+ FOURTH WALL EVENT: GENERAL NON-PARTY MINGLE POST +

Who: E V E R Y O N E
Where: Everywhere that isn't one of the parties! Both Sides!
When: Sept 1st to Sept 10th
Rating: G to PG-13 (please label higher ratings, thank you!)
Summary: Wonderful parties are springing up all across Wonderland, but there are still plenty of other places to explore. This is a log for any new arrivals who want to experience different parts of Wonderland life, and any current guests not in the mood for a log or transmission of their own.

Please also see THE FOURTH WALL MASTER POST for rules, information, and all the fun parties you can visit!
The Story:

On the morning of September 1st, everyone in Wonderland, on both Real and Mirror Side, will awake to find one of four possible invitations has been shoved under their doors. The glass has been carefully removed from all mirrors, and everyone will be able to cross to and from Mirror Side with ease, without forcing any sort of swap. The Queen of Hearts' chambers, discovered in the previous event, will be mysteriously inaccessible, leading only to a tearoom.

Additionally, there will be many more Wonderland guests than usual, each of them with their own random invitation and network device (wired to make replies only). As the week goes on, as per the invitations, more and more parties will appear (and everyone is invited to all of them, whether they received an invitation or not). But who brought them here? Why are there so many parties? Who is responsible for all of this exactly?

It's anyone's guess, though if parties or riddles are not your style, then there is always plenty more to see...

SAVE 1.0

[5/20 HP]

[It's only the sound of pounding feet that gives them enough time to fling themself to the side, evading the worst of the swing. But they still take a deep gash into their side, red on the Dagger and splattered on the floor.]

[The Human swings out a kick as they fall to the floor and tumble away, trying to get distance from their attacker by any means necessary. The Dagger is in their hand by the time they come up, and the expression they wear is impassive, blank. And something else--an anchor lodged into reality with the force of two wills behind it.]

[How much Determination do you really have, Mirror?]
dustiest: (* Be seeing you.)

[The closing, severing snap of a SAVE laid into place. Perhaps, if they reach...will their file be overwritten, or can they access their own SAVE, make this all a bit easier? Warring determination. Always a dark and ruinous path. It is nothing like the way Frisk and Chara occasionally lapse into a battle of wills.

They will have to experiment. Later, perhaps. For now, they will take a vicious pleasure in the way they cut through this Frisk and their shared mind, the way the red spatters across -

Red?

They're human now. They're human, and that is enough to give the Mirror pause, enough for Frisk to kick them back.

They scramble to their feet immediately after, eyes narrowed.]

Got quite the little arsenal on you, don't you?

[The Human doesn't respond. No need, no option for * Talk here.]

[No input.]

[No...input? Hm.]

[They stand straighter, an echo and flicker in their SOUL whispering.]

[* Your choice this time, partner.]

[Frisk blinks, and their expression changes to wary caution. They lift the Dagger, but not to FIGHT.]

...I'd rather use MERCY.
dustiest: (* Come join the fun.)

SAVE 2.0

[Oh, god. Another self-righteous MERCY-spewing waste of their time! Frisk rolls their eyes.]

You don't ever get sick of that little song and dance? What happens if I kill you, hm? Would that be all right? Would we be friends forever?

[They slam down a SAVE with vicious abandon, with as much concentrated spite as they can possibly bring to bear.]

Boring.

[personal profile] gainedlove 2016-09-08 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
[They aren't used to their SAVE being speared through by anything other than a truly overwhelming force. But this--they have a moment to actually struggle before their control is ceded. It's enough to make them pause, straighten up a little.]

[Well, didn't THIS just get interesting.]

[Their eyes narrow again, but they stand firm.]

You can say what you want. But I won't die.
dustiest: (* They don't interest you at all.)

[personal profile] dustiest 2016-09-09 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
Why not, hm? Because you looove your friiiiends? Because you've got people who belieeeeve in you?

[They drop the drawn-out, mocking air. They're sick to death of moralizing. Their Real does nothing but that, when they're not having profound heart-to-hearts with a suicidal child-thing pretending to be more human than it actually is.]

Or is it because this is Wonderland, and all our deaths are temporary, which you would know if you lived here?
gainedlove: (* Watch)

[personal profile] gainedlove 2016-09-09 12:10 am (UTC)(link)
[Frisk frowns, the grip on the Dagger tightening. They breathe...in, then out. Focus.]

No.

[They step forward. A risk, but a calculated one.]

I won't die because I don't want to. Are you going to FIGHT me?
dustiest: (* Stay determined.)

[personal profile] dustiest 2016-09-09 12:35 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I see.

* But it refused, right? Sorry, you don't get that luxury here. Wonderland doesn't like those who break its rules. And the rules are -

[They swipe with the Dagger, aiming for their other-self's midriff. They are not holding back. They won't. Not when the EXP is presenting itself so shamelessly!]

- kill or be killed.
gainedlove: (* Check)

[personal profile] gainedlove 2016-09-09 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
[Frisk darts back quickly, Dagger held up to deflect the blow. The news of that trick is a little disappointing--they'd wondered if it could even be used outside of their usual constraints--but it doesn't blunt their will in the slightest.]

I don't need t' use that if you can't hit me.

[Run through enough True Resets, and you'll figure out how to clear Flowey with no hits. Getting away from themself without another hit? Shouldn't be that much harder.]

[* Don't get cocky.]
[* We don't have room for error with this plan.]
dustiest: (* I've got better things to do.)

[personal profile] dustiest 2016-09-09 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
[The clang of blade-on-blade is jarring and exhilarating. New possibilities. Mirror and not-Mirror! What a thrilling climax, huh?

Or, you know. Whatever.]

Yes, yes. You're a Frisk, and you're great at dodging. Why don't you let your tankier counterpart come out to play, huh? Or is demona, demonb, demonc - is that all too on the nose for them?
