the top 5 of coolest things Connie has ever seen, and the number one coolest non-magical thing she's seen.]

I've only been training for a few months, but I have a really good teacher! She's part of the team, and they're all really great! They're the Crystal Gems, and they're like... a group of superpowered magic... [...Aliens? It kind of took Connie a while to learn that part. Maybe it's a secret?] ...women, that fight monsters and protect Earth and stuff?

My friend, Steven- he's half Gem, is basically being raised by them, so he can learn how to use his powers and help out! And I want to be able to help him out too, so... that's why I'm learning to fight!

Yeah! My meka is the best. Sometimes I can even make it explode.

[It's soooo cooooool. But wow, Connie's life sounds equally sweet.]

That's sooooo cool though! It sounds like a magical girl show, and you get to be part of it! Superpowers sound like they would be awesome.

[She kind of knows people with superpowers. Sort of. Like, Lena can time travel, so Hana thinks that counts. What about Genji's glowy dragon thing? That probably counts too.]

Explode? Is that... safe? I mean, you're here talking about it so I guess it is, but wouldn't it be a pain to get another mech?

It really kind of is! Steven even likes those kinds of shows, so I wouldn't be surprised if he goes out of his way to make things more like that sometimes! [At least, she thinks he does. She's seen a Sailor Moon manga by his bed a few times, at least.]

Superpowers are the best!! It's so amazing, being able to like, float around, and make shields from nowhere, and just be superstrong and stuff... I mean, not that I can do any of that, but Stevonnie can!

Kiiiind of. They don't like it when I do it, but I can call in another one. Or sometimes I've just had to, like, sidesaddle on my team. But when you sink it right, it's awesome.

[She listens as Connie talks, though, and like... that still sounds wicked.]

Stevonnie? Is that, like, one of your friends or part of your magical girl team? Ooh, do you all have cute outfits? Because battle outfits are, like, required.

I guess so! Self-destructing is a pretty nice last resort! And I guess it doesn't matter as much when you've got a team backing you up, huh?

[Connie shakes her head a bit, smiling widely as she explains.]

No! Stevonnie is like... the name of the fusion between me and Steven? It's magic stuff. They're really, really great, though! They're so good at what they do, and they're so talented, and strong, and it's... it's really great to be them with Steven! I kind of get why Garnet stays fused all the time.

I have an outfit that I use for training, but other than that, no. We don't really have uniforms? All the gems are dressed really differently, and like... they don't really change their clothes, anyway?

They have stars on them, though? Like, I guess that's kind of the common thread between them. Shows they're a member of the Crystal Gems!

[That's SO COOL WHAT THE HELL]

So like... you can magically mash together to become new people?? Forget outfits, that is so much cooler! Do you share a mind or, uh, does like one of you control the left and the other the right or something??

[Hana, you're thinking of Pacific Rim, buddy.]

Sorta closer to the first one, I guess...? Stevonnie is their own person, though! They're not... one person, or two people. They're an experience!

[That's how Connie's described them before to someone else, and it still seems like a good way of trying to get the message across.]

So long as me and Steven are in harmony, then Stevonnie is too, and they have their own distinct personality. If something's bothering one of us though, then they'll fall out of sync, and probably split back into us again.

Dude. That's amazing. Are you like, aware of everything that's going on when you do it? Do you guys make decisions together?? That is so COOL.

[She wants to fuse!!! How does she do this that's such a cool concept SHE WANTS TO KNOW EVERYTHING]

It is!! It's just like... like. I don't know, I don't really know how to explain it any better than that! I'm definitely aware of it, though, I know what happened and what Stevonnie was thinking after we unfuse.
